This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Sparkman puts together a panel of qualified members from our own church body on physical and nutritional health! Stewarding our physical health doesn’t always feel spiritual, but it is. If our bodies aren’t functioning well, we can’t carry out the mission God has for us. Topics discussed are on the pillars of health, nutrition, and exercise!
This special service is our annual Student Takeover, where our Resonate Kids and Youth get to lead church on Sunday morning! From worship, to serving, to the message itself, our Kids and Youth get to show us what God has laid on their hearts, and everything they've been learning! We have some sweet testimonies and a mini sermon from our RL Kids, and a panel on the topic of parent relationships from our RL Youth!
Stewarding our calling is framed by a simple mercy from God. God is sovereign, God loves, and God intends no pressure in the life of a disciple. The church often overvalues its own contribution, undervalues God’s sovereignty, and doubts the magnitude at which God can move. When Elijah hid in fear, God met him not in earthquake or fire, but in a whisper. God renamed Gideon “mighty warrior” while he cowered in a winepress. Our past failures, shame, or self-doubt often shout louder than God’s quiet assurance - but what we label as disqualifications become divine appointments when surrendered. Identity is drawn from redemption, not performance!
Each one of us has a spiritual station! But are we stewarding it in the way God intended us to? In Matthew 5, the curious crowd listens to Jesus’ words, but avoids confronting His divine identity. We often mistakenly do the same, reducing His radical call to self-improvement tips, missing the heart of His message. Jesus’ teachings cannot be separated from His claim to be Savior. To steward our positions, we must investigate His claims with urgency—not as a casual observer, but as one facing eternity. Spiritual poverty begins when we admit we have nothing to offer God!
In honor of Father's Day, Pastor Ben Watts continues his two-part sermon on stewarding relationships and learning how to forgive. When we're hurt by others, it's natural to harbor resentment. That road feels right but produces death, whereas God’s way feels riskier, but leads to life. Wholehearted forgiveness is not discrediting what happened to you - it's a Christlike release that keeps our hearts clean and free of bitterness! The forgiveness we show others must match the quality of Christ’s forgiveness. On the cross, Jesus prays “Father, forgive them,” with rejection and betrayal still fresh in his wounds. That kind of forgiveness is not natural. It is a miracle of grace! Following Christ's example will reshape lives, homes, and restore bonds that once were broken.

This Sunday at Resonate, Pastor Jeff Sparkman wraps up our journey through the book of Ruth! To conclude this series over life seasons, Pastor shares how to trust God with the outcome of a decision after you've stepped out in faith. It's often difficult to release control and surrender our expectations to God's plan, right? But His faithfulness extends far beyond what we can see, and His plans are always greater than our own.
How do you spell faith? R-I-S-K. Any leap of faith involves trusting God with everything! Continuing our series through the book of Ruth, this week Ruth takes a huge risk and asks Boaz to marry her. Following her example, Pastor Jeff speaks on taking the leap of faith into your next season, and how to be confident that you’re hearing from God about your next season.
This Sunday, Pastor Jeff continues our study of the book of Ruth with chapter 2, over the topic of waiting on the Lord. We all go through waiting seasons in life - it's not a matter of if, but when we'll encounter it! Being stuck in that holding pattern is never enjoyable, but the waiting always has a purpose! God has a lot to teach us and work in us during the waiting.
This Sunday in honor of Mother's Day, Pastor Sarah Sparkman is bringing the word! The Bible tells us to honor our Mothers, but how do we navigate that process if our relationship with mom is strained? Or if we have a safe relationship with mom, are we honoring her correctly? Whether your experience with your mother is good or bad, the Bible shows us how we should be stewarding our relationship with the mother figures in our lives.
This Sunday, Pastor Jeff shares a practical message on the rhythms and seasons of life. We might say with our words that we prioritize certain things, but our schedule shows the reality of what we actually value, and defines the things we truly prioritize. Pastor Jeff speaks on what God’s word says about our daily and weekly schedule, and the importance of walking through seasons without getting stuck in them.
