The love of God is not simply a feeling; it’s love in action.
We need to know the love of Christ so deeply, and spend so much time with Him. So that when we go out, reproducing His love is natural, it is a part of us!
Are YOU driven by love? Do you truly receive the Lord’s heart for love? To live a life driven by love, we must first experience it for ourselves.
“Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts. The whole earth is full of His Glory.”
When the Lord has a plan and a purpose for humanity, and He has a desire for His people, nothing can stop it. It transcends time. Not only is He Holy, but we are to be Holy as He is Holy.
Holy means to be set apart. It is time that we honor that.
Dr Josh Peters teaches about loving the Bible - the Word of God. And how it affects and transforms our day to day lives.
There are spiritual battles that take place in the mind and in the heart, more-so even than in the natural. The greatest war is inside our minds. Pastor Chris preaches about pulling down these strongholds.
Pastor Chris continues a series titled “A Prophetic Kingdom and a Prophetic People.”
Four things the Lord is telling us in this season:
- You must recognize that you have been called.
- You must know that there must be implicit obedience on your part.
- We must be in deep intimacy and relationship with God.
- You must be ready to build.
God is speaking and He is giving us visions and dreams; and we are entering a season where boldness is needed from the church.
This week at FIRE - Guest speaker, Ron Tolsen shares about his ministry My Daily Bread. Ron preaches about the preparation for the Promise.
We as Believers go through seasons of testing; we must be patient and keep our eyes to heaven. Testing is preparation for the promise to come.
This week at FIRE we recieve a special update from The Lantern Project.
Pastor Chris continues a series titled “A Prophetic Kingdom and a Prophetic People.”
We must be a people that see and hear well. If we don’t see in the spirit, we won’t be able to succeed in this life and advance the Kingdom of God.
Each one of the prophets of the old testament had an encounter with the Lord, but it was when they saw the Lord that they were able to properly declare the Word of God to a generation.
When you see the Love of God for what it really is and die to self, it should cause us to become undone.

Jesus said “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” We need to be a people that truly sees and truly hears. We were created to have fellowship with God.
When the Holy Spirit became present in Acts, it came in places that had been watered with prayers. Our prayers must be to draw near to Him and seek His face.

This week we focus on the area “Dealing with the prophet Joel.”
We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us. He can speak through us, knows the trials we go through and loves better than we could ever love. We must recognize that we need to be a prophetic people. It is a necessity.
God is wanting to stir us to be those that know His heart, His mind, and move with an understanding of what His spirit is saying to us. There needs to be a restoration of some things in the church.
5 Areas that the Lord has been initiating since the New Covenant has been established.
- Restoration of the ministry of Elijah.
- Dealing with the prophet Joel.
- “That” prophet - Jesus
- The restoration of David’s Tabernacle.
- The Revelation of the final conflicts of the Kingdoms.
Jesus is promising the gift of the Holy Spirit, He tells us to wait on the promise.
When we rid ourselves of our own perspective of how things ought to be, and we let go, that’s when we find ourselves in that upper room, desperate for God.
Pastors Chris and Jen open the floor with a Q&A Panel with our Moms! Diving into the impactful and beautiful lives of our mothers, and talking about the behind-the-scenes moments.
God has a way of doing things that do not always make sense in our carnal minds. We have to trust the Lord in His wisdom and timing, as well as follow His guidance and direction. What looks like foolishness in the eyes of men, looks like wisdom in the eyes of God.
“In the world’s eyes they can call me a fool all day long, so long as I am a fool for Christ.” - Pastor Chris Williams
Pastor Chris preaches on Redemption.
If we are not hungry for God, it is because we are full from something else. Jesus should be our daily bread, not the influences of this world. When He arises, nothing can stand against. There is power in being full of the Spirit, and the redeeming love of God.
Pastor Chris preaches a sermon about pressing in.
The Lord is steadfast and jealous for us. His desire is to bless us. Still He waits for us to press into Him; to seek Him. Where is our desire?
When Jesus was on earth He was fully God and fully man; but He still had 100% authority. We also have that same authority. The enemy lies and deceives, but through our Father we have the authority to dismantle him. We must stay in constant connection with the Father, and stay rooted in His word.
Pastor Chris preaches on how Jesus is Like No Other.
Jesus is the Son of the Living God. Not just another prophet, rabbi, or teacher. He is the One that delivers us. The One that brings freedom. He is the King above all kings. There is no one like Him.
Jesus asks “Who do you say that I am?”
Dr Denis Ekobena shares a message on Prayer and our Engagement with The Almighty God. Prayer is talking with God. Regardless of our emotion, intention, or posture, God is always listening. He wants to meet us where we are.
How often do we allow materialistic things in our lives to become idols? We need to bring them to the feet of Jesus. He wants our hearts, because He wants to show us a love that is a much better way; The Way of the Master. We are called to be like Jesus.
Pastor Chris continues diving into “There Is None Like You.”
We pray for God to fill us up with His fresh love and power, but first we have to empty ourselves of our own junk.
Pastor Chris preaches about how easy it is for us to put materials and ideologies on a pedestal. Sometimes we become so focused on the “goal” that we forget about the One that we should be reaching for. We are nothing without God. All is for nothing without God being in the midst of it.
Dr. Josh Peters teaches about being baptized in the Holy Spirit. How do we receive that for ourselves, and what do we do about speaking in tongues?
Pastor Chris preaches on "The All Consuming Glory Of God"
We are “A royal priesthood.” God sees us as sons and daughters. Let us be postured in a way that we do not hurt His heart. Not out of legalism, but purely wanting to stay close to our Father.
Pastor Chris preaches about the Mercy Seat, and Holy Spirit conviction. Where is the conviction of God in your life? The secret to living a victorious life in Jesus comes by staying sensitive to the voice and correction of the Lord.
In the series Abide, Pastor Chris has taught us about Remaining, being Immersed in Jesus, and Resting in Jesus; and now we must Live it Out. We have been created by God for more, we have been created to have relationship with the King of Kings, and to worship the Lord of Lords.

