Hello,
It’s Clinton, the host and founder of the "Where's My Mind" podcast.
As a creator who passionately delivers weekly podcasts, I want to share an important perspective with you. Our podcast covers a wide array of topics, and naturally, the opinions and viewpoints I express are subject to evolve over time. This evolution is a reflection of personal growth, changing circumstances, and the dynamic nature of the world around us.
The adage, "the only constant in life is change," has been a guiding principle for me. It's crucial to recognise that perspectives on what is deemed right or wrong, good or bad, can shift with time and experience. As we navigate through different phases of life, our understanding and interpretation of various subjects will inevitably change.
Therefore, as you journey with us through each episode, please bear in mind that my opinions and thoughts, whether about current events or past experiences, are fluid and may transform as we progress. This openness to change is not only a part of our podcast's ethos but also a reflection of the human experience.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Warm regards,
Clinton

I speak about how they’re concentrated here. I try to put myself in the shoes of someone in a concentration camp and analyse what they might be going through. I also try to understand the minds of people who are so involved — directly, indirectly, or even indifferent — to what’s happening. I hope you enjoy this episode. Speak to you next week. I go through my notes and share all my thoughts about the crowd, the power of propaganda, and the misuse of the word fascist.I talk about the them versus us mindset, where the thems are Jewish people, gay people, people of colour, disabled people, and political opponents. And the us becomes a fictional ideal like being white, Christian, German, and straight something people believe you have to be born into to belong. The phrase that stuck with me while recording this was What if they attack me? That’s the fear I imagine running through the minds of people who hold these views. They don’t really experience the people they demonise. They experience the version of them that only exists in their head. This episode also explores the people who stand against this groupthink and what it means to resist.DisclaimerHello,It’s Clinton, the host and founder of the "Where's My Mind" podcast. A big sorry to everybody. The video files for this week’s episode got corrupted, which is why this one is audio only. But I did my best to edit everything, and all the videos I referenced in this episode are up on my YouTube. If you’re listening on audio, there’s also a voice describing what’s going on where visuals were meant to be.The research process for this series was interesting… to say the least. Fact is in — bad. This is the beginning of a five-week series. Every week, I’ll be unpacking a new block. This first episode includes the introduction and Block One: The Illusion of Normalcy. The upcoming blocks are:•Block Two: The Crowd, For and Against•Block Three: Alligator Alcatraz, For and Against•Block Four: It’s Not Happening to Me, So?•Block Five: What Would You Do?All of these come together to form the full series: Fact is in, bad.And the big question we’re asking? Is fascism really bad?In this block, I speak about:•The MAGA hat•The Great Replacement Theory•“Is White Really Right?”•The Catholic Church•The idea of the Aryan race (and whether Hitler even belonged to it)•Two very different people living in Germany at the same time but having completely different experiencesI end with this: maybe we all just need to interact as humans. Because the lives we live in our heads — that space can be distorted, even diluted. It’s not real life. We should experience life fully and see where it takes us.Thank you so much for listening to this week’s episode (or watching it, kind of).The videos I used for research are linked down below. If you want to read my Substack, it’s available now on The WMM Podcast Substack.See you next week for a very interesting episode.Everything I consumed while researching this: * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism https://youtu.be/zV4H4R3Y788?si=V6GIEjDrLngzBbx- * https://youtu.be/pyUQP-R48yg?si=eAOVuWhpTHxvQRh2 * Netflix series: Hitler and the nazis: Evil on Trial. This week, my mum joins me on the podcast. Not for anything big, just a conversation. We didn’t plan out what to say. It’s just us talking. I thought I might learn something profound about her, but I didn’t. And I think that’s okay. Sometimes you don’t need a big reveal. You just need the moment.
Today also happens to be her birthday. And if you know me, you know I post something for people in my family if their birthday falls on a release day. If not, you won’t see them. That’s just how it goes.
The audio’s a bit rough this time. The mic and camera kept cutting out. That’s why the edit looks a little patchy. But I kept it in because, one day, when I’m 80, I’ll want to hear her voice again. I’ll want to remember what this moment felt like. Jubilee and Grace (my little brother and younger sister) also pop in for a second. Their voices are there briefly, just because life was happening around us.
It’s not a life-changing episode. Not yet. But I think it’ll age well.
If you want to read more of my thoughts about my mum, the Substack is linked in the video. As for following me… do it if you want. If not, that’s your business.
See you next week.

