Hi awkward little wave
So, we've been away and now we're back.
We definitely won't be uploading on a weekly basis but here's a super long episode where we talk about where we've been, what we've read while we were gone and what books we're taking with us on our vacation.
We also take a look at our pile of shame progress and tell you what we're currently reading.
We will be recording our next episode in August when we're both home from our travels.
Thank you for sticking around.
Love
Ellen & Sarah
Woops! Long time no hear.
It’s been a bit intense these past couple of weeks. Sarah came to Belgium as you may have seen on our Insta.
Then work got crazy and life just got away from us for a little bit.
But we’re back now with a sweet and short episode where we talk about some books we really want to finish in the next two months.
They’re books we’ve been in the middle of for some time.
Time to get some reading done!

Hi! Another month has gone by. It both felt like an eternity and no time at all.
Ellen got 6 books read, probably the only time ever she’ll have more books to talk about than Sarah who read 2 books in March.
In other words, she’ll need to enjoy it while she can.

Hi! Welcome to another bookish episode.
You may have noticed that we took a little bit of a break. Both of us were pushed out of our normal structure by a covid positive husband and roommate. We wouldn’t have been able to record properly so we decided to push the episode back. And here it finally is!
It was Sarah’s turn to pick a card and she drew the 9 of swords.
We went in different directions, Sarah focussed on the “fear of being alone” aspect and Ellen went for the “Anxiety, worry and depression” aspects.
Find out which books we picked!
And don’t hesitate to recommend us your own ideas.

Aaaaaand we’re back with part 2 of our book to movie adaptations list!
We have so many more titles to talk to you about.
We do know that our list is nowhere near complete, I just found out that The Flatshare is getting adapted too.
So there was no way we were ever going to get to all of them.

Hi! Welcome to the another bookish podcast episode.
We wanted to talk to you about some book to movie (or tv) adaptations that are happening this year!
Once we finished recording the episode we realised we’d been talking for a very long time.
That’s why this is only part one of our book to movie adaptations.
Next week we’ll continue on.

Hello and welcome to another episode of our podcast!
We picked the card The Lovers for this Tarot Recommendation episode because it sounded like it could fit well with Valentines.
But once we started looking into it, we quickly found out that it wasn’t as straightforward as we’d thought it would be.
Our recommendations also turned out to be a combination of (mostly) traditional romance and some gory alternatives.
Enjoy!

Hi!
While Ellen visited Sarah in Switzerland, many hours were spent reading. We decided to record one of our reading sessions and make it into a cozy little reading vlog. Well, it turned out to not be so little as it’s 45 minutes long but hey… now you can find out what goes through our brain as we read.
Sarah was reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab & Ellen read Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo.
We do discuss the scenes we’re reading so prepare for some minor spoilers (just to be sure).
You can find the video vlog here!
Have Fun!

Hello and welcome to another episode of our podcast!
Let me just take a moment to thank you. It’s so wonderful to see people find our little nerdy corner of the internet.
We love talking about books and we’re glad you’re enjoying our rambling.
Today, we’re bringing you the first segment of what’s going to be a series.
We pick a tarot card and then look for books that fit the meaning of that card.
I (Ellen) picked this month’s card and my tarot deck gave me The Star.
The absolute best card for this time of the year!
Why? Listen to the episode and find out!

Happy 2022 everyone!
We hope you got to enjoy the holiday season (and if not, we hope you were able to stay somewhat sane big hug).
The new year has started and with it the second season of our podcast.
We thought this might prove to be the most practical way to divide our episodes, a season per year.
But to start the new year, we first have to wrap-up the last one, so here are the books we finished in December.
We have so many things we’re looking forward to and we can’t wait to tell you all about them!
As always, we hope you enjoy our cozy conversations. We were feeling very rambly as you’ll surely notice 😀

Hi! Welcome to the last episode of 2021.
Of course we have to talk about our favorite books of the year.
2021 hasn’t been the best reading year for either of us. We both read less and the books didn’t stick as much as they usually do.
Anyone else feel the same way?
Here’s to hoping we get to enjoy a lot of really great books in 2022!
Fingers crossed, you do too!

In our first ever podcast episode, we were supposed to talk about the books that made us want to become writers.
Unfortunately, Sarah decided to skip the assignment and just talk about her experiences growing up ;).
This is what this podcast is going to be… chaos… setting out to talk about one topic and then changing it in the moment.
But don’t worry, we’ll always talk about books, both the ones we’ve read and the ones we wrote or want to write.
We hope you enjoy our cozy conversations.
Grab yourself a cup of coffee and join us!
