In this episode, I talk about why you shouldn't always use or rely on a scale as your only way to track or measure progress. It can be a great tool to use, but it shouldn't be your one and sole way to measure or track your progress.
In this episode, I give multiple other ways you can measure and track progress so make sure to listen all the way.

What is up guys, in this Episode I talk about the Hard Truth that most people always avoid or refuse to acknowledge when it comes to their weight loss and fat loss.
Creating a calorie deficit is part one of the puzzle piece but where most people fail is at maintaining that calorie deficit. Remember that weight loss and fat is a long term process, and you need to create and maintain that deficit correctly in order for your body to want loss to that weight and fat.

What is up everyone, welcome back to another episode. This week we are talking about the most commonly seen gym mistakes and how we can work to fix them. If you haven't already, go checkout last weeks episode it was absolutely fire and I know many people will find it useful.
Remember you Fanatics, not everyone who goes to the gym takes it religiously like myself or others. The mistakes mentioned here are very common and if you are doing them, most likely several other people at your gym are too. I do not expect any of you guys listening to be pros at the gym and know everything there is to know, but you can get help from other people and from resources available online on google, youtube, tiktok, instagram etc.
Hope you guys find this episode helpful/useful and if you did consider a like, sharing with others, and leaving a review. Have a great day Fanatics.
What is up guys, welcome back to another episode you Fanatics. In this episode I go over the reasons why you and those listening should consider hiring a personal trainer. When you put ego, and pride aside a personal trainer is a Professional who will help you tremendously towards your Health and Fitness goals.
Like any profession, yes there will Personal Trainers who don't know anything, are in it only for the money, and are just textbook smart with no experience. Like mentioned in the episode if you were to learn a new skilll, you would go and seek the help of a professional or experienced individual. A personal trainer is that professional you should go to for help when it comes to health and fitness.
Hope you guys enjoy this episode and if you do consider leaving a like, comment, and sharing with others who you know this would help.
Have a blessed day and week guys .
What is up you Fanatics! Welcome back to another episode and in today's episode I go over why building long term sustainable habits is the best way to acheive and keep those Health & Fitness goals we all have.
Whether is be weight loss, fat loss, muscle growth, better athlete, better marathon runner, healthier individual etc all these require long term approaches. During the epsiode you will hear me talk about how you should not associate habits with goals. The reason being because once you reach that goal, that habit that was associated with that goal with also most likely fall off.
I don't want to spoil everything so again thank you guys for tuning in and supporting much love and have a great day/week. God Bless
What is up welcome back to the Fitness Fanatic Podcast and like always thank you guys so much for tuning in.
In this episode I talk about Gym Anxiety which is a very important and relevant topic for many health and fitness enthusiasts. Unfortunately we currently live in a society where privacy is almost non existent and for the gym goers that can be very horrifying. Gym anxiety is terrible because its something that stops/prevents many individuals from actually going to the gym and bettering themselves.
Everyone's health and fitness goals are different but yet many of us seem to have the same fear of being judged, looked at, and made fun of at while at the gym. While this can be true to a very small degree around 1%, the other 99% are in the gym to do the exact same thing you are, bettering themselves and working towards their health and fitness goals. The gym culture is always shifting but currently I would like to say that the gym culture for the most part is very supportive and encouraging.
You can't control others OPINION about you but you can control how you react. I know for a fact this episode will help you understand how you can start to overcome that gym anxiety.
What is up you Fanatics Happy New Years! Hope you all had a happy holidays and have set some great goals moving forward into the new year.
Season 4 of the podcast is here and im hoping to be able to start putting out episodes weekly again so stay tune for that. In this episode we talk about social media and the impact it can have both positively and negatively on our Health and Fitness journeys.
Social media includes everything from instagram to snapchat, youtube, tiktok, facebook, reddit, etc. Like mentioned in the podcast social media is here to stay and the best thing we can do is adjust to it and use it as a tool rather than let it consume us and get the best of us.
