About your host, Paul Osmundson, He grew up on my Family Farm in rural Iowa. He started working in construction when he was 17. His brother started building his own construction business a few years later. Paul went and worked for him. He witnessed his brother go through all the ups and downs of building a business.

His brother streaked himself too far in his business ventures and had to let go. His brother sold him the company, and he used it as a side hustle. He didn't want to be "The Boss Man." The farm operation was falling apart, and my construction jobs took all his time away from his family. Something had to change! He sold more than half his cows and started building the construction business. He built Modern Shed Builders to a point where it could keep growing!

He was exposed to the real problems of building a construction business and how rural construction companies need more support and a network to build a lasting business!
