Disclaimer: This podcast is for audiences who profess to be Christian's that either already or have a desire to live their lives according to the Holy Bible in the context in which it was written. The content you will hear on this podcast aligns strictly with the word of God as it is written and interpreted in the Bible. While in some episodes I or my guest will offer our personal thoughts, views, or opinions, we will never attribute what is our perspective as Biblical truth. Also, we are open to respectful correction, as long as what you are saying can be supported with scripture and you can provide the book, chapter, and verse for me/us to conduct my/our own study and confirm the context; at which point I am humble enough to edit and/or release a correction referencing the content of the published episode. If the Holy Bible is NOT the complete authority which governs your choices, morals, and value system then you will probably disagree with most of the content you hear on this podcast, and it may not be the best option for you. However, you are more than welcome to listen regardless of what belief system you subscribe to, just know the thoughts and views of this podcast are aligned with the teachings of the Holy Bible in its proper context. Thank you tuning in, and we hope you return!

Unfortunately, the answer is the world's perspective because that is easier then searching the Bible to determine what God says about it. Deacon Pedro Santos, a faithful partner of Keeping Our Lights Lit Ministry joins the conversation as he and Elder Hopkins discuss some, but not all things concerning the matter. As believers we have an opportunity to share the word of God with others to help them know and understand the God, we both love and serve. We share God's word as a means of providing comfort, guidance, and advice. This is a great responsibility. A responsibility that requires us to ensure we are sharing the word in its proper context and accurately. If we fail to do so, we risk turning souls away from Christ.

What if I told you that some of the most popular sayings and phrases attributed to the Bible, are not actually Biblical. What if I told you that many of the things used to comfort us aren't accurate? In this episode we explore some of those popular phrases given to us that are not in the Bible. I challenge you to do your research. Provide me feedback. If you can provide me with scripture to correct any of my research, please do. Let's explore these phrases together and grow in the way of the Lord.

Today's episode has been recording in response to the Roe vs. Wade decision. While we will typically release episodes on Thursday's we felt it important to take a moment to process, research and encourage a better Christian response in lieu of some of the horrible things we have been reading and witnessing. People can be cruel believer and non-believers alike, but as believers we are called to act responsible and respectful. This episode provides some suggestion on how and why we should do just that.
