A podcast about mini-farming, foster care, and entrepreneurship! Our lives are fun and funny and we want you along for the ride!
Today I chatted with Hayden Muller, owner of Autonomy Salon and Wellness. Hayden and I met at a farmers market a few years ago when he offered his scalp massage and reiki services to Brandon and I. I spent the majority of my Tuesday afternoons for the better part of a year with Hayden crying over hopes and dreams that weren't happening, asking for encouragement, and getting amazing scalp massages and blow outs. We laughed in this episode, we cried, and everyone needs Hayden's services!

Our first international guest!!! I spoke with Anna Pawlowicz, mother, and founder of We Are Human Kind-- an organization based in Denmark with a mission to, "We create social change by normalising disability through education and awareness."
We talked all things disability and it was really interesting to hear about inclusion and disability in other countries compared to the US.
Anna is an amazing advocate and you can follow her awesome work here: https://www.wearehumankind.dk/
For once I talk to my real life friend Kayla! We go to Crossfit Pushin' Weight together and talk about the gym, moving our bodies, talking about highs, lows, and buffalos, and piercings!
you can join us at our fav gym at https://www.crossfitpushinweight.com/ (not a sponsor but they should be!)
My new friend and yours Felicia Souz and I talk all things chickens and disabilities (including disabled chickens!!) She and her husband have several chickens (though I try to persuade her to illegally get more) and the importance of disability representation.
She and her husband have a podcast you can follow along at here: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/wewillnameitlater

Today I got the opportunity to chat with Lauren Henkin, the Founder and CEO of The Humane Space! The Humane Space is an app that encourages daily curiousity and finding moments of awe. Lauren has done years of research into this topic and definitely educated me and inspired me to get curious, ask questions, and find awe in the mundane.
You can follow along at https://www.thehumane.space/ or find them on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/thehumane.space/
Go get curious!
Meet my new friend Devra!! Devra and I talk all things tattoos, animals, the positive aspects of social media, and bad date stories.
Spoiler--don't tell us we aren't funny or laugh HA HA HA at our jokes.
Devra has a sweet sparkly daughter with Williams Syndrome and she wants you to go educate yourself! We love education and advocacy and fighting the ableist world we live in-- https://www.williams-syndrome.org/ Read about Williams Syndrome here!

Welcome back! I sat in my car in 70 degrees in a Kohls parking lot to record this episode with long time pal, Gaby Laurent! She and I went to college together over a decade ago and have been pals ever since. She is embarking on a new adventure of writing a memoir and we talked all things writing, parenting, accidental alien adventures, and we cried.

Well hey there!
We are back. Kind of. I decided last week I wanted to do like bite sized episodes with anyone and everyone. Just my friends and I chatting about whatever came up, no agenda, no plans. Brandon was actually my THIRD guest but I figured I'd start with him since you all know and love him well. He also was avoiding writing an English paper so enjoy this short episode where I ask Brandon questions he wasn't ready to answer. Enjoy!
I made Brandon do a deep dive with me into all 30 of the men for Katie's season of the Bachelorette starting 6/7! Brandon is a good human and didn't want to make judgements or talk trash about people he didn't know (what an angel!) so this is honestly fairly boring. We do think Hunter may be the type of person to eat people and we are unsure of Jeff, who is a surgical SKIN salesman. Our top picks are--Hannah: Andrew S, Cody, and Marcus and Brandon said Marcus, Andrew S, and John. We used the ABC cast list, which you can find HERE.
Welcome Back! We forgot we had a podcast because we went from 2 kids to 4 kids on New Years Eve and life has been a little crazy! We are happy and healthy and becoming adjusted to a family of six. In this episode we discuss Canadian pop stars, conspiracy theories, and answer questions from YOU! Ya'll asked some great questions and we did our best to answer them along the way. In the episode we also discuss our newest product, Chap Balm, and also our next product--elderberry candles! Thanks for all your continued support and listens ya'll!
Hey ya'll we are back! We forgot this podcast existed. This episode is all about foster care. Getting licensed, everything you need, all the paperwork and has funny excerpts from our 9 year old. We get asked all the time how to get licensed and what all is involved so we figured we'd share all we know for this to live in infamy! We hope you enjoy!
Helloooo! Welcome back after our accidental hiatus (Brandon was boring last week). We talk about how many new children and new chickens we have, exciting elderberry news, and Brandon's obsession with Dragon Ball Z...You've been warned!
If you want a tshirt that says If You Can Feed 6 Chickens...You Can Feed 27! You can get it here: https://www.bonfire.com/chicken-campaign/
We hope you enjoyed this very weird, as always, episode of Hold On To Your Elderberries!!
This week we give you some recommendations (The Unicorn on Netflix, Science Rules podcast & The Way I Heard It with Mike Rowe podcast), talk about our house going solar, and how our 13 year got two pairs of glasses broken this week. We laughed a lot listening back to this episode so we hope you laugh along with us. Hold On To Your Elderberries! Find us (Hannah) on Instagram @feedingtube.fitness. Yo! Welcome to the first episode of Hold on to Your Elderberries.
We are Hannah & Brandon Setzer and this podcast is all about foster care, having a small business, and owning a mini-farm!
Our lives are hilarious and weird so we thought we'd bring you along for the ride. In this episode we introduce ourselves, talk about things catching on fire, share about why we became foster parents and talk about aliens!
Believe me, I edited out a FIVE MINUTE rant about conspiracy theories--you are welcome.
You should definitely subscribe because I can promise you there will be no rhyme or reason as to when episodes come out! If you are interested in our elderberry products check out www.handcraftedbyhannah.com and follow me on Instagram @feedingtube.fitness.
