-Featuring Pastor Loïs
Let's look at Genesis 38-39 with primary attention to Joseph’s “crucible”: how private obedience under temptation shapes character and points forward to Christ. Pastor Lois contrasts Judah’s moral failure in the Tamar episode with Joseph’s faithfulness in Egypt and extracts practical and theological lessons about resisting sin when no one is watching.

Pastor Roger uses the life of Joseph to argue that God’s providence governs even the confusing and painful chapters of our lives. Preaching from Genesis 37 with Genesis 50 as an interpretive lens, we see Joseph’s dreams, betrayal, and exile as part of a larger redemptive plan rather than meaningless misfortune.
Key Takeaways
- Trust God’s providence even when the process is painful.
- Be faithful in ordinary obedience; God uses small faithfulness for big purposes.
- Rejoice with those who receive blessing; avoid envy.
- All things work for good for those called according to God’s purpose.

In this sermon, we're introduced to Joseph as a type of Christ. Joseph is loved and sent by his father, rejected and sold by his brothers, falsely accused and imprisoned, then exalted and used to save those who once rejected him. This pattern mirrors the sending and saving mission of the Son, who was sent by the Father to redeem the world, and it echoes Christ’s humility and exaltation as described in Philippians. The point is emphatic: Joseph is not Jesus, but he is a divinely placed sign pointing forward to Christ.

Genesis 35 opens not with God's rejection, but with His gracious call. In this message, we follow Jacob's journey back to God and discover that God's grace not only calls His people to return, but also reminds them who they are, sustains them through life's deepest sorrows, and warns them against the rival paths that promise quicker progress apart from Him.
Key Takeaways:
-God graciously calls His people to return—no matter how far compromise has taken them.
-Our identity in Christ shapes our purpose and practice, producing lives that reflect His greatness.
-God's promises are always worth the wait, even when rival paths seem to offer faster progress.

Tune is as Pastor Loïs unpacks the tragedy of Genesis 34. We see that private sin and failed leadership have communal consequences, and that Christ alone rightly addresses such ruin. This sermon is organized around three character-types to show how lust, apathy, and vengeance combine to devastate families and nations, then points forward to Jesus and calls the congregation to repentance and active faith.
Key Takeaways:
- Flee sexual sin; it binds and harms beyond the individual.
- Do not lightly compromise or intermarry with systems that will pull you from God’s way.
- Repent of passivity, take righteous responsibility, and find restoration in Christ.

Jacob’s long flight ends when God stops the runner and begins a slow, costly transformation from fear-driven schemer to dependent worshiper. Pastor Bryan traces Genesis 32–33 to show how God interrupts Jacob’s patterns, confronts his self-reliance, and leads him into a new identity, a new way of walking, and restored relationships with God and others.
Key Takeaways:
- Stop running; surrender rather than scheme.
- Make honest prayer and repentance your first response.
- Accept God’s reshaping—even the “limp”—as daily dependence.

Pastor Greg looks at Genesis 31 and the theme that God brings blessing out of brokenness while calling us to trust and obey rather than manipulate. The sermon traces Jacob’s decision to leave Laban, the divine confirmation he receives, the family’s secretive flight (including Rachel’s theft of the household idols), Laban’s pursuit, and the eventual confrontation and covenant between the families.
Key Takeaways:
- Obey God’s call to return and trust his presence.
- Engage Scripture as guidance and weapon—believe, receive, release.
- Resist fear; let faith, not manipulation, shape your choices.

Pastor Loïs examines Genesis 30, focusing on the family drama to show how God meets people in the mess of their lives. Through the births of Jacob’s sons, we see the deeper “wrestlings” of Leah, Rachel, and Jacob—each wrestling with idols of validation, identity, and control—and traces how God’s faithful, impartial sovereignty governs even the tangled consequences of deception and desire.
Key Takeaways:
- God notices and acts for the rejected (Leah’s womb was opened).
- God remembers and grants grace to the afflicted (Rachel and the birth of Joseph).
- God calls us back to himself as the God of Bethel—surrender and trust rather than striving.

Pastor Bryan looks at Genesis 27 as a chaotic chessboard where family dysfunction—Isaac’s appetite, Rebekah’s fear, Jacob’s deception and Esau’s bitterness—appears to rule the day, yet God’s sovereign purpose prevails. The chapter’s drama is framed around the tagline “God never reacts. He reigns,” where we see the sensory-driven choices of humans are moves that God ultimately weaves into his covenantal plan.

Pastor Loïs develops the meaning of the altar—our intentional place of surrender and worship. The altar is the locus of true blessing and the access point to Christ’s living water. Using Isaac’s response to God in Genesis 26 as the primary Old Testament case study, we then see the New Testament fulfillment and invitation to return to a cultivated life of worship and dependence on Christ.

We’re half way through Genesis! This week, Pastor Roger looks at chapter 25. Don’t trade what matters—eternal covenant, calling, and legacy—for the immediate pleasures of appetite or convenience. Using Abraham’s final decisions, God’s faithful movement across generations, and the Esau–Jacob episode, the sermon argues that small, habitual choices form destiny and that finishing well requires clarity, trust, and intentional handing off of spiritual momentum.

