This week on the Legacy Acres Podcast, Caleb recaps the boys’ trip down to San Antonio for Total Archery Challenge alongside Clay, Bama, and the crew. From steep shots on the TAC courses to squeezing in a little golf between courses, the trip turned into the kind of weekend that gives you stories worth retelling, and a very expensive bump on the head.

This week the LCJ team sheds some light on some hunting opportunities that don't get the attention they deserve, the Texas Draw Hunts. The great State of Texas offers a lot of opportunity for those who don't have access to land, or the time to hunt out of state. The guys go over their plans and certain hunts they have applied for, or will be applying for. In this episode, the boys talk about a morning making coyote stands with nothing to show for it, then spending the rest of the day behind a gun. Shooting longer distances than normal proved to be a fun time as they sent bullets down range. Caleb then wraps up the episode with the story of his 2020 Mule deer hunt, where he had to make a tough shot in an awkward position. Hear what this hunt taught him, and how the story unfolds on Caleb's biggest deer to date.

Tying in overall points, but falling to second place with the tie breaker is always tough, they were still proud finishing towards the top in the first team format tournament series they have fished. Jarrett and Caleb then talk about an upcoming archery shoot and some new changes in their archery set up.
With Caleb being in Hawaii, Logan and Jarrett take to the mics to discuss Jarrett's weekend in the mountains, along with the changes to his bow set up. The pair then get into the oppurtunity and strategy they plan to use this weekend to win team of the year in the TX Panhandle Anglers bass club final tournament of the year.
