Auburn City’s chief of police, Cedric Anderson joins Hoffman on the show today. Pastor and ministry director Trace Hamiter and current Christ Our Redeemer Seminary student Fuller Musselwhite join us on this episode to share their experience with the mentoring program and how it has brought a greater depth to their relationship. Dr. Gary Spooner is the executive director of The Owen Center, a biblical counseling ministry located in Auburn, Alabama. Max Beebe is a student in our inaugural cohort at Christ Our Redeemer Seminary. Randy Schlichting is the President of Metro Atlanta Seminary and a member of the Board of Trustees for Christ Our Redeemer Seminary. This helped cast the vision for a locally accessible seminary centered around discipleship and mentoring that became Metro Atlanta Seminary and subsequently resulted in Christ Our Redeemer being founded as an affiliate seminary under its model and leadership.
Michael Alsup is a Campus Minister with RUF International at Auburn University. Listen as he shares his experience in pastoral and international ministry. Dr. Joseph Fan is an Associate Professor of Forestry at Auburn University and a Pastor of the Chinese Church in Auburn. Courtney Rhyne is a former missionary and the wife of Christ Our Redeemer Seminary President Hoffman Rhyne. Josh Yates is the Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Opelika. Noah Kiser is the Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Opelika. Listen as he shares his call to ministry and God’s providence in bringing him to FPO. Trace Hamiter is a local pastor and network overseer of the Simple Church Network of Auburn and Opelika. He is also the executive director of All Things Ministries. The topic of discipleship has been a long-time interest for Trace and became the focus of his doctoral work at Beeson Divinity School. Drawing from that and 20+ years in the trenches of discipleship, Trace taught our course this Spring on Making and Training Disciples.
