Hey everyone!! It's been awhile!!! I want to share a little bit about a project I've been working on. While much has been written about cults like NXIVM, Rajneesh, The Children of God and more, the experiences of Black women and femmes in these communities is often underrepresented or completely left out of the conversation.I've been speaking with Black women across the country about the ways race, gender, and socio-economic status make Black women susceptible to recruitment and the tactics cult leaders use to target them.My latest interview with Rev Sandy inspired me to make it a podcast episode. I hope you find it helpful!Rev Sandy is a Zen master in holistic living and personal development with a keen understanding of the special challenges of healing the self with food. She's been a Holistic Advocate for past 12 years. She says "I can turn the girl next door into the woman everybody wants to know."

And then I gave him a reading on his prospective new venture!!!