Social media should be used as a tool to be inspired, motivated, gather information, gather knowledge, market your business or Services etc. It should not be used as a tool to be at constant competition or comparing yourself with other individuals. Reminder that on social media people will only allow you to see, what they want you to see.
Remember its always you vs you and sometimes its best to take a week or couple days break from social media. I am not saying social media is bad because it's not and I myself have learned so much from it, but we can't let it control every aspect of how we live or do things.
What is up you Fanatics! Welcome back to another episode, like always love and appreciate all of you who listen and support means the world. I had the flu during this recording so forgive me if I sound a little weird.
In this episode I talk about what is true health because many people can sometimes think of health as just physical health or how you look. Health can be measured by three components; Physical Health, Social Health, and Mental Health.
You can be someone who has great physical health but then not have good social or mental health or vice versa. I do want to emphasize that for physical health the goal isn't to only get huge or big muscles. Any physical activity that you like and enjoy is fine, the point is to be taking care of yourself physical and not live a sedentary lifestyle.

What is up you Fanatics! Welcome back to another episode and part 2 on the "Why you aren't seeing results" series. Last episode we talked about unrealistic goals or an unrealistic approach to your goals and the overall personal knowledge that people lack when it comes to how to achieve heir goals.
In this episode we talk about nutrition and making sure to have a balance intake of carbohydrates, fats, and protein. According to your goals and activity you engage in these macro intake will vary. Also if you have any pre diagnosis medical conditions. Some people will have higher carb diet because of their high intensity activity they participate in. Some people will have higher protein and moderate carbs.
The key goal is to be consistent day in and day out with your macro intake/nutrition. It is NOT a one week thing thats why it's not a diet, a diet is short term this is a lifestyle change and approach to bettering your results. Water is also VERY important and so simple stay on top of it.
What is up everyone!! Hope everyone is having an amazing day and are one step closer towards the goals and vision. Feels good to be able to make another episode, I feel like I can talk to for days!
This is part one of a mini 3 episode series of ( Why Results Vary ) and in this episode I talk about setting unrealistic results and the overall personal knowledge/approach individuals have towards their health & fitness goals. I know this information will help those of you listening but you have to take action, the power in your hands remember that.
Next episode I will take about nutrition more in depth and energy balance and how it can be affecting results along your journey. I will take a look at this from both a muscle growth perspective and weight loss perspective.
What is up everyone! Welcome back to another episode you Fanatics. In this episode we go over the benefits and simplicity of walking as a form of cardio .
Many people tend to overlook walking because either they think "oh I already walk" or they think "why would I walk I might I can get on a treadmill". In a society where people spend much if their time seated working online and walking can be so simple and even done from the comfort of your home. Walking can also be made challenging by adding ankle weights, a weighted backpack, hold a water gallon, this can all be done from home.
Starting simple is sometimes the best and most effective way that a person can get started on their health and fitness journey. If you enjoy other forms of cardio then by all means do them, but if you are someone looking to just start moving more and be able to increase intensity than walking is a great form of cardio to start with.
if you enjoyed and learned something please consider a like, rating and sharing
What is up everyone! Welcome back you Fanatics to another episode hope everyone is having an amazing whenever you are listening. In this episode I take it back to the basic nutrition Information of what are macros, what they do, and why we need them. Understand that besides having a lot of processed foods, a lot of added sugars, and consuming lots saturated fats eating and nutrition is simple. I think social media and people try to over complicate often.
Stick to whole foods if you can, I know its not always cheap and if not foods that are minimally processed without a long list of ingredients. Eat according to your goals while avoided foods high In added sugar, saturated fats, high in sodium content, and if needed you can always go to a register dietitian for further analysis on your diet.
Hope you guys enjoy and like always if so consider a like, rating or sharing this thank you guys till next episode.
What is up everyone! Welcome back you fanatics. In this episode me and my very close friend Ruben go over how Fitness will make you a millionaire.
