It's that simple. We can make all the excuses we want and validate them all the long. The truth, however, is that we're choosing to not step into something else. It's hard when you've been telling yourself the same story for so long.Let's Connect!Instagram: @thewholenesseraEmail: wholenessera@gmail.com
Finding a therapist can be difficult. There is jargon to understand and so many steps to follow. I can help! Not only do i personally engage in therapy, I also help people find therapy and psychiatry providers as my job. When I meet people going through a tough mental health time their primary complaint for getting help is that they don't know where to start or that finding the right therapist is too hard. While I cant make you have the perfect therapist match I can help you learn how to give yourself a better shot.

In this podcast I review my goals I set for 2022. Spoiler I did not do great. Through the podcast I come to some realizations about what success in goal achievement really means and how to carry that mindset into goal setting for the new year. I walk through the purpose of SMART goals and show you all of mine for the new year.
For my personal, school, and professional planning I utilize a planner from target and the app Notion. You can find both linked bellow. Through my notion page you can explore and use what I have created as a template to start your own. Notion is tricky at first but once you get it organized its a game changer for productivity and organization.
If you're interested in creating a 2023 accountability group please comment down bellow, DM me, or reach out. My idea is that we could meet via zoom once a month and do a lil get together to celebrate our achievements. It could be a support group and resource guide. Just an idea (:
Make sure to check out my YouTube channel. I will be starting to post weekly vlogs as well as a series of me deep cleaning my home and my life in general for the new year.

Coping skills are the tools that we use to deal with unwanted or negative emotions and experiences in our lives. They can be good, bad or neutral. In todays episode I share my coping skills and how I tell if they're positive negative or neutral. As well show to stop basing your own coping skills and goals off of the infinite number of ways we are told are the best online. This week I gave you some homework! Make a list of every coping skill you can think of. From as simple as eating or taking a shower to as specific as meditation. Go through the list and label them + for positive - for negative or no symbol for neutral. Rewrite the negative ones and why they are unhelpful and choose which as hindering you the most if you have many. Otherwise write the details of why and your plan to change them or remove them. Same with positive ones! Write why they help and or add new positives and your SMART goals of how you plan to achieve the top one. Share your goals with me on instagram or utilize my outlines/examples to write them out on on my instagram.

You are far more than a label of your mental health. The label is also not a death sentence you have power over it (in many but not all cases). I have struggled with my mental health since childhood. The roots of it run generations deep, but I have the power to take it by the reins. This episode is primarily about me and how my brain works. I filmed it while I was having a really difficult mental health day so its a bit all over the place... but how appropriate!
No resources this time because I am pretty much just talking about my experience and will deep dive into other topics in later episodes.
