In 1901, one of the most popular (and populist) presidents of all time, William McKinley was shot and killed on 9/6/01, by a reported anarchist, who wanted to kill McKinley because of his stance on industry, production and tariffs. In 2016, America's "Silent Majority" was no longer so silent. In part two of this series we look at Norman Podorhertz, one of the main figures of the Neocon ideology and agenda. We look at how Podorhertz goes from liberal radical to conservative radical. It is this group that has led regime change and international conflicts on a major scale since 9/11 and spanning three separate presidencies.

In the great movie, "The Stuntman" an escaped prisoner (Steve Railsback) stumbles onto a movie set where they're filming a WWI movie. The director of the film played Peter O'Toole seizes the opportunity to use Railsback as a stunt man in his film. O'Toole and his wild production crew turn reality on it's head, as Railsback veers back and forth from his movie life to so called real life.
We look at some footage from a 2017 Ukrainian movie called, "Heroes Never Die" that sells the idea of war and patriotism through the lens of a Ukrainian war film that's part predictive programming, part embellishment of an actual event and almost 100% propganda.
We look at some scenes from the film and juxtapose it with footage from a bouncer from England, traveling through Ukraine, videotaping a lot purposeful looking sets and set ups, but through his lens, no actual war.

Charles Dederich was the founder of Synanon, generally regarded as the first rehabilitation system/center specifically for heroin addicts. Dederich, a an alcoholic who had found the gospel of AA and the sacrament of LSD through a study at UCLA started his first outreach for addicts in his home in Santa Monica called "Tender Loving Care."
Addicts began to show up at Dederich's group experience, including jazz musicians like Art Pepper and Joe Pass.
Dederich eventually coined the term "Synanon" and promptly incorporated it.
Addicts would show up, go cold turkey, and then eventually be brought into a process called "The Game." The Game was a three day, group session that would feature what was called, "attack therapy." This technique was linked to the North Korean technique of brainwashing,
Dederich eventually grew Synanon into a major financial institution, which ran afoul of the IRS. To deal with the issue, Dederich changed Synanon into a church.
Eventually, Synanon becomes a full on, hardcore cult, replete with an elite guard, who were charged with over 80 counts of violence.

Kamala Harris was an exotic luxury amongst the hoi polloi of Pacific Heights. On the arm of her much older and powerful paramour, the future mayor, Willie Brown, Harris was introduced to SF's old money families who adopted her as their rising star. Harris was a fixture in society columns, particularly The Nob Hill Gazette, where she was photographed amongst the daughters (and sons) of The City's most elite families.
