It vexes me when I hear politicians, the drive-by media, and parrots who haven’t done any research attempt to present a case against requiring identification to vote. The biggest argument against requiring an ID to vote is because it is a form of Jim Crow 2.0 (Jim Eagle, if you are Joe Biden), and it is a form of voter suppression as it targets people of color. The case is built on quicksand and the statistics, notably the recent census data actually shatter that talking point once and for all. In this episode I’m going to present the case for both sides and leave it to you to make the decision. After all, facts are facts and it’s up to you to determine if you are willing to see them for what they are because the reality goes against narrative.
What the hell has happened to this country? There was a time when the law enforcement profession was honored and revered. We recognized that members of the law enforcement community protect and serve in a job most people don’t have the testicular fortitude to attempt to perform. Police officers have seemingly went from heroes to the ultimate villains overnight. Tonight’s episode is my way of saying “THANK YOU” to all law enforcement officials who face danger day in and day out while trying their best to not become the next poster child for police brutality by politicians, the drive-by media, and activist groups across the nation.
A lot of what we are seeing go on in this nation is disturbing to many and there are plenty of people who will give you excuses and reasons for the disgusting behavior we are seeing on our streets when people are interacting with each other and with people in positions of authority. The bottom line is, it’s none of the excuses you hear like “white supremacy,” “racism,” “the system,” etc.; it all begins in the home. The lack of parents actually being parents and raising their children to be respectful of everyone is plaguing our nation and the result is found in the daily news. Maybe if we got back to being parents to our children and teaching them how to navigate life’s problems instead of being their friend, we wouldn’t be seeing what we are seeing on our nation’s streets.

Critical Race Theory is not a new concept but has been gaining traction and the attention of educators and politicians since the 1619 Project was published in the New York Times by Nikole Hannah-Jones in August 2019. The idea is that American society is fundamentally or “structurally” racist and it has been a mainstay in colleges across all 50 states and is making its way into the curriculum in K-12 schools and most parents don’t even know it. In this multi-part series, Critical Race Theory in Education needs to be discussed because many opponents believe this is indoctrination of our children; teaching, you are not a person. You are only your race, and by your race alone will you be judged.

The ‘Placebo Effect’ is a well-documented phenomenon in medicine, in which those who think that they are being given a new and effective treatment are more likely to recover than those who know that their treatment is nothing new. This phenomenon proves the mind is stronger than we realize; by maintaining a positive mindset, positive thinking, we are more likely to lead more productive and happier lives. Yesterday, Derek Chauvin has been convicted on all charges in the death of George Floyd. Chauvin faces up to 40 years in prison for 2nd degree murder, up to 25 years for 3rd degree murder and up to 10 years for 2nd degree murder. On tonight’s episode we are going to be discussing the reaction from political, media, and sports personalities as well as the collective sigh of business owners across the nation. Except, we now have the cases of Adam Toledo and Ma’Khia Bryant, two teens who were shot and killed by police.

According to the RAND Center for Military Health Policy Research 20 percent of the vets who served in either Iraq or Afghanistan suffer from either major depression or post-traumatic stress disorder. 19.5 percent of vets in these two categories have experienced a traumatic brain injury. These three service-related disorders alone have an enormous impact on the demand for veteran mental health treatment. There are a number of troubling statistics which show that enough is not being done and that many of our veterans are not receiving the care that they deserve in this area.

In continuing coverage of policing in America, tonight we are going to cover the viral video of a traffic stop between Army LT Caron Nazario and the Windsor Police Department and we are going to cover another story of slain New Mexico State Police Officer Darian Jarrot. The climate of this country is seeing a tensions at an all time high with police interactions and, unfortunately, people’s lives are changed forever.
