Hi LOVES!! We're back on the pod, this time, with a more fine-tuned, important message and guiding path. Have you ever been tired and overwhelmed of the harsh portrayal of the health and wellness space? You're not alone. Here, we're tapping into a self-led, individualized path of wellness because no one is the same human being - we all have super different interests, ways of thought, perspectives, upbringings...etc. All thorughout life we are taught to do things FOR others, listen to what others think is best for us, yet we neglect ourselves in the midst of it all. If you're ready to flip the switch and listen to YOU, let YOUR preferences and passion guide your way and make health work in your favor, you're in the right spot. I'm so honored to have you here, lets get into it, right here, right now!!
birthday episode! 22 things i learnt in 22 years. been a heck of a ride but here are some of my fundamental lessons so far <3
start small. Start now. One small change. One small act. You never know where that can take you.
The relationship you have with yourself is the most important relationship you will ever have
Learn to enjoy alone time
Confidence is just an energy game
Do not force anything in your life
Ditch the timeline
Rejection is redirection
A no now is not a no forever
9 No one really knows what they’re doing + there is always time to switch it up
10 Who you surround yourself with is gold
11 Getting out of your comfort zone and facing the fear anyways leads you to such great outcomes
12 Things turn out better than you would have ever imagined
13 Invest in friendships and they don’t have to be your age
14 Keep learning in whatever way that seems, keep an open mind
15 Don’t take things too seriously
16 Rest is a necessity
17 Only work for people who align with your values — do things with intention
18 Nothing is worth more than your happiness and mentality
19 Focus on the depth, the intention, the feeling, not the pretty and superficial
20 Consistency and showing up everyday regardless will take you further than you know
21 It’s up to YOU to create the life you want. No one’s coming to save you.
22 You have nothing but your health
We’ll panic when our phones are at 1%, but how often do we panic when we’re at 1%?
The ability to slow down and recharge in today’s society is…hard!! We live in a reality where we are judged by our accomplishments and how MUCH we achieve on the outside. Rest is seen as “lazy” and something “earned for” and when we do take it, we feel guilty that we “should” be doing more. In this episode we break down just WHY we need rest, how to reframe the mindset we have about rest, the types of rest and what it really means to rest. The only way to keep something sustainable, maintainable and high quality is to slow down, recharge, then go again.
Take your rest, before you think you need it loves!! Sending you so much love this week :)

in a world where numbers are everything, it’s hard to see beyond them sometimes.
chasing numbers isn't a bad thing - they can be super motivating at times - but when the intention behind a goal is rooted in a number, that's when it can throw one off. Do things because you love them so much, not because you’re being forced to hit a certain number. It'll come when you start to enjoy what you're doing, keep it consistent and let loose a little! That's when you'll see change.
I used to be so number driven in every aspect of my life, which tied me up into a box and placed so much unnecessary stress and tension on myself. now focusing on how much i love the process of my craft and taking myself away from the numerical goal has brought so much love and passion into what i do! So much freedom and ease after realizing this little mindset switch :)

Because even the wellness space has indirectly primed us that wellness should look, feel and be a certain way. It's not about being 100% clean every single day, obsessing over a single pillar of wellness or feeling the need to be doing everything the world tells you to do in order to be "healthy". It's more about getting in tune with yourself and having the awareness to advocate for you, to say "yes" to some wellness trends and "no" to others. Wellness, at the end of the day, should ADD to your life, not to take away and cause stress.

Hello!! Today we are talking all about excuses that keep you in a box of comfort and "normal", and how to break out of it. I share my journey into yoga teacher training and how I was the youngest and maybe the least experienced in the room, but didn't let that stop me from diving into my passion. I talk about reframing mindsets and taking a deeper dive into what your excuses are telling you. Remember that you have the power to step out of the excuses you tell yourself and step into a place higher than them. Once you pass that threshold, there is no limit to what you can acheive.

Sharing some of my biggest lessons learnt that have helped me navigate the world of fitness and personal training. From starting out from scratch to having a few months of experience behind my back, the first few steps are ALWAYS the hardest but FILLED with the most growth. Most of the time we hear stories from day 0 to day 300, but I want to share my steps from going from day 0 to day 90. I am still learning SO much on the daily and it is so fulfilling to see the clients that I have now progress and improve (really my favourite thing about being a trainer :)).
Let me sum them up here!
Just start
You’re going to start of clueless
You are always ON
Every client is unique
Every trainer is unique
Having your own self-practice is crucial
Coaches need coaches too
Confidence is key
You are not for everyone
You are going to feel imposter syndrome

From me seeing myself as a “problem that needed to be fixed” to 10 years later, finding a headspace that allows me to live as authentically as I can - here’s my story and the many, many ways I don’t fit status quo.
It took steps into musical theatre, voice lessons, ballet, yoga and now fitness for me to find what I stand for, my values and how I want to show up day-to-day and own that, be okay with that, and show up as authentically as I can with my decisions and daily actions. By no means am I “perfect” now, that will never happen. I am alwayssss learning and still have a long way to go.
Choosing to not drink and party as a 21 year old, not liking coffee, starting a business at 21 and my quiet, reserved personality are some of the MANY ways I don't follow status quo. It is tough to stand out and be questioned, but it is even harder to be trapped in your own mind, showered by the thought of wishing you could just live the way you wanted to.
I hope you took away a little something from this. Sending you all the love and thank you all for so much support! :)
