David Schnepf and Jarett Serafin

The world is an interesting place, filled with hard questions to ask like, which dating apps yield the more success rate or why is there a whole universe built on Kentucky Fried Chicken Lore? These are the type of questions we look to explore and answer as best we can. From different life experiences to different media releases, people to films, we plan to try to cover just a little bit every episode, from 2 different perspectives. What happens when we run out of topic ideas and record on Sunday Night? We talk about a long awaited Jarett topic of DCOMs or Disney Channel Original Movies. We talk about a ton of our favorite DCOMs and trashed on some of the bad ones. DCOMs were such a generation defining trope for Jarett and I's childhood and really had a very specific flavor of media. We discuss our favorite Disney actors and actresses and sometimes talk about where they are now. Hope you like it!

Games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild, The Witcher, and Shadow of Mordor have set the standard of an open-world videogame experience that is impossible to live up to from an indie developer or small game development team. Often times expectations are set higher then manageable for small teams developing games like No Man's Sky, selling a full-on, next-gen, revolutionary experience, programmed by ONLY 10 PEOPLE!!! Even GTA V has issues keeping up with such promises, having tons of man power to produce such games. Not every game needs to be an open world, and often times smaller games offer better and more intimate experience. To discuss the positives and negatives of Open-World game design we have Game Dev, Jowling, to tell up what makes a great game!

This week Jarett and I talk about our respective creative processes and how it affects our art. We go through discussing all the more difficult part of dumping our energy into various creative projects, alone and with others. Discussing our mediums in writing, music and building and the limitations we tend to run into when we start new adventures. Basing our projects on life experiences or fictional situations and discussing the mental challenges we face day to day. I open a can of a tequila mixed drink called "Mamitas" for the intro. Best audio quality so far though. IDK what I'm writing. Have a great week!!!!

Delivery and fast food, an essential industry, especially in the pandemic. While we are quick to order, we often forget that there are people preparing and delivering what we crave. Treating service workers well is an essential kindness that should be a no brained, but unfortunately some works get the short end of the stick, having to deal with the infamous Karen or Kyle. Today we have, friend of the pod, Alex Medina to talk about his experiences working in food service and food delivery

Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches and more, are staples of the American diet but being convenient, fast and roadside, that's where today's topic takes the stage. Often offering a variety of flavors from around the world with halal, tacos and pizza, some restaurants know that you want a quick bite, done right. This week, we are going through Jarett’s Extensive fast food tier list.

Last Week, we talked about the D.A.R.E. Program from a statistical standpoint. Discussing its fundamental failures and triumphs across the life and evolution of the program. Recently I have interviewed some officers who have taught the dare program or have been in contact with the program, and gotten their perspective on the effectiveness of the dare program. Their opinions remain anonymously given and will hopefully paint a more hopeful picture for you as our listeners.

The D.A.R.E. Program, a curriculum built to stop people from doing drugs at a young age and to start them on the right track for the rest of their life. The heart ache and self destruction associated with people getting hooked on substances such as alcohol and hard drugs plagues society through the eyes of many but has the results of dare’s teachings shown a positive outcome in the next generation. This week we are doing part 1 to our 2 part expose on the dare program, focusing solely on facts and research publicly available. Next week, we will discuss the personal touch of dare and how it has affected actual people over the years.

Insecurities, we all have them. Terrible things that we are afraid of internally that range between shortcoming in our skill sets, personalities or physical bodies that make us feel less than stellar and affect our self-confidence. Although we accept gender as a spectrum, today we will be focusing on cis gendered individuals. There are questions that we all want to know the answers to but are too afraid to ask someone of the opposite sex honestly. Today, we will try to get answers from a friend to try and bridge this gap.

Companies and their Mascots will try to build their brand anyway possible. Commercials, Comic books, and toys could be ways to flesh out a character’s story but video games allow you to be fully immersed in a brand’s ecosystem. These games span between Cash Grab, Rushed Train-wreck or Diamond in the rough, where some games actually have great game play to reflect a great product. Let's follow up on last week’s topic of brand icons and explore their worlds through video games.

From Tony the tiger to Colonel Sanders, brand mascots are everywhere, being the bright happy faces of all the products we consume daily. Are they all icons of perfection or do they have sinister effects on the people who idolize them. We will be discussing American Brand Mascots and the lore behind each one that makes them so nostalgic and memorable. This Episode aims to over inform you about the craziness behind these recognizable figures and their involvement in pop culture.

Relationships are an amazing way to start exploring both the world and yourself with someone you care about. An additional sense of comradery by someone who really understands you to help you work through life’s difficult issues and doing the same for them in return. Relationships can also be very taxing on yourself and others, where you can be toxically consumed by your own feelings or the other person. Sometimes when you put on rose-colored glasses all the red flags, just look like flags.

Dating Apps, a way to connect for both introverts and extroverts alike. Possibly the single best way to meet “Hot singles in your area” and hook up night after night. Some also hope to find love. A real life bond to connect people based on common interests. Questionnaires and algorithms scientifically engineered to find the love of your life. They can be an annoying convenience to some while making it easy to meet someone but hard to make a genuine connection. For the less righteous, they can be a cash cow to make money out of a person’s desperate need for a simple conversation.