This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Sparkman speaks about stewarding our time. What does God’s word say about how we spend our time? We all have the same amount of time in a day, so how are we using that time to glorify God? If this is something you struggle with, there are many helpful ways and time-saving hacks to create more margin in your life.
Pastor Ben Watts shares a message on Jesus’ example of intimacy with the Father, and how true stewardship flows from that kind of connection with Him. Not just from applying kingdom principles to achieve your own success!
It's Easter at Resonate Life Church! Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with powerful worship, a live production with a special performance, and an Easter Sunday message highlighting God's power to turn ashes to beauty, and graves to gardens. Now go share the Good News!
Continuing our stewardship series, Pastor Jeff Sparkman shares a message on Eternal Rewards, pt. 2! The Bible states we are promised heavenly rewards as we steward what we're given on this earth. What will that look like according to God’s Word?
We gather on Good Friday to remember the weight of Jesus’s sacrifice, prepare our hearts for Easter, and see God's provision to make a way for us throughout the entire Bible.
Continuing our stewardship series, Pastor Jeff Sparkman shares a message on Eternal Rewards. The Bible states we are promised heavenly rewards as we steward what we're given on this earth. What will that look like according to God’s Word?
Pastor Jeff Sparkman begins a new series on Stewardship, our Biblical word and church focus for 2026! Remember, stewardship this isn’t just a financial word. We steward everything in our life - our time, relationships, gifts, resources, purpose, and God assignments. How can we ensure we are being good stewards of what we've been given?
This Sunday Kelley Schubert, one of our honored Elders here at Resonate, speaks on the verses in Matthew 11:28-30. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
This Sunday we are excited and honored to host the founder of Creation Today, Eric Hovind! Eric passionately teaches apologetics with biblical truth around the world, and has produced over 400 Creation Today Shows, written 4 small group curricula, and produced 5 short films. Today we hear about the origin story of the Bible, and how we can know it's the truth!
This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Sparkman gives a sermon on the Priestly Blessing (or Benediction) from Numbers 6. This blessing is already prayed over us each Sunday, yet understanding its history and deeper meaning gives it much more significance to pray over yourself and family. Not only is the Benediction the oldest Biblical document to ever be found containing just this blessing on it, it is also one of the few places in the Bible where God tells us exactly what to say!
Dr. Richard Barnor gives a sermon on Luke 19:11-17, over the Parable of the Ten Minas. This passage lays out a clear example of being faithful with what you're given, whether it's much or little, and from this parable we can see principles of relationship, responsibility, and reward in Biblical stewardship!
Commission Sunday is our day to anoint and pray over every individual in the church. We pray specifically for you to be a light this year for Jesus, to be filled with boldness, to encounter the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, and to give you a deeper love for Him!

This is our big day during December including a production from our kids program, special Christmas worship, and fellowship afterwards with treats, hot cocoa, and pictures with very own Santa Clause!
This Sunday, Pastor Ben Watts gives a sermon on waiting patiently as we eagerly anticipate the dreams, hopes, and even promises given to us by God. We can cling to hope as our anchor because we know God is faithful and has a perfect purpose for each of us. This journey is represented countless times throughout scripture, specifically with Abraham and Sarah in the Old Testament!
Every year, we take a few Sundays to just tell God Stories! These are testimonies of God’s work and inspiring true stories of miracles God has done in the lives of people right here in our congregation! Do you have a testimony of salvation, provision, healing, or deliverance? Has God done a miracle in your life? The Bible says let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story. Remember, your testimony could be someone else's prophecy!
Pastor Jeff Sparkman wraps up our Jesus First Series with the last word of the year, “Times of refreshing, renewal, and rest”. A big part of returning to your first love is about the rhythms of life and how to live with purpose, less distraction, and less busyness. The goal of this message is to stir us all to make some adjustments to our daily and weekly rhythms, and to experience a refreshing in the Lord in times of prayer!
