We’ve completed the main quest of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and this week I’m going to go into more detail on the differences between the Original Release of Twilight Princess, and Twilight Princess HD. This is the start of Season 8, which is focused on the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, but that game was released bundled with a remake of the third Zelda Title, A Link to the Past. So, to kick things off we’re going to spend a couple episodes revisiting that game and pointing out some of the changes between the two versions. Deep within the mysterious Lost Woods sits a sacred grove. Unlike the other areas of the forest, which are covered in dense fog, this place is bright. Wildlife freely runs through it. And at northern end of the grove sits a large stone pedestal with the Mast Sword driven inside. This week in Legendary Adventures – Link awakens his inner King Arthur and pulls the sword from the stone.

This week the journey takes Link to the Desert of Mystery in southwestern Hyrule.
At the entrance of the desert a mustached man sits next to the sign. It reads: "Pay no attention to the average middle-aged man standing by this sign. Leave him alone!" which is more mysterious this sign, or the desert itself?
We’ll find out as season three of Legendary Adventures, A Legend of Zelda Podcast continues.

This week in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past we follow a very specific prophecy from the Hylian Book of Mudora, to Kakariko Village to start Link's quest for the Master Sword. We also get some help from villagers, and objective markers to find the path forward. We also discuss the overworld theme, and the Kakariko Village theme.

We played through seven dungeons, learned eight magic spells, two sword skills, and collected a bevy of useful items which allowed Link to claim the Triforce and awaken the ancient Princess Zelda. “The River Devil eats those who are a weak” the woman of Nabooru warns. The creature sits south of the town, blocking Link’s path to south-eastern Hyrule. It looks like a spider, or perhaps and octopus. Getting past the River Devil is the first puzzle to tackle this week on Legendary Adventures, and as head to the Hidden Palace.

It turns out Spectacle Rock isn’t the only entrance to Death. This week in Zelda II we explore the town of Ruto, meet some guy name Error, save a trophy and use a new spell to travel south to Saria and Midoro Palace. We meet some other guy named Bagu, and journey through the treacherous Death Mountain.
