In this week's episode, I shared my thoughts about addictions specifically Alcoholism and Pornography. This is just a step to open such kinds of conversations and it is for this reason I welcome anyone who has a testimony about what they once went through and how they overcame it. Thank you for your time listening to this, find the link to Courtney's testimony (as I promised to share it in the episode) below.

In this episode, I shared my personal opinion of what it means to use one's time well. This is a very short episode that can be perfectly digested if you listen to it before sleeping. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did while recording it. I wish you the best for the rest of the week. Much love from your host, Perside.
In this episode, I share a thought that has been living in my mind for a long time. The thought is ' It is possible for a person to always be there for you but they can’t be everything for/to you'. Listen to the episode and hear what I said about it in relation to friendships. I am always grateful for the time you spend listening to this podcast's episodes. Have a productive rest of the week.

In today's episode, we are about Content Creation. I am happy to share with you this wonderful conversation I had with Joel. Expect lots of good vibes and what , how and why he creates content through vlogging. He is among very few male vloggers not just in Rwanda but on our continent- Africa. He is surely setting an example whilst he has very few to look up when it comes to males in the Content Creation (vlogging) industry. I hope this episode brings value to you, your family and neighbours. Yes, share it as much as you can, Rwanda deserves many more Joels. Ready to step and walk confidently into their callings as they unapologetically represent! Follow him on instagram, subscribe on his channel, like, comment and share his videos.

Happy Wednesday, I am delighted to share this Conversation with you. Mohamed Mohamud (the author) shares with us his journey towards writing and publishing his books. I was inspired by his confidence in doing everything he could to change the narrative that the world gives the Somali Community and their country. In his book (Somali Sideways: Women Stories), there are lots of women stories and as you read it, you will get to understand how rich Somalia is because of its people. Very patriotic, hardworking and hopeful. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.

