No man is a lone island, that's part of God's design. He saw it fit for us to be unified in interdependency such that what we have is a resource for someone else.
God has given us assignments to fulfill the mandate of establishing His kingdom here on the earth. Are you in your rightful place to carry that out? Are you in position?
The goal of this podcast is to equip you with what you need to get in alignment with God's will. It's time to take your rightful place, people are connected to the fulfillment of your assignment.
Suffering is something that has been repeatedly highlighted to me over the past couple months. What really is suffering as a tool in God's hand? Why do believers have to endure this horrid experience? Why are we expected to be partakers in suffering? How does suffering work in my favour? The questions could keep on coming. Well, in today's post, I share a few of the lessons I've learnt on suffering, and why this is a believer's cross.
My hope with sharing this is to help you reframe your suffering: Past, present and future experiences. Being able to see things through God's lens can change everything. In getting to know God's heart on the matter, it is my prayer that you are encouraged, fuelled with hope and submitted to God and the process He has you in, while you wholeheartedly trust and believe that He will come through for you. If you love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose, it can ONLY work for your good.

Today's post is a little different! We're in Bible Story mode, and I have to say, we may have to do more of these. We're talking about the help of God, and the hinderances to receiving His help as we study the life of a man in the Bible who once had God's help, then turned from it.
There was a verse that I could not get out of my head. I was intrigued by it, so I decided to do a deeper dive into the context and wow. It opened up to me in a powerful way. The value of the help of God cannot be overstated, but many of us miss out on it. Today's blog goes into why we miss His helping hand, and what to do to make sure we leverage the advantage we have.

As believers, we know that one of the mandates we have is to be fruitful. When we are not producing fruit in any area of our lives, it feels unsettling and that's because part of our design is growth. However, with an incomplete understanding of the order of God's instruction to us, we are susceptible to becoming fixated on the fruit and neglecting the father. In the process, we set up yet another idol.
Recently, in a bout of frustration, I was praying against unfruitfulness and while this is an amazing noble prayer to pray, I sensed a check in my spirit. We often wonder why it seems like our efforts are not producing fruit, but they often are. I was learning something new about fruit, and today I get to share that with you.
Suffice to say that over the course of the last few weeks, my perspective has massively shifted as my eyes have been opened to the truth that the 'fruit' we are often fixated on is not always the fruit our Father(God) is developing.
I hope today's episode blesses you, and I hope it encourages you. It did both for me. Maybe the frustration your feel is not due to unfruitfulness. Maybe it's simply because you've been fixated on the wrong fruit.

It’s a fact of reality that some of your valley moments will coincide with the mountain moments of people in your life. You may have had times where you watched God come through for someone else in the same way you desired Him to come through for you. Maybe that was as it pertains to healing. Or a relationship. Or a job offer, you name it. How do you handle watching God deliver on the same prayer you prayed for yourself, for others that without feeling cheated, bitter or neglected? How do you stay grateful? We all have a testimony - it may not be the one you wanted, but it’s probably the one you need. Don’t lose sight of that.
This is an old blog post(written) that I felt the tug to bring right back around. This time you get the audio version. I get quite transparent here, and a bit vulnerable, but I know it’s needed. I pray it blesses you.

What are you thinking about? What do you find yourself consistently thinking about? The power of meditation cannot be overemphasized, but I think it's often overcomplicated. Well, in today's audio blog, we break it down to everyday life, down to a concept as simple as bonding over movie watching... yeah, it can be that simple.
This audio blog is a drop in the bucket of the full Podcast episode - EP19 titled 'Meditations of the heart || Think about what you're thinking about', and if you haven't already, I strongly reccomend listening to that as well. However, in the meantime, here's a little bitesize wisdom to wet your appetite. Enjoy!