Imagine The Level and Squid Game combined. That’s what The 8th Show is. Today, I talk about The 8th Show. It’s a series with different characters, designed to entertain people. The characters can entertain the viewers (the audience), and the more time they get, the more money they make, because they’re paid per minute. That’s what I speak about in the episode.
In the show, a hierarchy develops. The top four floors and the bottom four floors are pitted against each other. The lowest floor earns the least, and the highest floor, which is the eighth, earns the most. There’s this strange hierarchy, and I relate it back to something I’ve spoken about a lot on the podcast: race. I said in the episode, I think white people would be on the eighth floor, and Black people might be on the first or second floor. I’m not really analysing it too deeply, just sharing my thoughts on what something like this might look like in real life.
Then I talked about my TikTok from last week’s episode. I hope you enjoy the episode. I’ll speak to you next week.
Also, I might have a Substack soon. I’ll start writing things down on there, like tiers and thoughts, and the Substack will be linked on all my socials. So if you want to read more of what I enjoy, Where’s My Mind style, you can read my Substack.

I’ve Been Online Every Day for Four Years. Should I Log Off?
For the last four years, I’ve been online every single day. I genuinely can’t think of a single day I haven’t been. That’s wild.
It made me wonder!!!!!!!!!
What would it feel like to grow up without being chronically online? Or to have been online every single day since birth? I started this constant connection when I turned 18, and now I’m reflecting on what it’s done to me, and what it might mean to finally log off.
In this episode, I talk about my reasons for stepping away from Instagram, my on-and-off relationship with TikTok, and why scrolling feels like searching for something you know is out there… even if you can’t explain what it is.
If this resonates, leave a 5-star rating,
and I’ll talk to you next week. Bye.

I want to be transparent about this episode's release. While I recognize it's not up to the quality standard I aim for, I believe releasing it aligns with the core purpose of our weekly podcast. I could have chosen to skip this week, but sharing it as is stays true to our commitment to consistency.
I've learned an important lesson about breaks in content creation. Recently, I took time off from recording weekly episodes, and I can now see how this disrupted my creative rhythm. While taking breaks can be valuable for creators who have an established audience providing feedback, I've realized that at my current early stage of development, maintaining consistency might have been more beneficial.
Looking at this episode, particularly during the editing process, I can clearly see its shortcomings. However, rather than hiding these imperfections, I'm choosing to acknowledge them openly. This transparency is part of my growth process, and I'm confident that next week's episode will show improvement.
This experience reinforces that sometimes showing up imperfectly is better than not showing up at all. Thank you for your understanding as I continue to develop and improve.

From church interactions to moments at work, I explore what it’s like to struggle with social skills and the journey of navigating conversations when you feel out of sync with others. I also touch on my comfort in isolation, why it can be toxic, and the challenges of breaking free from it. Tune in for a raw and introspective look into how I’m working on improving my socialization.

this episode invites listeners to unravel the complex layers of personal identity and societal expectations. He reflects on the societal pressures and personal fears that lead many to wear a “filter” in their interactions, masking their true selves to fit in or be accepted. Clinton recounts his experiences from childhood, where he began to hide parts of himself to avoid judgment, leading to a lifelong battle with self-doubt and overthinking. Through honest storytelling, Clinton emphasizes the importance of breaking free from these constraints and embracing one’s unique identity, even if it means standing out or being perceived as “cringe.” He encourages listeners to live authentically, highlighting that true courage lies in being yourself despite external expectations and potential criticism. Clinton also discusses the impact of comparison and the importance of appreciating one’s own journey, rather than measuring against others. He stresses that moving to new places or changing environments won’t solve inner conflicts—real change comes from within. Join Clinton in this introspective episode as he navigates the complexities of self-acceptance and inspires others to find the courage to be unapologetically themselves. Whether you’re struggling with similar issues or simply seeking a dose of motivation, this episode offers valuable insights and a relatable perspective on the journey to authenticity.

Hello,
It’s Clinton, the host and founder of the "Where's My Mind" podcast.

Welcome back to "Where's My Mind," the podcast where I, Clinton, take you on a journey into the fascinating world of shifting perspectives. In this episode, we explore the intricate dynamics of how individuals perceive and experience life in unique ways.
Have you ever stopped to wonder how two people, when faced with identical circumstances, can have entirely different interpretations of the world? Today, we embark on a deep exploration of this phenomenon, unraveling the intricacies of perspective, empathy, and compassion.
As we delve into this topic, I'll share personal stories and anecdotes that illuminate the profound impact of shifting perspectives. From contemplating the lives of fellow commuters during my bus ride to pondering the complexities of human compassion, we'll dive headfirst into the mysteries of the human experience.
Throughout the episode, we'll also examine the various factors that shape our capacity for empathy and compassion. We'll discuss how upbringing, cultural influences, personal experiences, and even mental health contribute to our ability to connect with and care for others.
I invite you to immerse yourself in the practice of putting yourself in someone else's shoes, figuratively and empathetically. As Keanu Reeves once wisely said, "The simple act of paying attention can take you a long way." By the end of our exploration, I hope to leave you with a deeper appreciation for the power of perspective and a newfound understanding of the rich tapestry of human viewpoints.
Join me on this enlightening journey through the multifaceted world of human perspectives. Stay tuned for more engaging solo discussions on "Where's My Mind." After all, life is an ever-evolving story, and understanding others is the key to unlocking its many chapters.

