The Oldth Ministry Paradigm is a conversation about ministering to and with older adults.Rather than avoid the word "old," we celebrate it. We believe God values His people at all stages of life. Old is not a negative. While there are challenges that can come with aging, that's true of all stages of life. There are also many things to celebrate about the later years of life. We want to share experiences, ideas, successes and challenges related to ministry, especially related to Providing Age Resources And Developing Inter Generational Ministries. We call this the P.A.R.A.D.I.G.M paradigm (or Paradigm Squared).
An introduction of what you can expect from the Paradigms in Older Adult Ministry:
This is about having conversations related to ministry with, by, and for older adults in a local church setting.
The church in general is dropping the ball when it comes to older adult ministry. This podcast is being introduced to create conversations that can serve as a resource and inspiration for those working in older adult ministry, and conversations that encourage and challenge churches to pick up their game.
There are three ways you can be part of the goal of encouraging and equipping churches in their older adult ministries:
- Pray for us. Pray that God would use, shape and guide this podcast according to his will.

We introduce the Oldth Ministry Paradigm podcast in this episode. We discuss how the Oldth name came about, what Paradigm stands for, and our vision of creating both a community and a conversation where people engaged in older adult ministry can share ideas, strategies, successes, and challenges related to providing age resources and to developing inter-generational ministries.