It won't make you a millionaire literally even though it can haha, but the point of this episode is to convey to you guys that the skills you will acquire through your own health and fitness journey and the health benefits that will come because of that journey, can and will be of use in your daily life to make you an overall healthier and more successful person. That itself is worth more than a million.
Consistency, Discipline, Effort, Commitment, Determination, Drive, Self-efficacy, Handling stressful situations, better cognitive function, better oxygen capacity, neurological adaptations, these are only a few of the many skills and health benefits that one can acquire through their own fitness journey and implement into their daily lives.
What is up guys!! Welcome back you Fanatics to another episode. In this weeks episode I discuss the topic of what Fitness is/means and what components make up a Health & Fitness lifestyle.
Many people tend to associate the word Fitness with lifting weights, being in the gym, or jogging but in reality it means a lot more than just that. Fitness itself is a way we can better ourselves not just for physical activity or events such as sports, or a marathon but it also provides many health benefits besides just physical improvements.
These include better nutrient absorption, better oxygen capacity, better cognitive functions, better stress/anxiety management, better insulin utilization etc.
Hope you guys learn something and if so please consider a like, rating and sharing helps alot.
What is up everyone welcome back to another episode and like always appreciate all of you listening and supporting.
In todays episode I just go overall training splits, which training split you should consider and why. I also touch on how often should you be switching up your training program/exercises. The best training split is always going to be the one you can adhere to and commit to but also a training split that is working in favor of your goals.
Hope you guys enjoy this episode and if so consider leaving a comment and rating.

What is up fanatics! Welcome back to another episode feels good to be back. In this episode I go over something called Specialization Training. I first heard this from Dr.Mike Israetel from renaissance periodization on YouTube.
It basically is a technique where you increase volume/frequency for a given muscle you think is underdeveloped or lagging compared to the rest of your physique. For about 1-3 months you can focus more overall volume/ frequency on that one body part, and maybe pull a day from a stronger body part. For example if you want to focus more on overall leg growth and you have a fantastic chest pull a chest day so do chest once a week and add in an extra leg day to replace that chest day.
If you want to learn more about it go to the YouTube channel I listed above Renaissance Periodization. Hope you guys enjoyed and learned something.
Hey Guys! Welcome back to another episode of the Fitness Fanatic Podcast! In this episode I go over how to properly progressive overload. It's very common for people to think that the only way to provide the body with a stimulus is to increase the weight but that isn't the case at all.
Increasing the weight of a given exercise is one of the few ways to progressively overload but it shouldn't be the one people gravitate towards first all the time. In this episode I explain the 3 main ways to progressive overload and by no means am I saying to not lift heavy but there is a time and place for heavy training.
Hope you guys enjoy and learned something from this episode and if so please maybe consider a like, rating and sharing with friends who might find this beneficial.
We all know someone who is always talking about how hard it is for them to put on weight so today I will be going over some of the best foods to help you or anyone you know put on weight more easily.
At the end of the day it all comes down to calories in calories out so if you want to gain weight and put on some mass, you have to be eating in a calorie surplus daily. Keep in mind if you are eating in a massive surplus you risk putting on unnecessary levels of body fat so be smart with your decision.
If you don't care much about putting on fat then by all means eat in whatever kind of surplus you would like but if you are someone trying to gain weight, but minimize the amount of fat you put onto your body frame then I suggest eating in a 200-500 calorie surplus.
Like always guys have a great day and keep chasing after your goals and dreams.
What Is up guys!! Hope you are all having a wonderful day and welcome back to another episode. In this episode I go over what is exercise selection and why I think it's important.
There is not one exercise that is far superior to all others and depending on your own personal gym goals, you might want to do certain exercise variation over others. Four main things one should consider when choosing an exercise are your individual gym goals strength vs hypertrophy, your own human anatomy, targeted muscle connection when performing that specific exercise and the risk to reward ratio when performing certain movements. This can be risk to injury or even risk in terms of fatigue accumulation or overall systemic fatigue from performing a certain movement.