The ethics of buying fakes raises concerns about intellectual property infringement, economic impact, and safety risks. Counterfeit goods undermine the economy, depriving creators of earnings and stifling innovation. Buying fakes jeopardizes consumer safety due to substandard materials and production processes. Deception and loss of consumer trust result from purchasing counterfeit products. Supporting counterfeit markets contributes to organized crime activities. Unregulated factories and environmental degradation are social and environmental impacts of counterfeit production. Cultural heritage suffers as fake goods devalue authentic artifacts and handicrafts. The fashion industry is particularly affected, devaluing designers' efforts and perpetuating unethical practices. Consumers are denied their rights, such as warranty protection and after-sales service, when buying fakes. The global trade in counterfeit goods affects economies, societies, and individuals worldwide. Choosing ethical alternatives, supporting authorized retailers, and considering sustainable brands are encouraged. Buying fakes perpetuates a cycle of harm, undermining innovation, and contributing to exploitative practices. By making informed choices, we can promote a more ethical consumer culture. Supporting genuine products aligns with values of integrity, authenticity, and sustainability. Let's explore the complexities of buying fakes and the importance of ethical behavior.

The phrase "hi guys" is a casual greeting commonly used to address a group of people. It reflects an informal and friendly tone, suggesting a sense of camaraderie and familiarity among the speaker and the recipients. The term "guys" is often used as a gender-neutral term for a mixed-gender group, although it can be exclusionary if there are individuals who do not identify as "guys." Overall, the phrase serves as a simple and inclusive way to initiate conversation or acknowledge the presence of others in a relaxed setting.

Alright, so let me tell you about my very first concert experience. It's a unique one because I don't think I'll ever attend another concert again. But this one holds a special place in my heart as the best concert of my lifetime. It's funny because I used to be a big fan of Beyoncé when I was younger. But before I share how I got introduced to her, let's go back to my childhood. My aunt was a huge fan of Michael Jackson, and I remember when he passed away, it was a sad time. There were rumors about Michael Jackson being part of the Illuminati, and my aunt was upset about it.
To introduce us to Michael Jackson and his music, my uncle bought a CD that had symbols associated with him, including the number 666. He believed that Michael Jackson was not a good person and wanted everyone to see it. We all watched the CD together, and it featured various artists like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Kanye West. It was interesting to see these musicians, especially because most of them were black artists. My uncle didn't like one particular symbol they showed, which he associated with the devil. In defiance, we all started imitating the pose, which was called the Baphomet pose. Little did I know that this would be my first introduction to Beyoncé.
As I grew older, I started listening to more musicians, including Beyoncé. Despite my initial reservations, I found myself enjoying her music. Fast forward to the present, and I can tell you that my playlist mainly consists of artists like Jack Harlow, The Weeknd, and Rosalía. Beyoncé still holds a special place among my favorite musicians, even though I've expanded my taste.
A few months ago, Beyoncé announced a world tour, and it was a big deal. I didn't actively follow celebrity news, so I didn't know about it until a coworker mentioned it. Surprisingly, my coworker had an extra ticket and offered it to me. I initially hesitated because I'm more comfortable in my safe space, but I realized that growth happens when we step out of our comfort zone. I accepted the invitation and started looking forward to the concert.
However, as the concert approached, I found myself feeling lazy and unmotivated. I even considered not going because I felt uncomfortable about being in a crowded place alone. The thought of sitting alone while people looked at me made me anxious. But after reflecting on my progress in managing my anxiety, I decided to push through and attend the concert.
And so, I went for the concert. It was a week before my finals, and I wasn't in the best mindset. But I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity. I had some reservations, but I was determined to make the most of it.

