People hurt people. But did God Himself hurt you? Did His Son Jesus hurt you? Or was it legalism and rules? The 'Karens" in the church? The you can't do this or that. You have to do this. On this podcast, you will get to hear the experiences that my Jesus believing and non Jesus believing friends have had. It's them explaining what they believe in and why they believe in it. Some grew up in the church. Others left the church.
What started off as coworkers ended up in friendship. Michael has a major in psychology and a minor sociology. Therefore he is not a licensed therapist ( yet ). In this episode we talk about how great his mother is and how she impacted his faith. Michael had doubts and questions like many of us do but instead of walking away from his faith, it helped him grow.

Alley shares how her family being religious sculpted her beliefs. Grief usually leads us to seeking out God but in Alley's case it did not. From praying to everything and all things under the cover to not praying at all.
On this episode my friend Crystal shares her early start on stealing money from the Lord's House. How she has that kool street chorus cred. We shared our thoughts on death and how that happens.
Later opening up to how wanting to unalive herself lead to her wanting to live again because the old Crystal, The one that was lost and hopeless did in fact die. A new life, a fresh start was gifted to her.
