Henry and Laurie have been married for over 25 years and own a business. It's easy to get bogged down in our day-to-day responsibilities, and life can start to feel overwhelming. A great way to bring more joy into your life is by doing something that feels good to you. What would happen if you prioritize feeling good, and what would that look like for you? Perhaps a trip to the beach? Or maybe it's taking the time to reorganize your home. Whatever it is, it's essential to create time and space for it. In this episode, we tap into what that looks like for you and how to shift your mindset to bring more joy into your life.

This episode is a recording of the Back on Track discussion I hosted this week for the #somethingfun31challenge facebook group.

Want to join the fun? Sign up at www.cassiezeeb.com & your invitation to the facebook group will be emailed to you!

Here are the key takeaways from today's episode:

All we have in this moment. You have all the infinite time available to you because you are here now. Nothing is ever guaranteed beyond that.

Feeling behind or off track is only a mindset.

The problem is that you are looking at the space between where you are and where you want to be and it is paralyzing you.

So instead, in this episode, I talk about how to practice having what you want so that you have the strength to hold it when the opportunity arises.

Because it is not about what you are doing – it is about who you are being.

How does the person who has the things you want live? How do they spend their time? What are they thinking and feeling – and you start there….

And the action falls into place easily.

You don’t know how or when you will get there, so stop worrying about those parts, and practice feeling what it will be like to be there.

The work is – learning to trust yourself & growing the tolerance to show up in new & bigger ways you didn’t think was possible.

The Happy Hearts Project Podcast is back with a fun and lighthearted but insightful episode with Health and Life Transformation Coach, Kayla Jury.

Kayla helps people feel fine in their bodies while living a life that is fun for them, too. Her goal is to help you feel your most confident, healthiest & hottest everyday because the point of life is to be happy.

Spend the next hour with us talking about:

How to know and trust yourself. How to love and accept your body, even when it doesn't feel lovable. You deserve more than fine, you deserve 100% awesome. You can be grateful for what you have and till want more. Relationships aren’t 50/50 and keeping a tally of who does what is not helpful. Your relationships become limitless when you stop tracking and just keep giving for the sake of your happiness.  Learning to communicate with yourself improves your relationship with all aspects of life. Awareness is the first step towards the changes you desire. Listen first & act second. Body neutrality is a practice, not a destination.

On this episode I spill some serious tea on the things that happened towards the end of my first marriage. I talk about how I had made a dating profile and spent a few days emotionally connecting with someone I met on vacation. I wanted to explore some of the nuances of why people "cheat." Do I consider myself a cheater? No. Does my ex? Probably. And I am ok with that.

TW: I do discuss some of the things I experienced in an abusive relationship.

Harumi's Bio:

I’m an intuitive guide based in Seattle, Washington. I help heal and clear trauma so that people can shift from “I’m so friggin stuck” to “I had no idea I could feel this good.” Think: Adventures with Mary Poppins meets Patronus lessons with Professor Lupin. I’ll guide you how to Expecto Patronum your inner dementors, disentangle roots that keep you tied down, and we’ll use spoonfuls of sugar to lighten the way. It’s deep and transformative because we harness your own, powerful magic so that you can transform your life for the better.

Over the years, I’ve gathered a few tools and skills to help out with the heavy-lifting: Emotional Freedom Techniques (“tapping”), Faster EFT, PSYCH-K, Emotion Code, Inner Voice facilitation, energy work, Inner Child guidance, and Human Design. As a spiritual medium, I can talk to your guides, ancestors, and other beings who drop in to give their two cents and help clear old baggage. I’m a psychic who can’t predict the future but can read your energy like it’s a TikTok recipe so that you know what next steps to take.

I come from a loving but dysfunctional home and live with anxiety and chronic illness. I know what it’s like to live with my nervous system in constant Code Red. Mental and physical illness shaped how I see the world and my healing. I’m living proof that you don’t have to be “over it” in order to have a beautiful, love-rich life.

Some key takeaways are:

  • Taking care of yourself is first priority, especially when you are responsible for the care of others.
  • The greatest way to love is to serve.
  • Before we know what our purpose is we have to turn into our self care & feeling better.
  • When we come into our full power, why we are here, the service flows out of you.
  • Micro decisions to enrich your moments reminds you that happiness is out there you just have to be open to it. Its not about how we change our behavior, but our perspective around it.
  • When the body feels good your nervous system feels good, and then the mind feels good.
  • If someone is well and happy we are drawn to them.
  • Treat yourself as someone who matters.
  • Our bodies are our best advisors.

Join me, Cassie, Life & Relationship Coach & the first ever featured guest of The Happy Hearts Project Podcast, Yumé Takeuchi. Yumé is a Licensed Acupuncturist who specializes in Chinese Medicine and Women's Health. In this episode we explore all things grief, transition, breakups, codependency, prioritizing career, boundaries, and how connection with self is the key to living authentic lives. Yumé talks about how she uses acupuncture to create space for connection to self and to manage emotions. She opens up vulnerably about how her plans have derailed in the past, and how she was able to embrace change to become more aligned in her life, career, and relationships.

Key takeaways:

  1. Living inauthentically starts gradually - choices that seem small can lead to large discrepancies in how we live
  2. Boundaries are an imperative tool for creating healthy and aligned relationships and lifestyle
  3. Transition happens by taking space, not just by doing
  4. Acupuncture is an amazing practice to help connect to self, to manage emotions, and to reinforce the value of caring for yourself and preventing physical and emotional health issues

Your thoughts are prayers. What are you asking for?

The truth is that where you place your attention and how you make your decisions reinforces that which becomes possible for you. This podcast goes into detail about how we reject opportunities to create and accept that which we want because of our human condition of control. Building your awareness to how you think about feeling good is the first step to accepting more of what you desire.

Key takeaways:

  1. What you want is already here - you know this because you can already feel it. This is manifestation.

  2. When we feel good we become less controlling, and more hopeful. This is where we want to be in order to receive.

  3. It is normal to feel resistance when we are presented with the opportunities we have been praying for.

  4. Our prayers have a unique way of being answered and feeling good allows you to recognize

It is time to slow down and focus on feeling good. Why? Because this is how you attract the things you desire. When we not prioritizing creating good feelings for ourselves it is easy to react instead to feelings like shame. Reacting to shame is not the way to create the outcomes you desire. So how do we do this?

We prioritize thoughts, environments, and activities that create the feelings that you desire. In this podcast I share how I prioritize feeling good while also acknowledging the uncomfortable emotions that would otherwise drive my behavior. This is how we surrender and allow what is meant for us to find us.

"Be Flexible with Boundaries" is the second of three Building Blocks for Connection, which is the title of my workbook and is available for free to those who subscribe to my email list. In this podcast you will learn the nuances of boundary setting which include:

1: The spectrum of boundary setting, from porous to rigid, and how a balanced, flexible approach to boundary setting curates happy hearts and relationship wellness

2: My realization that boundaries are not a tactic to manipulate the behaviors of others but instead a way to validate our own experience and to prioritize our authenticity over the comfort of other people.

3: People do not need to agree with your boundary in order to set them.

4: How creating a happy and aligned life for yourself will make flexible boundaries easier to set.