Tune in as Pastor Bryan unpacks the longest chapter in Genesis. Chapter 24 is presented as a layered story: a historical account of how Isaac met Rebekah, a covenantal bridge for Abraham’s promise, and a typological foreshadowing of the gospel. Pastor Bryan discusses several faithful choices Abram made in Genesis 13-14. A big idea of his sermon is that "every decision you make reveals your allegiance." That is, our decisions show which king we're aligned with. We should be aligned to the right King, Jesus! The King of Peace and Righteousness. Like Abram, lets renounce "Sodom" and receive "Salem."

This week, Pastor Roger kicks off Part 2 of our series in Genesis, Abraham. He looks at God's call to Abram to leave his city and family and go to the land God will show him. This week, Pastor Roger opens our new series on Genesis. Part 1 of this 4-part series is called "Beginnings." Let's dig into the implications of that together as we hear this sermon.

As we close this series, Pastor Loïs discusses the foundation of celebration- joy! We were created to experience and reflect the joy of the Lord. Regardless of the things we go through, "if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" (Phil. 4:8). This is the great remedy for anxiety we so easily fall into. Take heart and put the spiritual discipline of celebration into practice as you remember, delight in God, and observe "the gathering of the saints and communion."

As we begin our new series, Pastor Loïs looks at the first Spiritual Discipline of Simplicity. In his message, he looks at Matthew 6:19-33 where Jesus discusses the danger of any attempt of pursuing both God and money. Based on this, Pastor Loïs encourages us to ask “Which treasure?,” “Which vision?,” and “Which master?” directs our hearts. “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (v. 21) The divine solution to the human problem of duplicity is simplicity. Let's "practice saying no to something material for the sake of increasing contentment in God."

Welcome to the finale of our series in the book of Acts! We hope you were encouraged and are more familiar with the birth of the church in the New Testament. In this last sermon, Pastor Bryan discussed the seemingly anticlimactic end to Acts but highlighted the word "unhindered." This is a word with a very climactic meaning. The advancement of the gospel has continued "unhindered, unstoppable... but still unfinished!" That's where the church today comes in. We're to continue the mission. Acts 1:8 is still our roadmap for today: Be a witness in your Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and end of the earth.

This week we look at Paul’s response to accusations against him as he gives a defense to three main groups— a crowd, a council, and a court. In each encounter, Paul displays great boldness as he respectfully articulates true and rational words. We see purpose in his persecution: the mission of Jesus and the desire to see people come to faith in him. Let’s join the mission and allow the Holy Spirit to equip us with moral conduct, conviction, and courage to live and declare biblical truth among a deceived culture, having the desire to see people give their lives to Jesus.

The message of Christ's crucifixion is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles (1 Cor. 1:23). Even so, we're called to share the Good News to those around us. We can stand on the words of Jesus, "Do not be afraid for I am with you. Speak and do not be silent for I have many in this city who are my people" (Ac 18:9-10, paraphrased). We can have confidence that where Christ sends us with the Gospel, there He has His people (J.I. Packer).

In today's message, Pastor Ray unpacked how the church in Acts 15 overcame conflict on the path to unity at the Jerusalem Council. First, we explore the cultural and historical context that led to the dispute before moving to the defense of Peter, Paul, and James for what God was doing among the Gentiles. We then unpacked James' Holy Spirit-directed decision that would promote unity between Jews and Gentiles. The legalists should lighten up and not lay too heavy a yoke on the Gentiles and the converts should be sensitive concerning their habits. "What would it look like if naturally supernaturally we walk in step with the Holy Spirit?"

Pastor Adam closes out Acts chapter 2 speaking about characteristics of fellowship and devotion to prayer. God is calling us to be the church away from church by devoting ourselves to genuine community. We aren't meant to be introverted but intentional in commitment to living life together and sharing our faith with others. And it's time to step up our prayer life by leading ourselves, our families, and others.

Today we explore the first sermon of the church, the fiery sermon of Peter. We see him, empowered by the Spirit, truly catching men as 3,000 people are added to the church after being cut to the heart. Pastor Ray unpacks this sermon showing how God attested to Jesus being Christ and Lord through works, resurrection, exaltation, and Spirit. When confronted with these truths, we should be cut to the heart and join the crowd's desperate plea, "What shall we do?!" The Good News: Jesus did it all! We simply call on him for rescue.

-Featuring Pastor Loïs
As we celebrate Pentecost, Pastor Loïs unpacks the promise of the Father, the coming of the Holy Spirit. He encourages us to have an open mind about the Holy Spirit as we seek to understand what the Bible teaches. Three spiritual signs accompanied this event as the disciples were empowered to prophesy in foreign languages understood by the multi-cultural crowd in Jerusalem. Today, the Holy Spirit is still working in the church. We see Him moving as we're bold in witness, devoted to church life, and empowered for holy living. The bottom line: Be hungry and thirsty for more of the Spirit of God!

