We talked with Pastor Jeremiah Ketels from Anchor Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia about what it was like to start a church plant. He discusses some of the challenges encountered in finding a building as being active duty military during the first couple of years as the pastor of a new church. Pastor Ketels also talks about the numerous blessings the Lord has bestowed because of his faithfulness in surrendering to God's calling.
In our second episode we talk with Pastor Jonathan Nettesheim from, Elizabeth City Baptist Church, the third local church planted out of Chesapeake Baptist Church. Pastor Jon gives his testimony and a little insight into being the son of a pastor and how that helped shape his understanding of what being the pastor of a church truly entails. We discussed when he was called to be a pastor and how the Elizabeth City Baptist Church was started and where it is today.

In episode one we are talking to Pastor Matt Nettesheim of Chesapeake Baptist Church about how he believes God called his church to plant more churches. Discussions include the vision, struggles, prospective pastors, and more. During his time pastoring Chesapeake Baptist Church he, with the strong support of his congregation, and the blessings of God has planted four local churches and one overseas so far, with another local church planted in the near future.
