Embark with me, Chaplain Terry Warner, on a voyage through America's spiritual landscape as we discuss the Bible's fundamental impact on our nation's ethos. Proverbs 14:34 guides this journey, teaching us how righteousness can elevate a country, while sin leads to ignominy. Through the prism of history, we assess the pilgrims' pursuit of a world rooted in Judeo-Christian values, drawing from Gary DeMar's "The Case for American Christian Heritage" to understand the genesis of our principles. It's a deep exploration of how divine guidance has shaped not only our past but also the challenges we face as we strive to maintain this spiritual compass amid modern complexities.

Our mission extends beyond mere observation; as Christians, we hold a responsibility akin to following a GPS to navigate through society's moral quandaries. I share from personal experience, reflecting on my military oath to defend the nation's ideals against forces that aim to disrupt our Christian foundation. Addressing the geopolitical landscape, we turn our gaze to Israel, a crucial element in our Judeo-Christian fabric, and confront common misunderstandings about its role in the broader narrative. As the conversation unfolds, listen closely for insights on how our support for Israel aligns with upholding the values that stand at the heart of our nation's identity.

Embark on a journey with me, Chaplain Terry Warner, as we confront the profound moral shifts in our society and the urgent necessity for recalibration. In this week's episode "Recalculating," we delve into the powerful message of 2 Chronicles 7, exploring the critical decisions that have led us astray from the path of righteousness and godliness. As we dissect the seismic changes in family structures, the absence of prayer and scripture in schools, and the tumultuous debates surrounding abortion, we face the stark reality of our cultural and ethical voyage.

With the landscape of wokeness, cancel culture, and identity politics stretching out before us, we confront the need to foster disciplined living and reestablish the Christian and Judeo-Christian foundations within our youth. I argue passionately for the resurrection of virtues like delayed gratification and responsibility that seem to have fallen by the wayside in contemporary upbringing. This episode is not just a conversation; it's a rallying cry for courage in the face of societal challenges that too often celebrate misplaced values and heroes. Join me in this heartfelt appeal for healing our land and reviving the divine presence in our daily lives.

As we traverse the spiritual landscape, we also reflect on the importance of our place within the body of Christ—the Church—and the fruits we are called to bear in response to His selection of us, as illuminated in John 15:16-17.

The Problem Is Inside Part 3

June 19, 2023

Foundation Scripture: Luke 10:25-3

  1. The “Good Samaritan” from the Bible is actually about the Kingdom of God and how much God loves us.

a. We are to “love our neighbors as ourselves.” (Mark 12:31)

b. “…..And the second is like, namely this, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself.”

  1. So the “Person in Need” has fallen and needs help. And consequently meets several passerby’s who offer to help.

Passerby #1. – Confucius: Confucianism teaches a system of ethical and political philosophy that emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice, kindness, and sincerity.

The poor fellow in the ditch just needs to become more aware of how He can fit into society and then maybe somehow, someway, He can start His journey out of the Socialistic cesspool of the hole He has made for Himself.

Bottom line: He is still in the ditch and the 1st Passerby has gone on His way.

Passerby #2. – The teachings of Buddha are based on “Four Noble Truths.”

These “Truths” describe the nature and cause of suffering and the way to escape it.

The way to end Your suffering is to follow the “Eightfold Noble Path”, which consists of ethical conduct, mental discipline, and wisdom.

The Buddha also emphasized the virtue of kindness, compassion, generosity, and patience.

Bottom line: He is still in the ditch and trying to gather His thoughts while the Buddhist continues on His way.

Passerby #3. – The Socratic method of teaching is a thought provoking dialogue between an

Instructor and His student that will induce broad ideas and thought provoking discussion.

Bottom line: The Instructor has closed the class and left; Leaving the poor man in the ditch and an even more confused state.

Passerby #4. – Left leaning Politician.

The Poor man needs a government program so that He can be lifted up and out of His predicament. However, due to His ethic group, government funds being spent elsewhere, or someone else receives the monetary help He was expecting.

Bottom line: He is still in the ditch and deeper in debt.

The left leaning Politician continues on down the road.

Passerby #5. – Right leaning Politician.

The Poor man in the ditch just needs a “Hand Up.” If He will work a little harder, try a little harder, He can pull Himself up and even help someone else in the process.

Bottom line: The Right leaning Politician continues down His road while the Poor Man in the ditch searches for work.

Passerby #6. – Religious fanatic.

He tells the man in the ditch, He must have sinned and this caused God to be unhappy or displeased with Him.

He needs to repent; or maybe even perform penitence. How much or how sorry must He be for His disobedience is hard to define and may take some time to sort out. He may have to stay in His present situation awhile.

Passerby #7. – The Charismatic.

