When did you decide to settle?

What events, beliefs, choices led to you coasting?

What changed from those excitable years when the world was full of endless opportunities, when anything was possible?

I remember that burst of excitement of possibilities hit me at the age of 16, there was a whole world out there waiting for me... I remember exactly where I was and who I was with when that realisation and excitement hit me. I know then I could have and do anything...

This excitement carried through into my marriage, and I was well into my mid-thirties before life got serious and I felt it was time to grow up. Trying to have a baby was a tough time for us, we had a quite a few miscarriages and when it finally happened it was an incredible time, but it changed everything; my belief system of growing up stopped me thinking in a limitless way and as a result I coasted and settled into a routine that looking back didn’t serve me or those around me.

In this episode I talk about why you might find yourself settling, and why doing so can stifle your desire for more and lower your expectations. I’ll get you thinking about your own life goals, and why it’s so important to always keep yourself aligned to your desires.

This episode is about knowing what you want and never settling for a life you’re not deeply satisfied with.

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

01:08 – my story

04:53 – your lack of desire and feeling stuck

08:07 – are you living the life you want?

Before that critical pivot in our business, we hit that liminal space of not quite an ending to our existing business or the start of something new, you’re on the edge of both.

Firstly congratulations, you’re about to upgrade your life and business in way that will knock your socks off, but for now this place feels uncomfortable, I totally get it...

I’ve personally fallen out of love with my own business many times. Every time I came out the other side a better and happier person, with a clearer version and higher profit hikes, but it’s that messy middle that feels so hard to navigate and that lack of direction that can really have us second guessing about ourselves, our next steps and if it’s all worth it.

I want to reassure you it totally is.

If you’re going through that stage in your business, this episode is for you, where I’ll be discussing:

00:55 – 15 years of evolving in my business

5:00 – creating a bridge from where you are now to where you want to be

7:35 – Embracing change and realignment

If this speaks to you, send me a DM and let me know what’s going on for you. And DM me over on IG at @deborahogrady and let me know how this landed with you.

Have you lost the art of thinking for yourself in your business?

Do you look to your coach for all the answers?

We leave our jobs to become self-led; to feel free and create from a desire to do what we want to do, yet so many business owners forget to trust themselves and instead rely on their coaches to make decisions for them.

So, when was the last time you trusted your own advice, based on a feeling?

In this episode, I discuss the importance of being self-led, knowing what you want, crafting and creating from within, and tapping into your intuition to gain access to understanding your next move.

It’s time to stop listening to others, to watching what everyone else is doing and to trust your most powerful asset in your business: YOU

You know more about your next move then any coach.

We all have a unique soulprint that we can access that holds all the answers for us, once we establish this connection business becomes easy.

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

00:45 –How as coaches you can become too dependent on our mentors

2:42 – My challenges of being self-led from a young age

5:00 – Establishing a relationship with yourself

8:38 – Going for it and leading on your terms

9:32 – My Self-led alignment technique that works

I've been in the liminal space of redesigning my own business, 'being' in the space in between to arrive a the place of new beginnings. Tune into this episode to find out what to expect and how as humans we're all yearning to create NEW.

What can you offer right now that feels true and good within your business? This is a question I had to ask myself when I was in that sticky in-between stage of no longer feeling aligned in my business, but unsure of my next steps and it felt uncomfortable!

But being in the messy middle doesn’t mean you need to press pause in your business. We can often throw the baby out of the bathwater so to speak when we’re redesigning our business, but we don’t need to burn the whole damn thing down.

In this week’s episode, I share my messy middle, and talk about the power of bridging from the old to new and how we can still sell from a place of integrity.

And how facing into the lack of love in your business takes real courage is actually something that should be celebrated as you shed the old and step into the new.

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

(1:20) Redesigning your business and the feelings it brings up

(03:50) My messy middle

(08:06) Embracing this stage and seeing it as a success.

If this speaks to you, send me a DM and let me know what’s going on for you. Looking back on my messy middle I wish I had talked about how I felt more and gained the right support.

Whether you’re writing copy for your website, emails or a full-on ad campaign, to create REAL engagement your words need to be your own. However, that doesn’t mean you have to write them. Working with a copywriter is a powerful process, and on this week’s episode I talk to launch copywriter Cassidy Dickens about how she’s able to write copy for her clients while honouring their unique tone of voice and brand messaging, and her framework to writing authentic copy that sells in a non-sleazy way.