From the moment we are born, we are constantly being watched. Our parents and family members observe our every move and milestone, marvelling at our growth and development. As we grow older, our circle of watchers expands to include peers, teachers, coworkers, and even strangers. In the age of social media, our audience can extend to millions of people around the world. This fact can be both a blessing and a curse, motivating us to be our best selves or overwhelming us with anxiety.
On the one hand, being watched can motivate us to work harder and strive for success. Knowing that our actions and accomplishments are being noticed and appreciated by others can give us a sense of validation and purpose. It can also encourage us to be more accountable for our actions and to make better decisions. When we have an audience, we are more likely to put in the extra effort and go above and beyond what is expected of us.
On the other hand, the pressure of being constantly observed can be overwhelming. We may feel like we are always under a microscope, that any mistake or misstep will be scrutinised and judged by others. This can lead to anxiety, self-doubt, and a fear of failure. We may become overly concerned with our appearance, behaviour, and public image, to the point where we lose sight of our true selves. This can be especially challenging in the age of social media, where every post or comment can be seen by millions of people.
The reality is that we cannot control the fact that people are always watching us. However, we can control how we respond to this fact. Instead of letting it consume us with anxiety or ego, we can use it as an opportunity to grow and learn. One way to do this is to focus on our personal values and goals. When we have a clear sense of what we stand for and what we want to achieve, the opinions of others become less important. We can use their feedback as a way to improve and refine our approach, but we don't need to let it define us.
Another way to cope with the pressure of being watched is to develop a healthy sense of self-esteem. When we believe in ourselves and our abilities, we are less likely to be swayed by external opinions or validation. We can take constructive criticism in stride, without letting it shake our confidence. It's important to remember that everyone has their own insecurities and struggles, and that no one is perfect. By embracing our imperfections and being kind to ourselves, we can cultivate a stronger sense of self-worth and resilience.
Finally, it's important to remember that we are all human and we all make mistakes. It's okay to stumble or fall, as long as we get back up and keep moving forward. The people who truly matter in our lives will support us through our failures and celebrate our successes, no matter what. We should surround ourselves with people who uplift and inspire us, and who encourage us to be our best selves.
In conclusion, people are always watching us, whether we like it or not. This can be a source of motivation or stress, depending on how we choose to respond. By focusing on our personal values and goals, developing a healthy sense of self-esteem, and accepting our imperfections, we can navigate the pressures of being watched with grace and resilience. Let us stop reacting and start responding in a positive manner to make the most out of this reality.

The Met Gala, also known as the Met Ball, is a highly anticipated annual event that is considered the most prestigious fashion event in the world. The gala is held to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City and is organized by Vogue. The event features a star-studded guest list of celebrities from various professional fields, including fashion, film, television, music, and politics.
The Met Gala has a rich history dating back to 1948 when it was established by fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert as a fundraiser for the newly founded Costume Institute. Over the years, the event has grown to become one of the biggest fundraising nights in New York City, raising millions of dollars for the museum.
Each year, the Met Gala is held on the first Monday of May, except for in 2020 when it was cancelled due to the pandemic and in 2021 when it was held in September. This year's gala will take place on May 1st, and the theme for the event is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty."
Karl Lagerfeld was a renowned German fashion designer, creative director, artist, and photographer. He was known for his signature white hair, black sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and high, starched collars. Lagerfeld was the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, the Italian fur and leather goods fashion house Fendi, and his own eponymous fashion label.
Since I started watching the Met Gala, I have seen a range of themes, including "Art of the In-Between" in 2017, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" in 2018, "Camp: Notes on Fashion" in 2019, and "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion" in 2021. In 2022, the theme was "In America: An Anthology of Fashion," and in 2023, it will be "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty."
The Met Gala is an invite-only event, and celebrities do not pay to attend. However, designers often dress celebrities for the event, and the fashion industry sponsors the gala.
The event itself is shrouded in secrecy, and guests must abide by a no-phone policy. However, it is known that the evening includes a high-profile performance and a dinner. Guests also have the opportunity to explore the exhibition before sitting down for dinner.
In short, the Met Gala is a highly anticipated event that brings together the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and culture to support the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. With its rich history and prestigious reputation, the Met Gala continues to be one of the most significant fashion events in the world.

