Tim, played by Domhnall Gleeson, finds out on his 21st birthday that the men in his family are able to travel back in time to moments they’ve previously lived. Tim uses his new found ability to improve his love life. However, as his life progresses he begins to discover he can’t shield the ones he loves with his ability all the time. This week I talk about one of my favourite movies - Shutter Island. Directed by Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island is based on Teddy Daniels, a U.S Marshall who heads to a remote island to investigate the disappearance of a mental patient at a hospital. He meets a new partner, who both believe their is something strange happening on the island. SPOILER WARNING! I discuss the ending amongst other scenes throughout the film.