Pastor Jeff Sparkman shares God’s word with a message called “Consecrated, a Heart Set Apart”. In our Jesus First series on returning to our first love, we are focusing on making Jesus the center of our lives. This Sunday, we discuss the difference between seeing Jesus as the Savior of your life, and actually making him the LORD of your life.
This Sunday, our honored guest speaker and member Dr. Richard Barnor speaks on how we must be willing to move with God's direction, and that where we are planted spiritually matters. In the right spiritual environment, our gifts and destiny are called forth. Additionally, God’s revelation is always unfolding, and we must be willing to move with Him into new seasons. Clinging to past moves or traditions can cause us to miss what God is doing now. Stay hungry, stay flexible, and seek fresh encounters with God’s heart and purpose!
Continuing our series on keeping Jesus as the priority in your life, this week Pastor Jeff Sparkman speaks on repentance. What do we do when we get off track in our relationship with God, and how do we get back?
Today we kick off our new series, Jesus First, which is based off one of our words for the year: returning to your first love! This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Sparkman speaks not only on putting God first in everything, but also the tremendous blessings that come from making Him the center of your life.
Reflecting on the end of our series through the Gospel of John, Pastor Ben Watts gives a powerful sermon over one of our themes for the year: return to your first love. Pastor Ben speaks on asking God for an outpouring of the same passion, joy, and dedication we once lived in when we first became believers, or when we had a specific encounter with God. But when life gets difficult, it becomes harder and harder to remember these moments. We need to return to our first love, the Creator of the universe!
This Sunday Pastor Jeff Sparkman finishes our series in the Gospel of John, where Jesus reappears to His disciples and restores Peter's calling, even after Peter had previously denied Him three times. This message has a lot of significance for us today, as many of us feel like God can't use us after our failure - but the good news is that God still loves us and restores us to wholeness.
This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Sparkman preaches on evidences for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The death and resurrection of Jesus are the most important events in all the world; it changed everything! What proof do we have that Jesus rose from the dead? Is our faith grounded in reason and evidence or do we need to check our brains at the door? We can have great confidence that Jesus really did rise from the dead.
This Sunday at Resonate, we are honored to have guest speakers Brian and Kristen Ming! Brian is a prophetic voice in the church. He led worship for many years at Christ for the Nations, has been a senior pastor, and now travels the nation encouraging churches. He has a special message for Resonate as we transition to two services, about walking in step with The Spirit, and resisting the urge to pull too far ahead, or fall too far behind.
Pastor Jeff Sparkman continues our series through the Gospel of John in John 19, on Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea's bravery to declare their support of Jesus as the Messiah. This message encourages us to remember that when we are in a spiritual battle, the devil does not want truth to be brought to the light. But God is using this to advance His Kingdom, the truth of the Gospel is being shared all over the world like never before, and people are boldly speaking out. This is the hour to be bold and share God’s truth openly!
Pastor Jeff Sparkman shares from John 19 on Pilate’s predicament with Jesus on trial. Pilate had a choice to give into the mob or release an innocent man. He chose political expediency and what the crowd wanted over what was right. This Sunday, Pastor Jeff gives some Biblical keys to overcoming the fear of man and the need for approval.
This Sunday Pastor Jeff Sparkman, along with Pastor Sarah Sparkman and the Elders at Resonate, share with the church the heart and vision of Resonate Life. This service is for our leadership to share where they sense the Lord is leading our church in the future, and express the mission and values that lead us. Additionally, there are some important updates about the church, our services, and the building expansion!
Back in the Gospel of John, over the trial and sentencing of Jesus in chapter 19, Pastor Jeff Sparkman speaks on the healing power of Jesus. In Isaiah, it says by His stripes we are healed. What is God’s promise of healing in our lives?
Pastor Jeff Sparkman is back to continue our series through the Gospel of John! In John chapter 18 during trial of Jesus, we ask the same question Pilate asked 2000 years ago: “What is truth?” How do we know what to believe today and where to find truth?
