In this month's episode, coworker Kirsten Cole LCMHCA, LCAS, CCS-I, joins Taylor to discuss the series Intervention. This documentary series follows individuals who struggle with substance abuse and their families. Each episode shows a new family and the struggle of addiction in their lives. The show poses as just a documentary, but eventually each episode ends with an intervention, where the individual struggling with addiction has the option to say yes or no to rehab/treatment that would be funded by the show.
