We have a promise from God to be filled, satisfied, and nourished. We cannot get caught up with ourselves that we are no longer full of Jesus. Let's be friends of God by setting our minds on all that is heavenly, seeking humility, and finding fulfillment in Christ alone.
People are relying on your freedom to witness God's power. Freedom isn't about the condition of your environment, it is the condition of your worship. Do not let your circumstance keep you in bondage in such a way that you aren't able to express your love and gratitude to your Maker.
We need to change the way we communicate about our future. Is "if the Lord wills it" your heart's desire?
How can we have peace as we trust in God?
Practicing thankfulness.
Recalling God's faithfulness, goodness, and mercy will provide peace beyond understanding.
Because you have experienced God in such a way before, you are confident in His unwavering character and ways. Trusting that He will never fail!
In this episode we speak on my personal testimony, why I took a break, and the flesh. Truth is, you are only obligated to be submitted to the Spirit. Walk in the Spirit and live by the Spirit.
Trials come to prove the genuineness of our faith. In the midst of trials are you willing to tell your soul to praise God? I encourage you, that though your heart and flesh may fail, to praise His holy name.
Taming the tongue, submitting to God, and not showing favortism sounds easy when you do not struggle with it, right? In this episode we briefly go over chapters 1-5 and how it has been ministering to me. Whenever I am feeling a rough patch in my spiritual life I go to the book of James, I hope it encourages you to do so as well.
God has great plans for us and we can look forward to them, but we cannot be worried about them. We need to relinquish control and rest, knowing that God will work out everything for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
What’s salvation to someone that’s sinless? Define what sin is and salvation has a purpose.
Hosea experienced heartbreak the way God does when our loyalty is divided. God wants fidelity, in the same way a husband desires fidelity from his wife.
False prophets, adding / subtracting to the word of God, discerning a message from the Lord and more.
To build is to develop. And to develop is to promote the growth of. To edify the church means to encourage the growing of a person’s faith. And that is exactly what spiritual gifts do, they edify! Hope this episode encourages you to walk in those gifts or to ask in boldness in Jesus name for them!