This Sunday Kelley Schubert, one of our Elders here at Resonate, delivers a message on how God has “divine blueprints” for each of our lives. Meaning He has unique plans and wisdom that He is eager to share with each of us, like He did for Moses, David, and Solomon, if we will only ask! Our part is to approach Him with humility, ask for wisdom, and wait for His Spirit to move. When we do, we become agents of change—altering atmospheres, building healthy communities, and pointing people to Jesus.
Every year, we give our RL Youth Students an opportunity to minister to the adults on a Sunday. Lead by Pastor Sarah Sparkman, two of our students, Isabella Schoellman and Phillip Williamson, share a message the Lord has laid on their hearts about what it means to be "all in" for Jesus!
Every year, we give our RL Kids an opportunity to minister to the adults on a Sunday. Our Children's Pastor, Pastor Katy Watts, and her team present a fun and impactful church service lead by our kids! Pastor Katy brings God’s word in a way that is not only easy for kids to understand with lots of illustrations, but still profound and impactful to us as adults!
Throughout Scripture, God’s pattern for preparing His people for supernatural harvest is clear: repentance, cleansing, and outpouring. As we prepare for growth and harvest in our church and city, it is essential that our hearts are prepared first—ready to receive, hold, and steward what God desires to pour out. Without this inner preparation, even the greatest outward success can break us.
Get ready to be challenged and fired up! This Sunday Dr. Richard Barnor speaks on waiting for God's promise, and not rushing His timing. God doesn't forget us! Formerly pastoring in Plano for several years, Dr. Barnor and his wife Rocinda been all over the world, working with the Taekwondo Federation and in the government of Ghana. We are so blessed to have them a part of our body!
This Sunday, we were incredibly excited to welcome our friend, Pastor Troy Maxwell to speak at our church. He’s also the author of several impactful books, including The Panic Room. He shares his journey through panic attacks and anxiety and learning to trust God, as well as finding a rhythm of rest. This incredibly valuable message will speak to your heart and encourage your faith!
This Sunday is a pivotal day at Resonate! We add Kelley and Robin Schubert to our Eldership team, hear from all of our elders about the heart and vision of Resonate, and officially take up our pledges for the Making Room For The Harvest Campaign.
Along with a special prayer over our dads in honor of Father's Day, Pastor Jeff Sparkman continues our series through the Gospel of John in John 18 where we see the trial of Jesus before Pilate. Pilate asks the famous question, what is truth? We discuss the humanity of Jesus, religion vs. relationship, and discerning truth in our day and age.
This week, Pastor Jeff Sparkman continues our series through the Gospel of John in John chapter 18, with Peter’s denial. We can all see a little bit of ourselves in the disciple Peter. This passage helps show us how to deal with failure in life, and how it’s never the end, but only an opportunity to grow and walk closer to Jesus.
This week, Pastor Ben Watts continues our series through the Gospel of John in chapter 18, where we step into the most pivotal moments in all of Scripture — the betrayal and arrest of Jesus. Chapters 18–20 cover only three days, yet they contain the most important events in human history: the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. These moments didn’t just mark the end of Jesus’ earthly ministry, they changed the world forever!
In addition to a major update on our building project, this Sunday we continued our series in John 17 with Jesus’ prayer for unity. All of God’s Word is vital, but this particular passage speaks powerfully to where we are right now as a church. The Bible shows us how to walk in unity, what truly unites us, how to view denominational differences, and how to cultivate unity in your family, church, and community. Where there is unity, God commands a blessing!
Pastor Jeff Sparkman's message in John 17 comes from Jesus’ longest recorded prayer in the Bible, where He prays specifically for unity among believers. Prayer and Biblical unity is a crucial part of our walk as believers. What is unity... and what isn’t it?
On this Mother's Day, our next passage in the Gospel of John very fittingly compares the disciple's mourning to the anguish of a mother in childbirth, which doesn't compare to the joy she experiences once the baby is born! Similarly, the pain and trials we endure on this earth are only temporary, and do not compare to the joyful reality of our future with Christ. We have hope in Jesus, no matter what we are going through!