There is more to the story, but there is also rest in this story.
To Abide is the seamless connection, the continuous awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit on our lives. Jesus said
“I am the vine, you are the branches, you must abide in Me.”

Abiding is not a mental effort it is a heart effort. It is easy for us to turn to worldly objects and desires, and not turn to God.
To truly Abide we have to be fully immersed in Jesus. We have to become so saturated and make Him Lord over all of our life, not just on a Sunday morning.

Abiding means to remain, to dwell, to be present. We may have mountain top experiences with the Lord, but it is when we are simply abiding with Him that we truly find rest and a genuine love for Him and His presence.
Pastor Chris reads from Psalm 22
Speaking of the trials and troubles we face daily; but only through the cross can we overcome. We cannot overcome on our own strength. We must deny ourselves, so that we can be free and submerse ourselves into God and His joy.

Before the foundations of the world, a promise was set in motion.
Jesus came to fulfill the promise of God in Genesis, that would right the wrongs of humanity. And through Him we have salvation through the birth of His Son. Merry Christmas!

There was a lot more than a silent night. There was a war taking place, and there still is.
Behind the silent night there was another reality. Jesus was more than just a baby, He was the King of Kings being born.

We need to know who we are, the earth is groaning for the real church to stand up, because we’re the only ones that carry the light.
Pastor Chris preaches about Restoring Identity. We are the sons and daughters of God, and we are not defined by the first Adam, but by the second Adam (Yeshua).
We continue our Conversations Series and give the congregation opportunity to converse around the table and share what God is doing in each of our lives. It is also Pastor Appreciation month, so we take some time to honor and thank our pastors.

We love. We forgive. We embrace.
That’s what the Body of Christ is called to do.
This week at FIRE...
- We get a glimpse into what is happening at Love Life as we kick off our Love Life Adoption Week.
- We hear testimonies from the Young Adults - Heavenly Concentrated Conference that took place over the weekend.
- Pastor Chris shares a word about the consistent pursuit we must have for the Lord as He woos us towards Him.

