Early in Regina Dawn Akers’ spiritual journey, she received a series of journaled messages. She titled these messages "Holy Spirit Guides." They covered a variety of topics including this one: "You are a Student of Feeling Now." This was one of the last recorded messages in the series. This message teaches how to discern true guidance and allow that to lead you. She also reminds us that while errors will inevitably be made - it's a natural part of human learning - we can never make a critical error. Guidance will simply recalculate the route from where we are now. Listen as Regina teaches a powerful way to discern guidance through awareness of your feelings...specifically fear versus no fear.
In these 2 one hour teachings, Regina Dawn Akers shares from her experience about what is termed "the two evaluations' ' from the book, A Course In Miracles (ACIM). This teaching invites us to see that we are actually at choice about what we listen to and that there are always two choices, or two sources of narrative. One is from the Holy Spirit and the other is from the ego mind. ACIM teaches that listening to the ego’s evaluation, i.e., the voice in the head that speaks first and loudest, is the cause of all suffering. We often listen to that source because we have habitually and unconsciously allowed the ego to run our lives. There is, however, a second choice which is sourced not in egoic energies but from the heart, referred to in ACIM as the Holy Spirit. This voice offers a different evaluation, another choice. Listen as Regina teaches from her real life experience how to hear the Holy Spirit’s evaluation and how to more consistently recognize and release the ego’s evaluation.