This Sunday our own Kelley Schubert is speaking on the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives in John 16. We often take for granted the incredible gift we have today with the Holy Spirit active in our daily lives!
We are back in John this week on the topic of persecution and opposition in the Christian walk. There will always be trials in our lives, as Jesus said "If the world hates you, know that it hated me first." John 15:18. But Jesus promised to be with us always, and has given us power to resist and overcome temptation. Feeling tempted isn't a sin - it's how you respond to that temptation!
He is Risen!! In celebration of Jesus's resurrection this Easter Sunday, we present the real testimonies of real people who experienced the miraculous power, love, and restoration of Jesus Christ in their own lives. No matter who you are or what you've been through, YOU can experience this healing too! There is ALWAYS hope.
We take this time to reflect somberly over the great sacrifice Jesus made, and the weight of the burden He carried. The grief of His death was great, but we have the joy of knowing Resurrection Sunday is on the way!
Pastor Jeff Sparkman is back in the Gospel of John, Chapter 15 this week with Jesus’ famous teaching on the vine and branches. This passage is about pruning, and how we should respond when God takes things out our life. Willingness to grow and mature in Christ is a necessary part of walking with Him!
This Sunday, our overseer Pastor Zane Anderson is in the house! Bringing a Spirit-filled message from the Lord, Pastor Zane speaks on boldly moving forward and taking hold of what you know God has called you to do, and not to turn away when you encounter obstacles. God has a unique purpose and a destiny for each of us if we decide to follow Him, and we don't want to miss it out of fear!
This Sunday, we are honored to have our own Dr. Barnor gives a powerful message in Chapter 12 of the Gospel of John. Dr. Barnor is an incredible communicator of God’s Word, you don't want to miss it!
Today for our guest speaker, missionary Alan Crookham, speaks about the importance of evangelism, the miracles he's witnessed God do in the lives of others, and his passion for the Gospel. Prepare yourself to be challenged to reach the lost and share your faith!
This Sunday in our series through the Gospel of John, Pastor Jeff Sparkman speaks on the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, praying in Jesus name, and Jesus's promise that we will do greater works. We pray for the Holy Spirit to empower us this week!
This Sunday in John 13 and 14, Jesus tells His disciples, "where I am going you cannot come, but one day you will be with me. In my Father's House there are many mansions, if it was not true I wouldn't tell you so." If you have a vision for something you prepare for it. If you have a vision for retirement you prepare and set aside money. Maybe the reason we don't prepare for heaven is because we don't have a vision for it. This Sunday, we spend some time imagining Heaven!
Pastor Jeff Sparkman continues our series through the Gospel of John, this week in John Ch.13 where Judas commits to betray Jesus. Betrayal is something every one of us will experience in this life, some deeper than others. God's word shows us how we should deal with, heal through it, and stay whole in our emotions afterwards. How do we continue to trust after a betrayal and how do we make wise decisions about who we allow in our life to limit the pain of toxic relationships?
This Sunday, Pastor Ben Watts continues our series in the Gospel of John with a sermon about John 13:1-17, where Jesus insists on washing Peter's feet, and tells him, "do as I have done to you." How to we put this into practice today, and what does it to wash the feet of others? Additionally, when we ourselves are washed by the blood of Jesus, we can have faith that He will be with us always, through both the mountains and the valleys of life.
Have you ever felt like God gave you a dream or a promise, only for it to seem delayed, or even unfulfilled several years later? In the Bible we see many situations where God promised His people great things, but if He hadn't put a "pause" on the promise, the full magnitude of His glory wouldn't have been revealed in its entirety! We know that God works everything out for good for those who love Him, and has plans to give us a hope and a future. We also know that God is always with us and working in our lives, even when we can't see it. God knows the big picture, so we can trust Him with the outcome of our lives, and know He is for us!
As a church family, it is important for us to hear the different voices of the body of Christ! This Sunday, we continue our on-going God Stories series by hearing the testimonies, trials, and personal stories of those here who have encountered God in miraculous ways. We hope you are encouraged and receive a renewed faith as you listen the real life experiences of people here, and know you aren't alone in your own struggles! No matter your situation, there is always hope with Jesus.