Hope you guys learned something if so please consider leaving a like, comment and rating.
What is up Fanatic Family, welcome back to another podcast episode and this one is for anyone either on a cut or trying to lose some extra weight or fat. I go over some foods which are very low in calories but also filling so that you can maintain a calorie deficit and still be able to eat rather than starve yourself.
I like to say don't be lazy take an extra 5-10 minutes and look at nutrition labels, I guarantee you will find something low calorie that you didn't expect and will help you on your diet tremendously.
What is up everyone! Hope you are all having an amazing day. In today's episode I go over some important tips for beginners looking to build and put on good quality muscle. In today's day and age everyone seems to be an expert within the Health & Fitness industry. I am here to give you the raw truth from both self experience and hundreds of hour of research that I have done.
If you enjoyed and learned something please consider leaving a like, comment, share and subscribe. Keep chasing your dreams
What is up everyone!! In this episode I go over why most people seem to reach a weight loss or fat loss plateau and some easy tips which will hopefully help you guys overcome those annoying plateaus. It won't happen overnight but with some effort and consistency I know you guys will be able to keep losing the weight and keep it off.
If you liked this episode and learned something please consider leaving a like, sharing and commenting.
What is up everyone!! Man what an experience this weekend was, competing in my first EVER bodybuilding is definitely something I will never forget. 2nd place In my novice class and 3rd place overall in the open class 💪. Beyond happy with the result and honored by everyone's support and words of kindness. Time to grow in the off-season and come back next show undeniable.
In this episode I just talk about my experience leading up to show day, peak week, training, spray tan, hotel, etc.
If you are someone thinking about competing I say with 100% assurance do it. Yes the physical transformation itself is awesome, but the self development and self growth that comes from prepping for a show is what really made everything worth it.
What is up guys! Thank you for tuning into today's episode which is a fun rambling episode about my prep life so far, my plans for the future, what I want to do from an entrepreneurship perspective, and where I see myself going with bodybuilding and other life goals.
Yes I love bodybuilding and it's a sport that ties really well into the Health and Fitness industry, but I also have other life goals that depending on how everything continues to go I might want to pursue more aggressively. With that being said Im super excited for my show on April 23rd and can't wait to see what the future brings. This is only the beginning towards something big.

What is up everyone!! Hope you guys are having an amazing day and I can't wait for you guys to listen to this episode. I was talking to a couple friends and I was honestly surprised to see how their social anxiety was actually preventing them from starting their health and fitness goals/journey.
After talking to them and finding out that they were afraid of how others would perceive them or place judgement on them I decided to make an episode and spread awareness about social Anxiety. If you are someone who experiences social anxiety, you are not alone and I hope this video can help you in some shape or form.
Everyone will react very differently to social interactions so my best advice is to work on your mindset (cognitive behavior ), how you view certain scenarios and your self perceptions of how others may view you.
What is up guys!! Welcome back to another episode where we discuss and go over what truly drives muscular hypertrophy or muscular growth. Hopefully by now people understand that always lifting heavy is not necessary to cause muscular growth and adaption.
It is certainly one aspect to take into consideration and has its time for programming but is it the most important? What about volume and proximity to failure? A lot of research supports the agenda that we can build muscle anywhere between the 6-30 rep range as long as weekly volume is accounted for.
Even more research supports the idea of proximity to failure being as important if not even more important than how much you are actually lifting. Regardless listen to the episode to find out more and at the end of the day it all comes down to personal goals and programming.

What is up guys!!! Hope you guys are having a killer day and are becoming your own version of a fanatic. In this episode I go over what it truly means to be in a calorie deficit for weight and fat loss. I talk about how to achieve a correct calorie deficit and how a calorie deficit isn't only for a couple days it adds up weekly, monthly, etc. I also go over some strategies at the end of the episode which will help with hunger and making delicious foods while still being in a deficit.
At the end of the day a calorie deficit varies from person to person and goal to goal! Enjoy and if you liked the episode share it with people you want to help.