Are you keenly aware of just how central your thoughts are to the trajectory of your life? Does the idea of meditation sound abstruse to you? I guarantee you, it's a much simpler concept than many think. If the image that came to your mind is of a person with legs crossed, spine straightened, fingers pursed humming in the face of the sun... then let me be the one to let you know, it's not that deep. And at the same time, it is. We all meditate daily, the question is - on what? Well, let's talk about it.
The key to living the life you desire, the life God desires for you requires a thought life that aligns with the Mind of Christ. For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. In today's episode, we dive into the things that occupy our minds vs what should occupy our mind. And we define what our meditations should be according to the Word of God.
I pray today's episode blesses you!

Welcome! Teelatable is my blog which has been running for quite some time now. I'm sharing with you what the Lord has been speaking to me, for you and I. More recently, I've been adding an audio component to each post to provide a more convenient option to get the message across. This is particularly helpful if you happen to be a non-reader, or simply have too much of a busy calendar to read yet another post. Now you get to multitask.
This has been a long time coming! From now, audio blogs will be integrated unto this platform as led. These episodes will be significantly shorter than a podcast episode, but this does not make it any less potent. My prayer is that this is a space where you always meet God. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Lock in, and Let the Lord Speak to you.
If you prefer to read, or would like to read along with the audio, the written post will be on the website. Check it out here!

In today's episode, we dive into the significance of walking authentically. In tandem, we touch on related topics like "self-love", "people-pleasing", "handling praise" and how they all tie in with the call to live honestly and authentically.
Do you know that there is a glory to be expressed through you? God, being the artist that He is, has poured His creativity into a range of artworks; you and I. Every piece tells a story, and every piece gives can give Him glory because it reveals another expression of Himself and His creativity.
When you hide your authentic self, you rob God of glory because you are hiding His art. And His art, my dear friend, deserves to be seen so that men can inquire about the artist. This is why it is also important that though you do not absorb the praises of men, you do not deflect them either. You must acknowledge and redirect, give God the praise that He is worthy of. Let's talk about it!

Most christians are not strangers to the potency of the tongue. Majority of us know Prov 18:21, and we quote it regularly, yet I've realized there's a whole lot to it than many of us know. It's not just about wishful thinking, amiss affirmations, or "manifesting" what you want to see... it's about partnering with God, aligning with His will in both heart and speech. Only then would your life bear worthy fruit.
In today's episode, we dive into some Bible stories looking through the lens of words and divine intervention, a perspective you may or may not have heard before. Of course there are a couple laughs here and there. And we tie it together with a poem, over a decade old, that still rings true today.
The goal and prayer is that you are not just impressed by this episode, but that your mind is renewed and subsequently, your heart is transformed. I pray that you do not hear me speak, but you hear the Holy Spirit speak to you. Don't just listen, let the Holy Spirit convict you and as soon as He highlights covenants you entered, professions you made that are out of His will and things you came into agreement with out of ignorance, it's time to Repent, Revoke, Renounce, and Recant. The blood of Jesus is able to blot it all out, use it.

We're back y'all!
In today's episode, I share a fairly recent revelation I got about vices. I've learnt that subconsciously, there is a thought process that causes us to pick up a vice. And while it may appear to be harmless, it's actually a lot more destructive than it presents itself to be.
This is not an abstract episode, I'm sharing my own experience, and so there's a bit of story telling. God sees you, there is not a single tear you've shed that He was oblivious to. I know Him to be El roi - the God that sees me. At the end of this episode, you'll come to realize that the real need you have is at the feet of Jesus, and patience is required to acquire it. Jesus will not only soothe you, He'll heal you, according to His will, if you let Him.
I pray this episode blesses you!

We know that God has given us the desire and power to do what pleases Him because He told us, but not only that, the Holy Spirit within us bears witness. So how is it then that many of us still fall short when it comes to working out our salvation despite the fact that we've been equipped for every good work? Something's missing - discipline.
It's not enough to have the desire and power if we don't actually DO the work. It's almost like having a car with a full tank...with the engine off. If the gas in your tank is going to be of benefit to you, you've got to move.
Prior to recording this episode, when I ran through the fruit of the spirit highlighted in Gal 5:22-23, self-control/self-discipline jumped right out at me. I realized I had been so used to viewing that as the ability to stop myself from doing certain things that indulge the flesh. I hadn't quite thought about the fact that control comprises of what you DO do and what you DON'T do. Needless to say, I've got some major work that needs to be done in this area.
Holy Spirit made it clear to me that it's actually a deeper issue. Any area that I lack self-control(as with any other fruit of the spirit) is an area that is not fully yielded to God. Ouch, I know. It's a hard pill to swallow but it makes all the sense. When the Holy Spirit is leading and ruling, there is no choice but to bear its fruit.

