For this episode, we’re joined by Hana Zebzabi (@hanazebzabi), a self-taught British Moroccan photographer and upcoming director based in London. She’s also the founder of Divurgent Workshops (@divurgentworkshops), a space for creatives to build their portfolio and network with like-minded individuals.
Hana reflects on the significance of social media in her career as a photographer, and we talk more about keeping it real on social media, forming new connections through the virtual world and the difference between London and LA.
Hana also shares more about Divurgent Workshops, taking creative risks, embracing her British Moroccan identity and the inspiration behind her new series and passion project, Not Your Girl.

Sharing their experience about social media with me is Josephine Gyasi (@josephine.gyasi) a Creative Producer, Director, Co-ordinator, Tutor and 1/4th of @clubdjembe, with an extreme passion for racial and social equality.
We had an honest discussion on authenticity and protecting your energy on social media platforms, clinging onto trends, finding the balance when running multiple accounts, and what we would do if it was the final day Instagram was around.
Thinking about getting off social media? For this episode, I get Rudy's perspective, a 3D design student who’s made a conscious decision to get himself off social media.
Joining me for this episode is 22-year old, queer, mixed race, UK artist, Ashton Attzs (@attzs_) whose work has been commissioned by the likes of Tate, Adidas and Universal Music. Ashton is also the bassist of Brown Belt (@brownbeltband).
We discuss the pressures of maintaining an online presence as an artist, their journey towards digital illustration and using social media as a way to spread joy. Ashton also shares their words of wisdom on pursuing a creative path.
For this episode, I had a chat with Gracie T (@djgraciet). Based in Sheffield, Gracie T is a DJ, trainee English teacher and co-founder of collectives and online platforms including The Beatriarchy (@thebeatriarchy) and Daytimers (@daytimers_uk). She also hosts The Tiny Okra Show every month. We talk Finstas to building community spaces through online platforms, and obviously much more.
