It’s crucial to remember that, as we imitate Christ, our aim is NOT to attract the largest audience, but to remain faithful to God and His Word.
On the flip side of this issue, Shanda and Alisha consider when and how Christians should separate themselves from anti-God organizations. They break down the ways in which these decisions are different from “canceling” a business or individual. Welcome to The Gospel Changes Everything Podcast! In this episode, Alisha Illian teams up with Marcie Morris to tackle an important issue - false teaching. This episode will probably challenge your thinking, and it may step on your toes. Our advice? Do your best to listen (to the whole thing!) with an open mind and a teachable spirit. While the IF:Gathering is specifically discussed, this episode goes beyond simply targeting one source of false teaching. Alisha and Marcie provide a biblical basis for WHY and HOW false gospels should be called out. Additionally, you'll be encouraged to study and research for yourself. Though this may seem like a cultural issue, it’s actually a spiritual one The problems in our culture are real. The sin of racism is real. However, the answers are not found in the world's proposed solution of Critical Race Theory (CRT). In this episode, Alisha will define terms and explain the worldview behind this framework. As always, this episode will point back to the truth of the gospel. The key to Biblical unity within the church is not to overturn societal structures, but for the Lord to transform our hearts and minds.
