Discussing jobs and life journeys with amazing people! Human of all Trades is intended as a space for sharing our careers and how we arrived at them. No two individuals share the same path to a given endpoint, and the journey is often the best part. Whether we followed an A-to-B trajectory, fell into a passion by chance, or discovered something more meaningful on the road to another destination, this is meant to be a place to share those stories. We hope to offer insights into careers for job searchers, support for folks considering a change in direction, and the understanding that none of us has made it this far without some bumps and bruises along the way. Selfishly, we just want to hear and share the stories of friends. Community is powerful, and we would like to both celebrate ours AND expand it. Come be a part of this with us!
Welcome to Season 3!!!
To start the season, I hang out in the back of a barber shop with Josh Lovell and talk about community, learning to handle business from traveling with punk/hardcore bands, and opening Heartland Barber (among other things). If you are in central Massachusetts, go check out the shop and get a great haircut!

Well it has officially been a year since we launched a podcast, and we are still having plenty of first's! For the first time we recorded live from Human Of All Trades Headquarters, aka my house. My talented, humble, supportive, hard-working friend Jason Zucco (affectionately known as Jay-Z to some of us) sat down and shared his work story that led him to commercial photography/videography, and all the facets of photo and video that he continues to embrace.
Check out some of his work!

My guest this episode is a nature-lover, brewer, baker, snowboarder, business owner, and friend, and known to to many very simply as "V". Vilija tells us about growing up in Brockton, Massachusetts in a tight-knit Lithuanian family, going to school to become a dietitian, and her ultimate path to becoming a brewer. Hearing her recount the challenge of opening Break Rock Brewing (which she co-owns and is the head brewer) during the pandemic is incredibly eye opening!
Check out Break Rock Brewing in Quincy, MA and try some of V's creations!
