This is a movement to take back the church from the progressive slide she has been on for these last several decades. These young leaders have decided not to leave but to stay, to stand and to be that witness for the faith once given to the saints.

An interview with Pastor Tim Parker, Associate Pastor of the Oakdale Church. Oakdale was faced with a 4 million dollar demand to disaffiliate from the UMC. In an amazing 5 weeks, Oakdale witnessed seeing what God can accomplish through their obedience and sacrifice! As of September 25th, God has raised about $1.55 million in cash with almost $1 million committed for the next 3 years! About 200 Oakdale families are represented in these numbers along with partners from around the nation. Tim shares an incredible story of displayed faith from the congregation itself as it faced insurmountable odds. It was just one faith story after another that allowed this church to meet the goal to disaffiliate.
An in depth interview with Rev. Mark Hecht (Presiding Elder) and Rev. Janet Lord (AWAC Conference Secretary) who have collaborated on a book of 25 stories and songs designed to help you not only remember those cherished times, but also to help you focus on creating new traditions for the next generation. Each chapter includes a Scripture passage, a story, and a link to a piano arrangement of a Christmas carol that Janet has recorded over the past few years.