I couldn't wait to share with you this episode. I broke down some tips that I have been using to regularly take my meals everyday- from breakfast to dinner. It isn't that hard, we only have to find what works best for us as individuals who are different in so many ways. I also talked about sports and how discipline helps us keep both our bodies and minds healthy. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. Have a productive week. Much much love from your host, Perside.
This week’s special episode features Ada Ugo Abara. She is a professional Human Rights Activist, leading the Arising Africans Association, Dtech’s podcast host. In our conversation, she takes us through her journey from her childhood to who she has become today.
It is interesting how she and her friends started the Arising Africans Association in order to create a community and change the Afro- Italians’ narrative in Italy. She shared a lot of gems on how to sustain such a big idea and how she built her job position in the workplace. She in addition left some advice for young international students & fresh graduates. You can reach out to her through instagram @ada_abara. Enjoy the Episode!
HAPPY WEDNESDAY!
Welcome to this week's episode where I share some of the unpopular opinions about what it takes to stay consistent. I hope you will enjoy it. If you like it, feel free to share it with your friends, see you next week!
Know How Podcast turned 6 months on the 25th July, 2023. Isn't that beautiful? Thanks to everyone who has helped sustain it and for this reason, I as the Host have shared lot that I have seen in the Podcasting atmosphere. It is surely not easy but it is possible. Try this episode and share it with your other friends who may be interested in starting a podcast. Today's message is simple 'START A PODCAST'.
Towards the end of October 2021, I bought a brand new PC/ Laptop that cost 600 Euros. I also spent an additional 150 Euros for an MS Office package and 20 Euros for my PC’s antivirus. That was expensive for me because I had just moved to a new apartment. I had no plans of searching for a job because I wanted to concentrate on my last year for my Bachelor’s degree….. find the rest of the story in Today's episode.
Shocked? Yes, I am as shocked as I am to share this. I decided to be as transparent as I can today because this is the best way to deliver my message to whoever will listen to the episode . One of my passions that I’ve rarely talked about here is ‘Teaching’ and it is therefore not by accident that I disclosed those numbers. As a teacher and a student, I know what it means when examples are used.
Lots of people are nowadays selling this kind of information through Master classes. For me, I am answering a call, a purpose that is beyond my understanding too. This information is meant to inspire and raise wealthy & financially free generations& communities. In this episode, I simply shared how I used that PC to get its total cost back in very few months. Listen to the episode and find out how I did that using my passion for Teaching.
I am grateful for this podcast, it has stretched & tested my confidence and guts in immeasurable ways. Every week, I do this in the hopes that someone else’s path may be shortened.
In this episode, I shared lots of important things that I gained from different social Media Platforms (as just a user). I love to sometimes optimistically look at things and that really helps get the best out of everything presented in front of me. Feel free to share it with your friends who are not into social media. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
I enjoyed recording this episode, I shared my idea of having to inherit our Creator's confidence. In the process of creating humans, the Creator was/ is never afraid of his creativity. He seeks no validation but he lives room for people to modify, adjust things as they may want to. I believe as creators we should have that same kind of confidence too. You don't necessarily have to receive validation to believe that what you are creating beautiful things. You can learn from others, appreciate feedbacks, leave room for others to modify what you have created but still remain original.
Welcome to this week's episode. I shared lots about how my first year went as a Masters Student; my takeaways, highs and lows. These past 6 months were a challenge for me. I at times doubted my capacity to go through some changes but I am grateful, it is now over. I hope as you listen to it, you may also learn, reflect and feel encouraged.
Happy rest of the week!
Listen today's episode and hear what Perside (the host) thinks about this topic. How does your experience in outgrowing things look like? I can't wait to hear from you. I wish you a productive week.
Today's episode completes a series of what it looks like to study/ live abroad. I have shared a lot basing on what I know from my personal experience but I would like to know more. This prepares all of us for a better future, where some will be moving for work too. Let me know if you were able to relate to some points that I mentioned in here. Share it with friends whom you think are in need of these details. I love you and I wish you a wonderful rest of the week.
In today's episode, I share the Pros (a mixture of thoughts and my personal experience) as a student living abroad. I am sure the list is really long, feel free to send in your opinions for the Cons too. I apologize for the background voices, I couldn't record it again since I am still busy with my exams, but greater and better things are coming. Have a beautiful rest of the week.
My goal as I share this episode is to have you convinced that the greatest investment you will ever do is in YOU. You already are that precious asset, you are that minister, business owner, CEO ; you only need to prove it to yourself by keeping yourself and your abilities active. Do not wait for that office, business, company or people to call you the person you already are. I can't wait to hear from people who will walk into their callings after listening to this. A wonderful rest of the week, I love you so much!
I am happy to have you listen to today's episode where it is my time to also Know How. I have asked some questions about Boldness and I would like to hear from you. Find the questions in the episode.
Today, Me (Perside) and Priscille, we explore what and who is family to us, things we wish families could value more and how we would like our future families to look like. It is more of a moment to reflect and point out some good and bad we have seen in families, ours included (within a Rwandan context). Please feel free to add more or just leave a comment on what you think about this conversation. Thank you again for the time you will spend listening to this. Happy rest of the week!
In this episode, I share my thoughts about what usually holds us down and how we can cover up for our setbacks. Feel free to share your ideas too, I am always open to chat with you through comments. Let us grow together.
This Episode features Rwanda We Want ‘s Chairperson and Founder Tristan Murenzi. He took us through the Rwanda We Want’s journey from being a School club to becoming a Non-Governmental Organization. It is now an NGO that works beyonds the borders of Rwanda to educate and empower youth through various programs. I was personally inspired by our conversation because in addition to being the Founder & Chairperson, Tristan is a good speaker too. He answered lots of questions which I know most young people ask themselves these days. I dedicate this episode to everyone who has dreams of launching an initiative. May Rwanda We Want be an example that enlightens your path as you walk towards your dreams.
Today's Episode answers questions that I was asked by some of you. Listen to the episode to get to know a little bit about me. What I do in my free time, where I see myself in the next 5 years, my favorite episode and more. I wish you a productive week!
Through this episode, I shared how I chose to embrace Comparison because it leaves room for me to learn, reach out and strengthen my Whys. As I practice focusing on the positive side of comparison, this is an episode that I will always come to listen to whenever I will be in my lowest moments. Happy rest of the week!
In honor of the commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, I would like to share with you a Review of the book ‘The Barefoot Woman’ by Scholastique Mukasonga. A piece written to pay tribute to Mukasonga’s mother (Stefania). Stefania is the Barefoot Woman who desperately looked out and did her best to protect her children, but was it possible in the end? How did Stafania’s daily life look like? This book gives a detailed picture of the a typical Rwandan lifestyle for most families earlier in Rwanda. It links lots of scenarios to explain how their neighborhood had no complete freedom when it came to how they lived their lives because they were Tutsis.
This week’s episode features a very beautiful couple of Grant and Denyse. Grant is a Life Coach in Self Development, Relationships and Marriage. Denyse is a Flight Attendant and they have been married for almost 5 years.
Through this conversation, they shared a little bit about their childhood aspirations, their lives as students until when they got to meet. What they were looking for in a partner before they met, what convinced each one of them that they were meant to live together, some of the red and greens they consider important in relationships and a lot more.
I love them for their intentionality, dedication and determination to help our society build strong and healthy relationships. I hope you will enjoy this episode as much as I did. Feel free to reach out to them through Instagram or on Twitter @ Grant Norbert, @Denyse.
This is the shortest episode from my first ten on this podcast. I shared a few steps which are helping me on this journey of Finding my life's purpose. It really sounds that simple and easy but it takes time and strength to even admit you are trusted with that Big Mission/Purpose/ Calling. Do you have something to add on the list, please, feel free to share it.
In this episode, Perside shares what it means for her to love Rwanda. She also highlights the importance of educating people on 'loving their countries' daily. She can't wait to hear from you. Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome too.
In today's episode, I(Perside) took you through my 22nd year - just a little. I also talked about how lots of things (the people we listen to, books we read, movies we watch and places we visit) trigger silent conversations within our minds which later influence who we become. Take your 10 minutes as you walk around your neighborhood, cook or take a shower and listen to my personal experiences. I can't wait to hear your different perspectives on what I shared. Do you in the first place agree with this idea?
In this Episode, I share my journey of how I found my Voice as a lady.
As we grow up, it is really up to us to leave behind behaviours which are no longer serving us even if they may be praised by the communities we come from. Listen to it and I can't wait to hear more from you too, what has changed in your life as a woman over the years.
In today's episode King Ngabo shares how his interests in searching for information and reading books from his childhood shaped him into the person he is today. He moreover talks about how he transitioned from his academic interests (Finance) to Arts and Storytelling. He is now the founder and Creative Director of INGABO CORNER (A Creative Arts Hub) and a café.
It is with so much happiness that I am sharing this insightful conversation I had with him. I loved the energy, confidence and dedication he has towards what he does.