In today's episode, we talk about shame and how the enemy desperately tries to convince us that we are defined by our mistakes. I know for certain that most of us have found ourselves succumbing to the lie of condemnation at some point in our lives but it doesn't stop there. Not only is this a pathway to self-sabotage, our adversary will also try to draft us into war against peace by convincing us to also define others by their mistakes.
This is the very thing our saviour came to free us from, the bondage of our sins - He saw someone worthy of saving, despite the filth we were clothed in that is sin. Seeing things through our heavenly father's lens, we see that the only reason we're actually where we are today, saved and redeemed, is because of The Lord's ability and intentionality to not define us by our sins.
So what does it mean to see people the way God sees them? Does it mean you do not see their errors? Absolutely not. It does mean you see them, imago dei, inspite of their errors. It means you learn how to fight for Justice AND Mercy. It means you learn to see sin AND a son.
I put myself out there once again with today's episode. I pray that whoever the transparency and the vulnerability in this was meant to help heal will not miss this message.

This episode was recorded much earlier in the year but the message remains as potent as it was then.
For some context : This year has most definitely been the year I've fasted the most... like in my ENTIRE life. I started out the year super strong in that regard and only seemed to be getting progressively stronger and more disciplined.... until I got humbled real quick being the human that I am, and God used that experience to teach me a couple things about fasting.
Fasting, like all spiritual disciplines will cost us something. It requires crucifixion of the flesh. That's a sacrifice and as a believer, we are no strangers to that. Sacrifice is the foundation of our faith, it's the bedrock of our salvation (Jesus's sacrifice).
Though I used the example of literal fasting from food, the principles I share are not limited to that. You will hear me say 'Discipline over desire' a couple times. If you get tired of hearing me say it, that's fine as long as it registers lol. The desires of our flesh can be blockades to the rule of our spirits. However, when disciplined, they will simply be another hurdle crossed.

Most of us start off doing things with the very best intentions, but unfortunately, not many of us maintain pure motives till the very end. Whether that's starting a business, cultivating a relationship, serving in ministry or whatever the case may be, our intentions will undoubtedly get contaminated along the way if we do not take the initiative to assess and guard against that.
While it is admirable and commendable for us to plunge into the deep simply because God said so, we must be equally as intentional about maintaining pure motives through the course of our journey. Subconsciously, if we are not careful, over time, we will honor the gift over the giver, and the benefits over the One who called us. Needless to say, this is something we must watch out for.
In today's episode, we discuss the need for us to consistently assess our 'why''s. In doing so, we see that the fine things in life are not bad to desire, but when the pursuit of them takes precedence over obedience, they may just have taken up the position of lord in our lives.

In this episode, we explore some of the labels that we've used to define ourselves to our detriment. Personally, I delve into a fairly recent conviction and subsequent revelation regarding some labels that I'd adopted that seemed harmless until God opened my eyes as to how they allowed me live beneath the call for my life.
What are those labels for you? What do you use to identify yourself that goes against what God has called you? Do you see how that impacts the way you show up in the rooms God has ushered you into? This is more consequential than we know. If life and death are in the power of the tongue, when we call ourselves something God did not call us, we just may be coming into agreement with the death of a thing. It is that deep. Let's get into it!