Pastor Chris gives us a glimpse into what the Holy Spirit does in our daily lives. He reminds us even though we may practice spiritual gifts, that does not mean we are walking with the Spirit.
In part 2 of this series, Pastor Chris encourages us to receive the completeness of Christ, and a perfect heart.
A perfect heart is searchable, a perfect heart is trusting, a perfect heart is a broken heart for that which breaks the Heart of God.
Founder of FIRE, Dr Michael Brown, shares a message reflecting on the past moves of God, while looking to the future for what God will continue to do. He also shares experiences on dealing with today’s culture and conveys the perspective we should have as Christians.
Pastor Chris encourages us to become Perfect; as we were created to be.
The Hebrew meaning of the word Perfect is “complete, whole, unimpaired, innocent, or undefiled.”
God wants us to be Perfect, not the world’s definition of perfect, but His definition of perfect, He wants us to be complete.
We continue our Conversations Series where we open the floor for the congregation to share all of the ways that God is working amidst each and every one of us.
Jesus doesn’t want us to sit at a second-hand table apart from Him; He wants us to feast with Him every single day. When we feast at Jesus’ table, we feast on the bread of life, which always sustains.
When you feel like you are constantly getting knocked down and discouragement sets in, sometimes you have to be reminded that you are not out for the count, and you need to get back up and keep going.
Pastor Kendrae Washburn challenges us to not let the pressures of the world keep us down, but to grab the hand of the Lord as He pulls us back up, and to give those pressures over to Him. Make the exchange.
Pastor Chris reminds us that the Lord delights in us and we are His delight. He truly wants the best for us.
When God gives us a promise we ought to trust Him, regardless of how the circumstances may appear. It is within those circumstances that we come to realize that we could not attain that promise on our own.
“If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us” - Numbers 14:8a
Have you ever had the thought, “What makes Christianity real and true?”
Steve Alt explains the validity of Jesus’ life on earth as well as His death and resurrection.
Furthermore, our own personal experience with God proves His goodness and faithfulness.
Pastor Chris reminds us to go back to the beginning. To recognize that before time was even created, God was there.
If you were to share the gospel with somebody and only shared the end without the beginning, you would be missing quite a bit. Without the beginning, the end doesn’t make sense.
Pastor Chris reads from Psalms 73, and brings attention to something that many of us often feel.
We feel as though the world is against us, and that those who live a lifestyle of the world seemingly get blessed beyond belief. Why?
Why is it that we as Christians are held to a standard and are held accountable, while those of the world are not being held accountable and are living lives of abundance? The day to day for us can feel overwhelming and unfair.
“But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled;
My steps had nearly slipped.” - Psalms 73:2
These feelings are common, but let them be an almost. Don’t let them be something that keeps you sliding.
Pastor Chris speaks on the Highway of Holiness.
God is the satisfaction that the world can’t offer. He provides a highway of holiness that the enemy does not have access to. We can be encouraged that God's mercies are new every morning and He will respond powerfully—even miraculously—as we cry out to Him in faith with holy fear.
Pastor Chris speaks on Shavuot, “The Feast of Weeks,” which commemorates the revelation of the Word of God coming to Moses on Mt Sinai.
We receive an understanding of how good God is, and the goodness of His Spirit.
- To desire the Kingdom, is really to desire the Spirit.
- To desire the Kingdom is to desire the King to come and pour out His spirit on our lives.
Founder of The Lantern Project, Simon Arkley, brings insight to things happening in our own city that may come as a shock. He shares tools, resources, and tips to help us combat against the darkness around us.
It’s one thing for someone to smell your cologne, it’s another for them to smell the fragrance of heaven.
“I want to be dripping with the presence of Jesus, so that when they encounter me they may think that they’re smelling some great cologne, but what they’re actually encountering is something that rubbed off on me because I was encountering and enamored with the lover of my soul.” - Pastor Chris Williams
Pastor Chris challenges us to shift our heart posture, that as mundane circumstances and trials of life arise, we come to a place with ourselves that we have no choice but to encourage ourselves in the Lord, and turn to Him. So that when times of crushing come, He is our source of strength.
Pastor Chris created space for the congregation to share what God is doing in each of our lives, encouraging the body to continue to pray, and believe God for the impossible.
Pastor Chris speaks on Holy Desires, and challenges us to gauge our hearts and determine where our desires are. Do our desires line up with God’s desires?
Special guest Kevin Cracknell shares a sobering, yet inspirational call to never let the fire of your adoration for Christ grow dim. Fire changes the atmosphere; when you spend your time with the Lord, the Holy Spirit fire that burns within you changes the world around you.
Pastor Chris preaches a message on The Beautiful Empty. We were born empty, and there is a lot of emptiness among us, but Jesus can take that empty and fill it. We need to empty ourselves of the spiritual clutter and allow Jesus to fill us with Him.
Pastor Chris reminds us that our vision needs to be restored to as it was at first. Our love for God needs to be restored to as it was when we first came to Him.
There needs to be balance in our passion for Jesus and our passion for His presence.
Today's complacency will lead to tomorrow's captivity.
The woman that crawled through the crowd to get to Jesus did not just grab hold of His garment, she was grabbing hold of the power of Jesus in His quiet place.
Pastor Chris gives a message about how Jesus is inviting us to trust and believe that He is working both in us and through us. By doing this, then we will see His Glory.
John Edwards gives a message about glimpses into the end time church, and the power of our spoken word as Christians.
Pastor Chris reads from the book of Ruth, teaching us that no matter what we have done in life, no matter what decisions we have made, The Lord longs for us to return to Him and the famine we are facing should be over.
This Sunday we had the opportunity to hear from our young adults group, Kemp5, as they led the service. Young adults pastor, Kendrae Washburn, led a panel with challenging questions, shared her heart for this generation of young adults, and Hannah Mynes brought a word about Activating Joy.
This Sunday Pastor Chris reminds us the Core Values of Fire Church.
He then shares resources with the church on how to stay up to date with current church events, find a Life Group, and get Connected as a body. We have the opportunity to hear from Staff, and meet Life Group Leaders as they share their hearts and invite us into their homes.
Steve Alt speaks on REVIVAL, and how we as believers ought to keep a heart posture of revival in our daily walk.
Pastor Chris continues the series on WISDOM emphasizing that God's word tells us if anyone lacks wisdom we can simply ask Him for it. Also, in life we will go through trials that will help us grow wiser and deepen our character.
Pastor Chris starts a new series entitled WISDOM, diving into areas of scripture devoted to teaching us how to have wisdom in our daily lives.
Pastor Chris created space for the congregation to come up and share testimonies, encouraging the body to continue to pray, and believe God for the impossible.