Cassidy also opens up about her own uncomfortable journey from service provider to soulful entrepreneur, injected all of her into her brand and how, when we see ourselves without our mask, we step into a new version or ourselves.

We muse about surrendering to that in-between stage in our business, where there’s more questions than answers and we’re not ready for action, to emerging out of the unknown to aligned action, that feels 100% right.

What unnegotiable rules have you created in your business? Because you get to decide how you run your business.

Ever wondered why that sales system your coach told you to implement felt off?

Or why you turned that potential client down when you needed the cash?

It all starts with understanding your values.

And I don’t mean those three words that sit on someone’s website looking pretty telling people what they care about.

Understanding your values isn't a tick box exercise it's about understanding the person you are and how you want to live.

In this episode, I’m sharing with you how you can uncover your values and why they should never be authenticity and integrity 🤦‍♀️

I've seen huge shifts in my clients when we've uncovered their values, they’ve had that a-ha moment that’s helped them totally reshaped their businesses.

When we understand ourselves at our very core, it helps us with all sorts of issues we might be experiencing. ‘Not feeling good enough', ‘Imposter Syndrome’, ‘Comparisonitis’ to name a few, because when we know who we are we can feel secure in making our own decisions with an understanding of why we choose to live that way. And that will give you unshakable confidence to stay in your own lane, and create your own rules. 🎉

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

(01:17) Understanding what are your values rather than someone else’s

(03:42) How you uncover your unique values

(09:47) Identifying your most fulfilled and satisfied moments

(11:36) Translating your values into rules to live by

Does your business fulfil you? How would you answer this?

What’s the first word that springs to mind when you think about your work?

Do you find joy in your work? If not, then this podcast is for you.

In this week’s episode, I’ll pick apart the importance of play within our personal lives, and also in our business, and I’ll take you on a quick soul connection exercise to understand what you need in your business right now. (My clients love it to get back into realignment – and fast).

Playing energises us so much, yet it is often something we push to the side or dismiss as something children do. However, making play a priority in our lives can have a significant benefit to our soul and how we run our businesses.

We tend to burrow and cover our soul, not living our truest self. And this is something others around you can see. If you aren’t enjoying your work or what you’re doing, your audience will instantly notice this. Your work should be an expression of your soul and your purpose.

Our soul is a permanent element, yet we de-value it and place it under our warped perceptions of what we think ‘work’ actually is. By doing this we stop ourselves from living the way our soul wants us to both live and play, which in turn can have damaging effects on our wellbeing in all areas of our lives.

As business owners we’re constantly consumed by work, if you’re not in it, we’re thinking about it. We need to stop and appreciate where we’re at instead of the constant strive. success is based on feeling deeply satisfied in where we are NOW. Taking the time to slow down, shifting the focus towards play and understanding where you find joy and fulfilment will benefit your business in the long run.

Topics discussed:

(01:45) How prioritising play can benefit our soul and business

(04:06) How to define ‘work’ and ‘success’ in our business

(06:03) An exercise to help recognise how fulfilled your soul is with your work

(08:21) Applying what you learnt from the exercise to your business

My ability to channel is something I have had within me from an early age, but something I denied for a long time. I finally stepped into my truth and owned this gift fully only last year having mastered it with some of the best spiritual teachers out there. I really fought this gift, by testing it and not trusting in it, in me and my ability, but the more I surrendered the more I was able to truly see this as a gift how it helped me and my clients, where I could fuse it with business and brand strategy to master both the self and the soul.

In this episode I’ll share some simple techniques to start this journey into channelling and simple steps to connect into your wonderous soul.

I believe we all have the ability to channel and connect to our spiritual energy, but as we get older we resist this connection and live too much in our heads.

Channelling helps us to connect with our inner being and bring ourselves back to our true self. It takes time and patience, but once you feel that connection it’s something you’ll have forever and a mentor you’ll always have in your corner helping guide you to your true calling. 🎉 .

Topics Discussed:

(01:20) My early experiences of channelling

(04:36) How I started trusting by ability to channel

(07:08) Applying it to my everyday life

(10:34) How messages are often given to you through songs

(13:29) Why channel?

(15:00) What true soul work really is

Are you failing to connect with your audience ? It’s so easy to get caught up in the idea that branding is some routine process of posting on social media, writing copy and updating your website, but successful branding is so much more personal than this.

