Hello listeners! In this Podcast, I will be teaching you, how to make an amazing cookie recipe, very easy and simple, but also very tasty. I also reviewed some tips for the cookie to get even better, all learned from Granny.
You can also follow the recipe, which I will leave in the description
Ingredients:
- 1/2 (one half) cup of sugar
- 3/4 (three quarters) cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 (one half) cup of melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 (one and a quarter) cup of wheat flour
- 1/2 (one half) teaspoon of baking soda
- 110g (grams) of half bitter chocolate pieces
- 110g (grams) of mixed chocolate pieces (milk and white)
Try to leave the chocolate pieces not so small, because otherwise they will disappear and you will not be able to taste them.
I like chocolate pieces instead of drops because I believe they melt more easily and are more flavorful. Besides, it is important to use good chocolate, so that the cookie gets tastier. I also use half of the chocolate half bitter and the other half, I use the milk and white chocolate so that it is more balanced and less sweet. But you can also use the chocolate of your preference, be it a bar, drops; bitter chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, you decide!
How to prepare:
- Preheat the oven to 180º C..
- In a large bowl, beat the normal and brown sugar, salt, and butter until it forms a paste without pieces.
- Beat the egg and vanilla until the light yarns run out of the whisk.
- Sift the flour and bicarbonate, then fold the mixture with a spatula, taking care not to mix too much. This will cause the gluten of the flour to harden, resulting in cookies with a more homemade flavor.
- Mix the chocolate pieces evenly, and then let the dough rest for about 30 minutes. For a more intense caramel flavor and a stronger color, let the dough rest overnight. The more the dough rests, the more complex its taste will be.
- Remove the dough with a spoonful of ice cream and place it in a baking pan lined with butter paper, leaving at least 10 centimeters of space between the cookies and 5 centimeters of the edge of the baking pan so that the cookies can be evenly distributed and not stick.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are almost golden brown. Attention when they come out of the oven, they only need to be browned, because they will be a little soft. That's why it's important to let them rest a little and then take them out of the baking pan, when they are a little firmer and with the texture that a cookie should have.
-
- Let it cool down completely, and enjoy!