Name it and claim it is the way out. Start confessing and keep confessing until you have your desired result.

Bottom line: The Charismatic travels on down the road, quoting, yelling, and singing, His up lifting songs while the Poor Man in the ditch remains.

Bottom line: The man in the ditch is realizing His deliverance is going to require a higher power of authority than what He has been able to find in His ditch.

Passerby #8. – Jesus Christ, Reach Down and Take His Hand Today

"He has shown you, O Man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" (Micah 6:8)

It's Your Words!

The Problem Is Inside Part 2

(S3E24)

For 6/12/2023

Foundation Scriptures

Genesis 1-3

Psalm 8, All verses, but especially 4-8

  1. Genesis 1:1

a. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

i. How did God create everything?

ii. By Words

  1. Genesis 1

a. Everything was spoken first, before it came into a Spiritual reality, then some things came into a physical reality.

  1. Everything we do on this Earth, appears to be physical only. (Not true)

  2. Let’s back up and separate the Spiritual from the Physical.

  3. John 6:63-65, (63 “It is the spirit that quickens, the flesh profits nothing: the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.”)

  4. God, the Father could not come to the Earth so that we could feel, see, and touch Him.

a. Instead, He came in the form of a Man (Jesus) and since Jesus was divine and part of the Trinity and sinless, He is called “The Word of God.”

b. Now God, the Father could communicate with Man in his human (Physical) body. (John 12:49, “For I have not spoken of myself, but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak,”)

  1. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

a. Pay close attention to verse 19 – Amplified, “It was God (personally present) in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [Men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor.)

  1. So we see that it was the Father, working and speaking through Jesus, that was setting things aright so we could have fellowship with God.

a. Even to the point of grafting us into the Kingdom of God.

  1. We just established that everything has its origin and receives its life from Words.

a. Matthew 12:36 Amplified, “But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give and account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak,

Find out how to overcome evil and become a "Child of God" and live above the evil in this world.
God Is Not Your Problem, God Is Your Redeemer and Saviour.

Outline of Podcast Notes:

Podcast Notes (S3E23)

The Problem Is Inside

For 6/5/2023

1) Foundation Scriptures:

a) Genesis Chapters 1-3

b) Psalm 8 all verses but especially verses 4-8

2) Man, even Christians, are still relinquishing their authority in the Earth to Satan.

a) However, God is still the ultimate authority. (Matthew 24:35)

b) Man though, has relinquished his authority and continue to do so by deliberate acts or through ignorance.

3) God created the Earth and Heavens and gave Man authority over his creation.

a) Eve, was deceived by Satan, and ate the forbidden fruit, then turned and gave some of it to Adam who was standing beside her.

b) Adam was not deceived and ate the forbidden fruit of his own free will.

4) When that happened, all of God’s creation fell under the dominion of Satan from the throne of God, but not God, on down through the starry heaven, earth, and the under the earth.

5) Also, when they ate the fruit, they died. Not physically but Spiritually. (Genesis 2:17)

a) This made it difficult for God to communicate with Adam and Eve, and made it extremely difficult for Adam and Eve to communicate and have fellowship with God.

b) God is a living Spirit and since Adam and Eve had become Spiritually dead, they were not able to communicate with God. (Matthew 24:35 and Matthew 4:4)

6) So God made them some clothes, and then set up a system of sacrifices and laws, so the could cover their sins until God could get conditions and circumstances to where He could redeem Man and His Creation, and would reestablish Man’s original authority.

7) God could not revive Man’s Spirit that was not alive. If He did, then Man would be living with Himself and in an unclean or dead state walking on the Earth and incapable of being in the presence of a Holy God.

8) The earthly Man, who was dead in his Spirit, could and would not have or be allowed to be in the presence of a Holy God. (Who was a live Spirit) (John 4:24)

9) This required a change, or a new Spirit, to be born again. Not refurbish or rebuild Man’s old Spirt, but a Brand New Never before existing Spirit and would thus have no connection to the old sinful ways and laws.

a) Side Note – God’s law in the old testament was perfect but Man in His fallen and spiritually dead state was incapable of following God’s law.

b) Therefore, God in His wisdom, knew this and set all of this up until His Son, who was God, could come and redeem His creation, which included Man, and restore all things back to their original state. (Hebrews 1, John 1:1-4)

10) So, God sent His Son, as the final and ultimate Sacrifice, once and for all so that our “Spirit Man” could be created and restore us back to our original state of living and fellowshipping with God eternally. (John 1:12)

a) So, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savoir today and start living in victory.

b) Repeat this prayer: “Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner and ask you to forgive me and come into my heart. Thank you and now I make you Lord of my Life. In Jesus name, Amen. “

c) His Word (Jesus) will show you how and He has written down your instructions in