In this episode, I start expanding a bit more on the truth that there is "No middle ground" when it comes to the agenda we are serving. We briefly spoke on this in Episode 9 and for the first few minutes of this episode, we get into it again before diving deep into the importance of yielding to distinct instructions from God.
Many times, if we can all be honest, we don't know what exactly God is doing. Some instructions He gives cannot be rationalized with Human thinking. For the life of us, we can't figure out why He is letting things happen a certain way when we've committed our plans into His hands yet we can't deny the fact that history has proven that He is the greatest master planner there is. Every day, we realize why certain things in our lives from years ago.. heck decades ago, had to happen. He's just that good.
This perfectly linked to the next focal point - The importance of writing it down. Documenting evidences of God's hand in your life and His faithfulness is a sure insurance plan to stay hopeful when life gets in your face and tries to bleed you dry. We need to REMEMBER. This is a principle that could not be emphasized more in the scriptures, yet it's no surprise that we're often plagued with amnesia when the going gets tough. This is why we must be intentional about doing the needed to help us remember - Write it down, and not only that, Read it over.
I pray these tips and revelation bless you as much as it blessed me. Remember to write down what God says to you as you listen, as you live daily.

In today’s episode, there is not one central focal point ( except Jesus of course) but we talk a little bit about a lot.
One of the things we discuss is the need to humble ourselves and test the spirits. Scripture says not to scoff at prophecies and there is a reason for that. Many times we can allow our preference, pride and emotions block us from receiving the truth. Conviction and discipline don’t always feel good in the moment but the fruit is well worth it.
We also talked about redefining success, leveraging the gift of remembrance and having the heart of an intercessor.
I bet something in here will be of value to you.
I pray as you listen to this, you witness God’s transformation in your life making you more and more like Him in Jesus Name. Amen.

Everybody tells us envy, jealousy and comparison are not right. We know it but yet, we can’t deny that it’s something many of us struggle with. While we may not need another person to point out the fact that it’s a problem, I think most of us can agree that what we need is a practical way to quit comparing! A practical way to deal with jealousy… and envy. And before we do that, you need to understand the why behind this behaviour.
Comparison and envy are two things I struggled with.. Well, I thought it was past tense until that lot reared their ugly heads this past week. I had to confront them with the truth with the help and by the strength of the Holy Spirit. I discovered a few things abut this scheme of the enemy and I literally HAVE to share it. This one literally hit me and convicted me all over again while I was editing it! And I KNOW without a shadow of out, that something in here will hit you too.
Pheeew, this is a MAJOR one. This is a CONVICTING one. This is a NECESSARY one. Yet this is a FREEING one.
I pray that as you listen to this, you break free from the bondage of comparison and find freedom in your identity and God-given custom assignment in Jesus Name. Amen!

There are many mental health issues that are increasingly prevalent in today’s world and one of the core culprits of depression and eventual suicide ideation is a lack of the understanding of who we are. Identity.
We live in a world where people define themselves by what they do. However, it is clear that no amount of success, reputation or ascent up the corporate ladder will ever satisfy our souls. We see this constantly when we hear about suicides committed by wealthy, seemingly successful, happy people who we believe should be completely satisfied with their lives. You can’t fit a square peg into a round hole. You can’t fill who you are with what you do.
God called man “very good” before He assigned Him work. Can you see yourself the way He sees you without the extras? Are you pleased with who He made? Is your contentment and satisfaction based off of variables? If yes, that’s an unstable foundation. It is dangerous to continue to build on weak ground. Instead of waiting for storms to test your roots and destroy your life, we can intentionally deconstruct and rebuild on solid ground. Trust me, it’s better and way less fatal.
The devil isn’t sleeping y’all. It has always been a scheme of his to get people to reorder and reprioritize to build wrong. From time, he has tried to get people to make who they are a factor of what they do instead of God’s order - you do what you do because because of who you are. The devil says prove yourselves by your works - “If you are the son of God, turn these stones to bread”. God says work from who you are.
In this episode we dive into identity. We will not be ignorant of the enemy’s schemes. This is a major one.
Something I’ve been learning lately is that there will be seasons where we don’t necessarily “feel” God in the way that we’ve grown accustomed to. There will be times where we will have to fall back on principles and truth to keep us going. This was one of those weeks for me and God gave me insight that freed me from the guilt I was carrying because I felt I was not doing enough to press in and make room for Him. Actually, that wasn’t the case at all - He was showing me a different manifestation of His presence… it just felt different and uncomfortable because I yearned for the familiar.
Unknowingly, many of us have sensationalized the presence of God and confined His expression to what is comfortable and familiar. Communion with God can look like 12 hours with just you and Him - worshipping, meditating, reading the word - that’s great. Communion with Him can also look like a full day of work, service and intercession… as long as you bring Him with you. It may not be a sitting season for you, maybe it’s time to walk and work- just do it WITH Him and not solely FOR Him. Partnership requires partners to be present and involved, that’s what God lets us in on - A divine partnership. Free yourself from the guilt that comes with boxing Him in.
Also, in this episode, we dive into the meaning of "holiness" . Holiness is a term that is almost seen to be outdated in today’s age. Many have no understanding as to what it means and some have equated it to conservativeness. The scripture says “Without Holiness, no man shall see God” - This verse alone is enough to emphasize the importance of living holy lives…. It is not enough to assume we know what that means. In this episode, we talk a bit about what I’ve found holiness to really truly mean and what it means to practically walk it out.