Today on our annual Commission Sunday, we the complete our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting with the anointing of our pastors, elders, staff and leaders, and each individual and family in our church. We pray God's blessings over you as we begin our journey through 2025!
On our annual Vision Sunday, Pastor Jeff recaps themes, progress as a church, and all that God has done last year in 2024, along with the words and vision He has heard from God about the year to come in 2025. This year, our word is to Return to our First Love. We need to remember God's sovereignty and priority in our lives, and how everything else good flows from Him.
We are now a full week into our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting! This Sunday, Pastor Jeff continues our series in the Gospel of John in chapter 12, where Mary pours expensive perfume onto Jesus's feet. When we are walking in the will of God, nothing we give up for the Lord's sake will be in vain. Even if we are struggling in the process, there is joy on the other side!
Today we kick off our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting as a church! Fasting and prayer are powerful tools for drawing near to God, and help us become more sensitive to God's voice. Throughout this fast, be open to God's interventions, as change often comes when we least expect it. Let 2025 be our "comeback," as we recognize that no matter how dire our circumstances may seem, God has plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future.
As we stand on the brink of a new year, it's a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. The transition from one year to the next is more than just a change of date; it's a divine opportunity for new beginnings! Reflecting on our words for 2024, Honor, Harvest, and Resurrection, Pastor Jeff gives us insight on how to continue bringing these values into 2025.
(Intro is 10min)
Today, guest speakers George and Baht Rivka Whitten explained the profound significance of prophecy, and its fulfillment through the birth of Yeshua, Jesus Christ. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we recognize it as a prophetic event, not just a historical occurrence. Yeshua fulfilled over 300 prophecies, a mathematical improbability that underscores the divine orchestration of His life and mission. This is not blind faith; it is a faith grounded in the revelation of God's plan for humanity.
In John Chapter 11, Pastor Ben Watts speaks on Jesus's resurrection of Lazarus. We can trust in God's sovereignty, knowing that He can orchestrate our circumstances for His glory and our good, even when faced with challenges or opposition. By surrendering to His will and celebrating the breakthroughs of others, we position ourselves to experience His grace and favor in our own lives.
This is the day we as a church celebrate this amazing season together. Experience all the best Christmas music and a live theatrical production of an original story called “Mae’s Gift”. This drama will pull on your heart strings and stir hope in your heart for what Christmas really means!
Pastor Jeff speaks on Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead in John chapter 11, and how all of Jesus's decisions, regardless of how confusing they seemed to His disciples at the time, were made with a greater purpose in mind. Similarly, in our lives God doesn't make us wait needlessly. He knows the bigger picture, and is preparing us for something greater!
This Sunday, Pastor Jeff speaks on the topic of true salvation, which is not only secured as a believer of Christ, but comes from a genuine saving faith. Saving faith is not just a momentary decision, but a deep, personal relationship with Jesus that is shown through a transformed life reflecting His character.

Guest Speaker Kelley Schubert gives a phenomenal sermon on Jesus giving the blind man sight in John Chapter 9. This passage shows us that God's power is not only evident when we are at our lowest, but that walking in the light of God's promises is a process. We are all somewhere in between having mud on our eyes, and rejoicing because our vision has been made clear!
As a believer, you know who you are by your identity in Christ. But do you know where you're going in life? In John Chapter 8, Pastor Jeff Sparkman speaks on the gifts God has uniquely given each of us, and how we need to step into our personal purpose and calling to do what He has created us to do!
Pastor Jeff speaks on Jesus's statement, "The truth will set you free," and how knowing the ultimate truth, God's truth, will allow us to both see what we've been missing, and also liberate us from what keeps us chained.

Pastor Jeff speaks on the importance of Jesus's words, "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone." Because of Jesus's sacrifice, we all have received a second chance just like the woman in this passage. We must live in such a way that does not take this for granted, as well as extend the same kind of mercy to others.