Your audience want honesty. They want authenticity. They want to see the real you, because you are your greatest asset, and you are the reason your business, and your brand, will be a success.

Your personal brand needs to start from within. It needs to be aligned with your core soul energy, and it needs to constantly evolve as you and the world around you changes.

In this episode, I tell you all about energetic branding and its importance in shaping your business’ identity, in a way that keeps evolving naturally . Having a brand that is aligned with your core identity is essential in achieving longevity and success in your business

I also tell you about my own experiences working for a number of blue chip household brands and how my views on branding have changed over the years while working with women just like you in creating successful personal brand that can scale.

Topics Discussed:

(01:12) The importance of aligning your brand with your soul energy

(06:13) The disconnect created from ignoring your inner-self

(08:55) What to focus on when creating the shift from your inner-being to your outer-image

(15:15) Tuning in to your vibration to benefit your brand

How do I differentiate myself so my audience know what I do? This is the most popular question I get asked, mainly because trying to figure this out can be a tough one, and soul searching alone won’t give you the answers; you need data and insights to position yourself in the online space so your audience ‘gets’ what you do. In this week’s episode I’ll be sharing my 20+ years' experience of working with big named brands, to explore why research is key to know where you sit in the marketplace and how you need to go through the same process to build a brand correctly, whether you’re a solopreneur or a well known household brand .

Market research is your eyes and ears, without it your business is built on quicksand. . so in this episode I zoom in on two simple techniques on how to find the data to be able to differentiate yourself in a busy sector and how this is a foolproof way to ensure its based on facts and not fiction. This isn’t about niching, this is about building solid business foundation with complete clarity, so you don’t create a confused audience, as a confused audience won’t buy. Listening to today’s podcast will help you, correctly position yourself in your market, and give you the tools you need to stand out and market your brand with confidence.

Being undeniably you in your business is standing truly in your power with clarity and confidence declaring ALL of you to the world in a whole new frequency that attracts an audience of buyers easliy.

Topics Discussed:

(01:51) Understanding the role your brand plays within the marketplace

(05:02) How rcompetitor analyisis will help you understand your hown brand better

(09:03) Using global market research reports to understand your target market

(12:59) How to use your research to differentiate yourself In a crowded market

"When there’s clarity, there’s confidence, and when there’s confidence, there’s visibility, and when there’s visibility, there’s impact and legacy and all the good stuff that comes with that.” In this episode, I am joined by a fellow truth seeker, Emma Tynan, founder of Emma Tynan International and The Channel Society™. Emma helps women become business luminaries, to uncover their power and claim their legacy through owning the power of their voice. She joins me on the podcast to discuss spirituality and coaching and talks about her journey of coming out of the 'spiritual closest.' Emma's word for 2022 is reinvention, and I feel we've all been through a reinvention in the past few years; I certainly have. Reinvention can feel messy when you're smack in the middle of it, but when you're out the other side, there's real magic. In this episode, Emma shares her own story on reinvention, how our wants are different from our needs, and that’s ok! Plus we talk about how you can start claiming your own life back and owning what you want to create real, meaningful transformation. We also touch on why in the coaching space, especially women, are killing themselves by obsessing about monthly financial targets, but we are ALL tired of this income-based marketing being the driving force. It’s dragging you down, and it’s stopping you from really living. So whether you’re a full-on spiritual queen or just dipping your toe into spirituality, this episode is for you.

Here are the highlights:

(03:43) Coming out of the spiritual closet

(08:14) The power of reinvention

(11:11) Why indulging in material wants doesn’t lead to long-term freedom

(16:27) Methods of coaching that create a more aligned energy

(18:46) Emma’s journey

(26:08) People’s ability to connect with their energetic capabilities

(28:00) The challenges of combining business and spirituality for coaches

Hello and welcome to today's episode of Undeniably You®, I'm so glad to be here with you. Today, we're going to be talking about the changing landscape of how personal brands are created and how to evolve your brand so that it can keep evolving at the same rate as you’re evolving as a human being with you. We can often work on a brand for six months, but on a personal level we are changing so rapidly that by the time we have the strategy, the visuals, the sales page, the assets, it's probably not as relevant as it was six months ago, we’ve moved on from that version of ourselves. We're evolving so fast because the frequency of the Earth has changed.

So dig in with me as I share three solid steps you can take today to create a brand that feels good and remains true to the person you have become.