Taking time to Fast is a very important spiritual discipline. More than anything we can get from Him, the goal IS HIM. Fasting enables us get attuned to God’s voice and get in alignment with Him. With the added discipline of consecration by abstinence from other things, it enables us turn down the volume of other voices to gain more clarity from God. However, what happens after our fast is over? Many people fall right back into old patterns and letting the noise back in can muffle God’s voice.
A common struggle I’ve found many Christians deal with is the ability to discern the voice of God. Hearing God’s voice has always been important but it’s even more glaringly imperative during a time of transitions. Sometimes we do hear God yet we do not understand. First of all, why aren’t we hearing God’s voice? Secondly, How can we be sure that was God? Thirdly, how do we know what he meant by what He said? I dive into all this and more in this episode.

All through the scriptures we see the significance of names. This can be seen in instances where God named people (Jesus, Isaac, Ishmael, John the baptist, etc),and renamed people (Abram-Abraham, Sarai - Sarah, Jacob-Israel, etc) in line with what He was doing or/and what His plan was for them. We also see instances of people who named their children based on circumstance (eg Moses) and instances where people renamed their children because of the meaning( Benjamin previously Ben-Oni). Typically, when we see God give a name to a person, He gives a reason behind it. Have we lost intention in naming? And just how significant is it really?
I’m still figuring this out. Join me while I share my thoughts on this and more.
God is calling people to do some bold and audacious things in season and most of these moves require faith. However, as human beings, we're skilled at coming up with a million reasons why it shouldn't be us. One of the most common reasons is the population/density of the territory He is calling us into. Yes, there are many bloggers, podcasters, youtubers, you name it, but there isn't another you.
My question is "Why not you?!". You are a unique work of art and God purposed works for you, yes YOU to accomplish.
This was one of the things I personally talked to God about. In this video, I share some of the revelations He showed me and the reason why you should give Him your YES!
Also, we talk about a few other things like Matching Energy, Growing through discomfort, Trials we unknowingly asked for, etc. I pray it's a blessing to you!
Also, as you'll hear me say, It's transition season! I wrote a blog post about it and I know it's not just for me. Check it out!

Loss is an almost inescapable experience. While living here on earth, we will either lose people or people will lose us first - the flesh is temporary. Grief is a natural response to loss but when not handled properly, it could result in deeper wounds.
In this episode, my brother and I share on our personal experience, the nitty-gritty emotions that nobody wants to talk about, what helped and the anchor we had through that time... and even now. We hope that our REAL, RAW conversation can be of some benefit to you.
As with everything else, we speak on this on the basis of Truth - the Word of God. We also hope that our testimony can encourage you and be a means to shift your perspective. 🤍
Make sure to check out my blog post on "Two G's : Grief and Gratitude". It's my love letter to God giving you a glimpse on what God had done through my grief. I cried while writing it. I cry while living it. It is truly remarkable.
