When I think of Jesus Christ I smile with joy. He is the joy of my salvation, and yours...if you know him!
In the book of Philippians, Paul talks about purpose and his life as a follower of Christ. What a story and
transformation he made. It is amazing what God can do when you get to know his son.
When I think of my own story of faith, I find a similar amazement. I had no idea whatsoever of God's purpose or
plan, but I'm so grateful that He had one for me. I didn't.
This episode will discuss how Christ gives us life we could never imagine. He is the fragrance of our lives.
We live in a busy world, and it gets busier by the day. Vacations are great when we can take them. But why should we take time to rest on a more regular basis?
The bible says that God rested on the Sabbath day. What does that say to us about resting since we are not God.
How should we approach this issue of rest?
Remember that old hymn, "I'm on the battlefield for my Lord"?
That's so true and appropriate. In life and as Christians, we are taught to never give up. Here is why this is so important.
There are several fronts where we have to stand strong and hold our positions. In the home, on the job, and on the battle field of the world, we have to manifest Christlikeness.
What does it mean to fight the good fight of faith and never give up?
Sometimes, we find ourselves in a challenging, fearful, or lonely place. What should we do when we are experiencing such a thing?
We need to run to our safe place. Where is this safe place you may ask? It is in the presence and arms of God. Yes, Jesus is waiting for us.

When Jesus Christ gives life, he gives us the abundant life. This life makes us new creatures, and allows us to live in the eternal.
We must die to this world, and all that the world offers. We must live for Christ.

Just because we do not understand certain things in life doesn't mean we stagnate or stop trying to do what God has called us to do. Why?
God has a purpose and a plan. If we stagnate or stop trying we give the enemy an opportunity to influence and/or hinder us from moving forward
in our purpose. Believe that you are confirmed in Christ, and loved by God. He is on our side--always and forever.
In a few days Thanksgiving will be here. Many preparations occur around this time of the year; it can be a busy time.
We will be preparing in our family as well with everything related to the season. It is so important though to be aware of one thing.
What are your most important priorities during this time of the year?

What is a memory lapse? It is often disappointing or even tragic when we forget something or someone we wanted to remember. But there is someone we should never forget!
No matter the situation or circumstance/s, we should always remember God. He is the all seeing; the all knowing God who thinks about us all the time. Even those times when

When it comes to inner struggle we need to learn how to talk back. What do I mean?
Sometimes, there is some sort of struggle going on in and/or outside of us. Things are not always smooth sailing like we would want.

We cannot live this life correctly without holding on to His hand. His hand will lead you to his word. Do you now what the bible says
about God's word? It says that the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword. It says that God's word
penetrates even to dividind soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Did you know that believers are blessed? That should make you smile inside and here's why.
Believers are blessed for believing. Yes, we get a super bonus because we believe in Christ, the Son of God based on our faith in him. He is our living hope. We have full confidence and fullness of joy in him.

We will also read from the book, Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young; and hear some of my poems related to God's grace. Afterall, we have a living hope, and all is well with us as we rest in him.

When a person graduates from high school or college, get married, or start a new job or career, we can certainly say that things are going to change for that individual.
Well, we serve a God who knows what to do in any and all circumstances because He is our light and our guide.

When we fill up on faith we do not look at circumstances but trust the word of God. Just like the car without gas, we believe that if we take that car to a station and put fuel in it, it will run again because the car has what it needs. It is the same with God. When our circumstances bear down on us or look bleak or unmanagable, we look to the promises of God found in his word. Trust God like Abraham did. Do not waver in faith because God will see us through.

If a picture is worth a thousands words, how many words would you say God is worth?
I was reading an article some time ago that had an activity attached. Since the article was about the character of God, the activity asked readers to use alphabet letters to describe God. Intrigue and interested, here is what I did.
Although we cannot adequately or fully answer a question about God's character because God is indescribable; and our meager words would be so inadequate, we try anyway.
Today we will attend our A, B, C's when talking about our Father and his character. This is a good episode to call in because you can give your descriptions based on your personal testimony of what God has done in your life, or just share your thoughts about what God means to you.