In the final sermon of our series, “The Story of Redemption,” Pastor Bryan points out things Jesus taught his disciples before ascending into Heaven. He wanted them to know he was leaving them with his Presence in the form of peace, Perception of his Good News, Purpose in gospel proclamation, and Power through the Holy Spirit to come. We are to understand that we, too, have everything we need to joyfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world around us!

In today's sermon, Pastor Ray looks at the great character of heart of the widow in Luke 21:1-4. We must be careful to beware the scribes to not act like them, see the widow as Jesus did, and observe the heart to ensure it is fully surrendered to God. Jesus sees through the quantity of our gifts to the quality of our hearts. Our hearts should be fully invested in God, no matter our economic circumstances.

We can often have disappointed hearts due to unmet expectations but we mustn't forget that God is walking alongside us on this journey of life. If we have listening hearts aligned with God's will and His truth, we can recognize and know His goodness. Our hope is restored when Christ abides in us.

In this week’s message, Pastor Loïs asks us to consider the perspectives of the two criminals on the crosses on either side of Jesus. One railed at Jesus, joining the criticism of Satan by questioning the identity of Jesus as the Son of God. The other recognized the King and his kingdom. He was aware of his sin, of the grace of God, and simply asked that Jesus would remember him. The scandal of grace-- Jesus suffered in our place so that we could be made right with God and live forever in His presence!

In this week’s message, Pastor Ray looked at the Lord's Supper passage in Luke 22 where Jesus reinterprets the ancient story of redemption in the Passover instituted by God in Exodus 12-13. We're no longer to remember the Passover lambs; we're to remember THE Lamb of Redemption, Jesus Christ, and his passionate self-sacrifice for the children of God. In this week’s message, Pastor Adam taught about gratitude based off the account of Jesus healing the ten lepers in Luke 17. Only one, a foreigner, came to thank Jesus for his healing, falling down at his feet and worshipping him. That should be our response as we remember all that God has done for us. But more than that, as we come to understand who God is and thank Him most because He alone is worthy. Pastor Adam shares some practical advice on fighting against the enemies of gratitude and fighting alongside the allies of gratitude as we're in this spiritual war for our hearts.

We pray you come to understand these truths that are outlined in Colossians — Who God is and what He did for us. Lord, guard our hearts and minds from false teachings. Help us to lean into your truth.

Welcome to the Wrap Party!Join Pastors Ray and Roger as they delve deeper into the profound teachings of Jesus in our new series, "The Red Letters." Get an intricate look at the heart and mind of Jesus, underscoring the importance of unity, love, and glorifying God in our lives. Through a thorough examination of John 17, understand Jesus' prayer not only as an intimate conversation with God but as a prayer for all disciples and believers.
Reflecting on John 17: The Heart of Jesus ExposedPastor Roger narrates the essence of Jesus' high priestly prayer in John 17. He illuminates how in the last moments before His crucifixion, Jesus speaks about glorifying God, revealing His divine name, while powerfully advocating for unity among believers. Echoing Andrew Murray's sentiments, Pastor Ray underlines the premise that intercession remains the most perfect form of prayer. Jesus' prayer for Himself, His disciples, and us manifests His perpetual state of prayer and intercession.
The Trinity, Jesus' Teachings and the Role of the Holy SpiritOur pastors discuss the complex concept of the Trinity and the invitation by Jesus for believers to partake in this divine unity. Remaining connected with God through the Holy Spirit allows believers to become more prayerful and aware, leading to satisfying, purposeful lives marked by an enduring relationship with God.
Empowering Believers: Encouragement and Confidence in ChristPastor Roger provides valuable advice on strengthening faith and enhancing awareness of one's identity in Christ. He emphasizes the importance of revisiting Jesus' prayer in John 17, drawing pertinent principles and incorporating them into daily prayers. Uphold the significance of praying through scriptures while focusing on God's desires, not just your own. Remember that Jesus is still glorifying the Father through his church, and we are a part of this glorious worship.

"How can I be sure that I’m saved?" I'm sure that thought has crossed your mind. To live with no assurance or to live deceived, both are uncomfortable positions to be in! Is there a way to know for sure? John says in his first letter:
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of God, that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13)
Hang out with us as we dive into God’s word: He is light, He is love, He is true, and He wants you to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are His!

Maybe you've heard this statement before: "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” In the Old Testament book of Judges, Israel seemed stuck in a vicious cycle. In this series we are looking at judges of Israel who God raised up to break the cycle. As he did in Old Testament times, God provided a savior for you in Jesus Christ. By his power and the Holy Spirit within you, you can break the vicious cycles in your life.

In a world that demands our attention we often experience fear. But when you live your daily life with eternal perspective, you will live in such a way that glorifies God, walking with authority and resolve that dispels fear. In this series, "Above + Beyond," you will be inspired to look above and beyond this world and fix your eyes on God's kingdom.
Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
