I'm back with the 6th episode in the Armour of God series and we have just one episode left before we wrap this series up. It’s been so amazing to dig a little deeper into the armour of God and I hope you have been able to glean a few things from each episode.
In this episode, I am talking about how we can take the Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and how we can keep it sharpened!
As children of God, it is our responsibility and duty to use His Word to discern the truth and then follow it. We need to use the Word of God to discern thoughts and attitudes that are contrary to God’s way and use His word, the sword of the Spirit, to bring our attitudes and thoughts into captivity.
God’s word is so powerful that it is able to cut through every defense the enemy can raise against us.

There is a lot of chaos in the world right now and this can so easily take us in a downward spiral of sadness and discontent, as we try to navigate this alongside everything else going on in our personal lives.
In this episode, I am encouraging you about thanking God even in the chaos of life. Giving thanks can be difficult during tough times but it is during those times that taking a moment to shift our focus becomes so vital because giving thanks is essential for us to be able to press on in faith and hope.

In this episode, I am sharing from Ephesians 3:14-16 where Apostle Paul prays for the believers in Ephesus and I am bringing you encouragement from the part of Apostle Paul’s prayer where he prayed that the believers in Ephesus may have the power to understand as ALL God’s people should: how wide, how long, how high and how deep God’s love is.
God's love for us is TOTAL. It is wide, long, high and deep AND nothing, absolutely nothing can separate us from His love. I pray that you are blessed by this episode and that it'll remind you of how much you are loved by God.

It's the 5th episode in the Armour of God series and in this episode, I am talking about our Helmet of Salvation; how we can take it up and keep it in place.
Salvation is not something we can work towards but a free gift we receive if we believe in God. We can receive salvation if we confess our sins, repent of them and be baptised in the name of Jesus. Our helmet of salvation provides us with the hope of salvation and protects our minds from the discouragement and despair in this world. The hope of salvation that we have gives us stability and the ability to weather the storms of life. I hope you enjoy this episode and I pray it blesses you.

Happy Easter! I'm forever in awe and grateful to God for Christ's sacrifice on the Cross for us to be able to have direct access to the Father and so that we may have eternal life in Heaven with God.
In this episode, I am sharing with you two truths that Jesus Christ’s death on the cross points to and also encouraging you to keep pressing on and holding on to Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith.

I felt strongly led to share an encouragement that I got from the book of Jeremiah during my quiet time last week.
Sometimes when we are going through certain situations where we may feel like we are stuck and it may appear as if God has forgotten us, God may in fact be preparing us for a new beginning.
We do not need to despair during those difficult times, because we have God’s presence in our lives. We also have the privilege of being able to “call upon the Lord and He will answer” and “we will find Him if we search for Him wholeheartedly”
I pray this episode encourages you that God is ever with you and ever present and that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ.

We are back with the Armour of God series! Yeaaaa! In this episode, I am talking about the Shield of Faith: what they meant to the Roman soldier and how we can take up OUR shield of faith.
Every single piece of the armour of God is powerful. However, they all need faith to activate and strengthen them. Our belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes which are the readiness
of the gospel and helmet of salvation are powerful protection against the weapons of the enemy. But, all of these parts of the armour of God by themselves don’t function as complete protection in battle. We need our shield of faith to strengthen them and provide full covering. I felt led to encourage anyone going through the motions with self-doubt about God's calling on their lives. Something I can 100% relate to. In this episode I am sharing a little bit from the story of Gideon in Judges chapter 6.
Gideon was a mighty man of God but before becoming a mighty man of God, He had counted himself out when God called him to rescue the children of Israel from their oppressors. Gideon saw only his limitations and weaknesses when God called him; he failed to see how God could use him. But, God reassured him and he went on to do as God instructed and also became Israel's fifth judge.
I pray this episode encourages you and reminds you that as a child of God, you are never alone. God is always on your side and He will give you all the strength you need to accomplish His purpose in your life.

When I filmed this episode, little did I know that my family and I will experience a painful loss. The day after this episode was recorded, my beloved grandma died peacefully in her sleep. We grieve her loss but we are also grateful for a long life well lived and we look forward to meeting her again one day.
