After many discussions about how inaccurate we felt online review sites and movie critics are, we felt we had to start a podcast giving movies the love and reviews they deserve.If you love movies, and talking about them as much as watching them then you've come to the right place. This week we become Vikinguy MDB as we review The Northman.

This week we go to war in Guy Ritchie's The Covenant starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
We discuss the amazing story, the real hero of the movie and the unbelievable fact that this is a Guy Ritchie movie. Yes, the ex-husband of Madonna can actually do things on his own.
Although not based on a true story, the premise is incredibly likely and we discuss just how well this fictitious story is brought to near fact. As well as the frustration of call centres and the iconic role of Ahmed played by the incredibly talented Dar Salim.
Plus, did Jake Gyllenhaal severely overact?

In this week's episode we follow the journey of a "humble" gold digger at the end of WW2 that slowly reveals himself as the most kick ass, 'unkillable' war machine. It's a tale often found among comic books and superhero movies, but this Finnish movie tries to bring a sense of realism to it, with the backdrop of WW2.
In our review we discuss the Quentin touch, the wink to Terminator and the 90 minute factor. Andy also discusses his desire for realism whilst accepting how unbelievable most of it was.
It is an explosive movie with (almost) non-stop action so we, naturally, give it an explosive review. Tune in and let us know what you think...do you agree with Grant about the emotionless action hero? Does it deserve the ranking of one of the greatest action movies of recent years?
