Not even a week into 2021 and the previously unthinkable has happened once more: hundreds of pro-Trump protestors, clad in MAGA hats and waving Donald Trump flags, force their way into the US Capitol building. Some even went as far as barging into the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, casually taking pictures with their feet on her desk and her workspace ruined.
But it could happen here in the Philippines? And what are the long term consequences on US politics?
