We often feel subject to and powerless over our life circumstances and emotions. We live imprisoned by stress, striving, and fear among other struggles we face on a daily basis. 2 Peter 1:3 says that we have everything we need through His divine power to live a godly life, and a life in Christ means that we have the power to bring His kingdom to Earth. Life on Earth doesn't have to be ridden with stress, fear, struggle, and discouragement. We don't have to wait to live in freedom, abundance, and fulfillment until we get to heaven. But most of us don't live in the reality of His Kingdom. Andra and Connie discuss why that is and how to powerfully transform our reality because of who we are and His power in us!

Hearing God is not a rational or academic pursuit. It takes the rational part of our brain to understand, and it is something we can learn to do, but it also takes engagement of our right brain, where our imagination is stimulated. In this episode, Connie and Andra share the 3rd key to hearing God's voice which is tuning in and developing the eyes of our heart - disciplining our imagination through visualization and meditation. Tune in to learn how our imagination is our life producing creative center of our mind when we are connected to our heart, connected spirit to Spirit with God.
Hearing God’s voice is something that we all deeply desire. It is not a formula we learn but a developing discernment and maturing relationship with the Lord that we are all in. We are created with physical senses and spiritual senses and it is through those faculties that we “hear” God. We all have the ability to hear but we have to be willing to cultivate a sensitivity to God’s voice in spite of all of the noise and distractions in our minds and in our lives.
We were created to live powerfully connected spirit to Spirit with God but we live in the physical world in addition to the spirit world. Yet, we are much more tuned into and dominated by the physical world and we live out of our soul (mind, will, emotions) instead of tapping into our wisest most powerful self where we are connected spirit to Spirit with God. We live externally focused instead of internally focused. We live distracted and disconnected. In this episode, Connie and Andra share the second key to hearing God's voice. This key requires that we come back to our center and learn how to connect to our spirit – where the flow of wisdom, power, peace comes in.
Wired in us is a desire for God, but we have to engage our senses and focus our desire and imagination on communion with Him. God says that there are some things that He can only reveal through the Spirit. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit in us – He gives us direct communion with Himself. We hear His voice within our hearts. We are led by the Spirit. We have inner subjective experiences. Through insight, we receive revelation from Him, and He illumines Scripture to us. Through intuition, we sense the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the voice of God. So, our life in the Spirit, our relationship with God is an inner intuitive, spiritual heart experience.

We are created in God's image, and wired for personal connection with Him. God desires to communicate with us, and we are equipped to hear all that He wants to speak to us. He wants to share with us His mysteries, His revelatory wisdom, His counsel, His love, along with His plans and purpose for us. When we can't hear God, we lose who we are and we lose our way. God wants to transform us as His children so we are free to live in our purpose, our fullness, and our destiny, but He also wants to transform us so that we are trustworthy with His heart. We spend a lot of time trying to figure out if God is trustworthy but the question that is just as important to those of us who desire to live a life fully alive in God and in our destiny is this. Can God trust me? Am I trustworthy with God’s heart, with His purpose, plans, resources? Like the good Father that He is, God wants His sons and daughters to lead His kingdom, to run His business, so He wants us to be trustworthy to do that well.
When we talk about transformation, we are not talking about changing within our ability. We can all make changes at some level, but we are talking about heart level transformation from the inside out that changes your behaviors and outlook. It is a result of connecting with your God given identity and what He has had for you all along but you never realized.

Transformation is a critical part of us living in our true identity and fulfilling our God given purpose. The life transformation we desire is hindered when we have religious doctrine and intellectual understanding about God without an experience of His presence and power. Many of us settle for salvation but we miss the powerful transformation God has for us.