In this episode, I explain what the Liability of Newness means. It is in general the difficulties which come with new beginnings. In form of reminders, I explained how Patience and always having your WHYs are the 2 powerful prerequisites to help us navigate through this phase.
This Episode features a very special artist, Tania Rugamba. She authentically shares a little bit about her journey as a former international student, how she started Music, coming back in Rwanda and lots about her source of inspiration as she creates. She is an empowered lady and her songs are a pure reflection of her beautiful personality. This conversation perfectly portrays the picture in which I see my podcast; a platform meant to bring such talents and inspirational stories to light.
I dedicate this Episode to all young Creatives.

Welcome to our third Episode. I in general talked about a few things that I look at before starting a job/ internship, gave examples of jobs and internships that I did and a lot more. I also shared a few platforms you can use to monetize any skill that you may have put at rest within you. I surely wish I could have listened to something like this some years ago.
In this episode, I share a few lessons I learnt from this book. It’s definitely going to inspire you Know How you can achieve lots by starting with those steps you call small. With the use of examples, I went through the 3 essential layers to work on as we change our habits and what he meant by not focusing on goals but systems. Towards the end, I also shared the four laws of behavioural change: make your habits obvious, easy, attractive and satisfying. I personally saw lots of theories that I applied in the past when I wanted to change my sleeping habits. I can't wait to continue to use the knowledge that I got from this book.
In this episode, I share a bit about how I came up with this podcast and what it’s meant for. If it's your first time meeting me, let's keep in touch through this podcast. I shall soon share much more about myself. Feel free to follow me on instagram @knowhowpodcastt.