Hi, I'm Clinton and welcome back to Where's My Mind Podcast. In this episode, I want to address last week's episode where I talked about my anger and frustrations towards myself and my goals, including my weight loss goal. Since then, I've learned to give myself grace and not be too strict with myself. I'll provide an update on my progress in two months.
Now, let's get into today's topic - p0rn. Before I continue, I want to clarify that my podcast is clean and I won't be using explicit language in this episode. I'll be discussing 0nlyFans, which to me, is like modern-day sex work. While I won't judge anyone who does 0nlyFans, I do tend to judge myself more than others.
I'll share a recent experience where someone I was walking with expressed their opinion on 0nlyFans, and it got me thinking about society's perception of p0rn and sex work. I'll delve into my thoughts on the topic and how my perspective has evolved over time.
So, join me in this thought-provoking discussion on p0rn, 0nlyFans, and societal norms. I'll share my insights and reflections on this controversial topic, and hopefully, it will spark some meaningful conversations and reflections for you as well. Thanks for tuning in to Where's My Mind Podcast!
Setting goals is an essential step towards taking control over one's life. A goal is a specific target that an individual aspires to achieve. It can be related to any aspect of life, such as personal, professional, health, or financial. Goals help individuals to focus their efforts and energies towards achieving a desired outcome. By setting achievable goals, individuals can take control of their lives and make progress towards their desired future.
Taking control over one's life involves a willingness to take responsibility for one's actions and decisions. This means that individuals must have a clear understanding of what they want to achieve and how they will accomplish their goals. Setting realistic and achievable goals is the first step towards taking control of one's life. Goals provide a sense of direction and purpose, which can help individuals to stay motivated and focused.
To take control of one's life, individuals must identify their strengths and weaknesses. This involves an honest evaluation of one's skills, abilities, and limitations. Once individuals have identified their strengths and weaknesses, they can set goals that are aligned with their strengths and work on improving their weaknesses. This can help individuals to overcome obstacles and challenges that may arise on their journey towards achieving their goals.
It is important to note that setting goals is not enough; individuals must take action to achieve their goals. This involves creating a plan of action, breaking down the goal into smaller achievable steps, and working towards these steps consistently. Regularly reviewing progress towards goals and making adjustments as necessary is also crucial to success.
In conclusion, setting goals and taking control over one's life is an ongoing process that requires effort, dedication, and commitment. By setting achievable goals, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and taking action towards achieving these goals, individuals can take control of their lives and create the future they desire. Taking control over one's life is empowering and can lead to greater happiness, success, and fulfillment.
Many of us have heard the saying "a leopard can't change its spots", implying that once someone has certain traits or habits, they're set in their ways and unable to change. However, I believe that change is a constant and natural part of life, and that people are capable of changing themselves for the better.
In fact, we see examples of people changing all the time, whether it's someone overcoming an addiction, changing their career path, or simply working on personal growth and development. The chances of people changing are real, and I believe that anyone can change if they truly want to and are willing to put in the effort.
In this episode, I will explore the science behind personal change and discuss the different factors that can influence someone's ability to change. So, if you've ever wondered whether people can truly change, tune in to this episode and join the conversation.
Hello and welcome to where’s my mind podcast, where I'm going to provide some insight into my mind. Today, I want to talk about a few topics that have been on my mind lately.
Firstly, overthinking is something that I struggle with. It's easy to get caught up in our own thoughts and create scenarios that may never happen. Overthinking can lead to anxiety and self-doubt, but I've been working on practicing mindfulness to help manage these thoughts.
Self-judgment is another topic that I've been reflecting on. I often find myself being overly critical of myself and comparing myself to others. However, I've learned that it's important to be kind and compassionate to ourselves, just as we would be with our loved ones.
People-pleasing is another behavior that I've been trying to work on. It's easy to want to make everyone happy, but it's important to remember that we can't please everyone. I'm learning to set boundaries and prioritize my own needs, even if it means disappointing others.
Feeling self-doubt is a common feeling for many of us, but I've been working on building my self-confidence. I remind myself of my strengths and accomplishments, and try to focus on my own journey rather than comparing myself to others.
Being peaceful with myself is something that I strive for every day. It's important to practice self-care and take time for myself to recharge and reset.
My inner child is a part of me that I've been trying to reconnect with. I think it's important to remember the things that brought us joy and excitement as children, and to incorporate them into our lives as adults.
I've been asking myself if I'm genuine in my interactions with others. It's important to be authentic and true to ourselves, even if it means being vulnerable.
Growing up rich and living poor as an adult has been a unique experience for me. It's taught me the value of hard work and determination, and has given me a different perspective on life.
I've struggled with not being happy with myself at times, but I've learned that self-acceptance is key. We can't change who we are, but we can work on becoming the best version of ourselves.
Wishing that my life went a different way is something that I've thought about, but I've realized that every decision we make, even not choosing, is still a choice. We can learn from our past experiences and use them to shape our future.
I've been feeling like I have nothing to look forward to, but at the same time, everything to look forward to. It's important to focus on the present moment and the opportunities that are in front of us.
My faith in God is something that brings me comfort and strength. It's a reminder that we're not alone in this world and that there's a bigger plan beyond our own understanding.
That's it for today's episode. Thank you for tuning in and joining me on this journey into my mind. I hope that some of the topics I've discussed today have resonated with you
