Welcome to Beautiful Places to die, a nature based travel podcast that explores some of the countries most beautiful places to hike and camp, while also delving into the dark history and local legends everywhere we visit. Join your hosts, novice campers Kris, the introverted gamer geek, and Abbey, the bug-phobic beach brat, who are learning as they go and documenting every entertaining moment of it.
Tonight, we're going to investigate 6 more murders that took place in Virginia that may have some connections to the ones we've already discussed. Join us as we dive into these cases, as we speculate their link to the Colonial Parkway Killings. We also discuss the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and it's scenic Skyline Drive in the Beautiful Place of the Week.
We're back in the Historic Triangle of Virginia to continue our discussion of the mysterious deaths of 8 young individuals along the Colonial Parkway in Williamsburg, VA. Tonight, in part 2 of 4, we are discussing the lives of the 6 other souls that make up the core group, which would eventually be linked together and dubbed the Colonial Parkway murders. This week we are exploring our first case in Vacations to Die For. We will discuss what it's like to spend a week aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, The Rhapsody of the Sea, and learn of its many amenities.
We will also discuss a tragedy aboard The Rhapsody in it's first year on the water. The disappearance of Amy Lynn Bradley, which happened just as the ship was docking in the beautiful port town of Willemstad Cuacao. Did she make it to land alive?
This is part two where we discuss the theories and possible sightings of Amy. We'll also discuss the most likely suspect behind Amy's disappearance.
