This episode features Pastor Joe’s first prayer meeting of the new year, where he teaches on the biblical meaning of prayer. Prayer is presented as more than requests made in moments of need. It is a command from God, a daily relationship with Him, and an act of humility and dependence. Listeners are encouraged to examine their prayer lives and realign their hearts with God’s will as the year begins.
Isaiah 40:28 reminds us that God never grows weary and His understanding is unsearchable, so we don’t have to carry life in our own strength or pretend we have all the answers. In light of 1 Corinthians 1, we see God’s wisdom and power most clearly in the cross, where what looks weak to the world becomes God’s saving strength. So this year we come to Him for strength, trust Him for guidance, and stay close to Christ as He uses ordinary, weak people for His glory.

Jesus clearly said that He came that we may have life and enjoy it to the fullest. There were no hidden caveats—He was not talking about this seemingly far and ahead afterlife we all long to get to someday but, instead, this * right now* life that we live.
