It's natural to feel down every now and then - and let's face it, with the daily news being what it is, who wouldn't be feeling just a little bit blue at the moment? But when feeling a bit down in the dumps stretches on for longer than is what's normal for you, how do you break yourself out of the funk - and start getting back to feeling more positive?
Setting personal boundaries is hard enough - as in, learning how to say No, when in the past you've always said Yes, or being brave enough to disagree when you all along you've always agreed with people to 'keep the peace'.
Enforcing personal boundaries is even more challenging. The key is to get comfortable feeling uncomfortable - especially when you can sense people aren't pleased with your decision. Often times, when we're afflicted with the 'disease to please', we'll give in and go back on what we said we'd do just to avoid conflict.
Join me in this week's episode of Essentially Women where I discuss the particular discomfort of setting and enforcing personal boundaries.
What to do when there's too much to do and not enough time to do itContinuing the daily Love Notes to Ourselves and on Day 5 I talk about how we can often get so caught up in being busy we forget to check in with ourselves to see how we're feeling.
Every day this week on Instagram I'll be reading a passage from my book 100 Daily Affirmations for Women live - please pop over to @dawnquestcoach and either listen in live or watch the recording and do like, share and comment if you feel inspired, motivated, agree or disagree... I'd love to hear from you.
Have a lovely day,

Your One and Only True Voice and Why We Need to Hear ItContinuing the daily Love Notes to Ourselves and on Day 3 I talk about our voices - why we keep them hidden and how we can find a way to listen more to what's calling us and follow our passion.

Hi Lovelies,
Something a little different from me today.
Every day this week I'll be reading from my book 100 Daily Affirmations for Women over on Instagram. Please do join me there to watch live or the playback @dawnquestcoach - or you can listen in here on the Essentially Women podcast. This was recorded live from Instagram this morning so not my usual way of recording or my usual audio settings (including rustling pages - I'll fix that tomorrow!), but I wanted to share with you all today as it's the big V Day.
On that note - the reading I chose for today is apt as it's all about the love we give away.
I hope you have a lovely day - remember to be kind to yourself and, all that love you're giving away, remember to keep some back just for you.

In this episode I'm talking all about Imposter Syndrome - what it is, why we suffer from it and what we can do to nip it in the bud. I'll also share the 5 Imposter Syndrome "characters" - see if any of them sound familiar!
Are you guilty of being a little too hard on yourself lately? In this week's episode of Essentially Women, I share how negative self talk can be a 'no-no' for our mental and physical health - and what to do when we get stuck in the habit of being really down on ourselves and our "internal critic" just won't shut up!
Plus - my daily affirmation to help you be kinder to yourself today.

In this episode I’ll be talking all about mental load – what it is – why it’s apparently such a bone of contention for many women and how we can ditch some of the load and start encouraging our partners to share more of it!
Or is that even possible?
