Is the current drive to make cartoons more and more adult-oriented the enemy of the good? The guys go from the prehistoric Saturday morning cartoons to today's streaming versions, like Amazon's Invincible and the DC animated movies. Enjoy the nostalgia!
Are corporate boycotts today the enemy of the good? Companies making knee-jerk reactions cost local communities and small businesses real income and job loss. What makes it especially bad is these companies obviously didn't read the law and went along with dishonest talking points. Work to change laws and help the communities, don't pull out and hurt them. These knee-jerk reactions result in a form of economic bullying and the dangerous precedent that un-elected mega-corps boardrooms can over-ride the will of the voters. The very real fallout is hurting innocent people, small businesses, and in Atlanta, mostly black Americans.
It's that time of year. We take a deep-dive into the free agency moves so far and at the end give our tribute to the best player ever to put on the Black & Gold. We love you Drew Brees! The game won't be the same without you.
Handy free agency tracker.
Try not to cry as Drew bids farewell to the field.
On a lighter note, cleaning my house lead to Ricky Williams and Coach Ditka. This never gets old.
So the Snyder cut is out. Here are our takes. All spoilers. #SnyderCut
We also made a mistake, the recut and reshoots weren't $25 million, they were $70 million. $70 million.....
Are fan theories the enemy of the good? In this episode we critique fan theories and the effect they have on our favorite shows... and then proceed right into our own fan theories about upcoming Marvel shows. Fan theories can be fun, but don't let them ruin shows for you. Let the shows do that themselves. We are so ready for #TFATWS tomorrow!
Here is the Looper article on some of the fan theories on TFATWS.

Show Notes
Following in Blockbuster's footsteps, the theater industry is on the decline due to the rise of streaming and their slow response to make the movie experience more affordable. We give our takes on the future of theaters after COVID and ask "Are they the enemy of the good?" After that we get into The Mandelorian ending and surprise announcement.
The playoff picture levels out. Some really good games this week, some heartbreaking loses, a couple upsets, and a team both won and lost in the same game (Jets, it was the Jets). Later in the show we recap the playoff picture and cover a ridiculous rule change that epitomizes woke stupidity invading boardrooms, the Vincent rule.
The Vincent rule is going to cost good black coaches jobs, per Jason Whitlock at Outkick. More from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Enjoy some funny takes from the Jets winning, but losing. ESPN's 'First Take' crew gets it.
Tootsy and the Captain dive into Disney's huge announcement on the new Star Wars shows and movies. We re-cap where the franchise has been, vent on the latest trilogy, and speculate where the galaxy far, far away is going.

Dumb-dumb-stupid award winners:
Tootsy and the Captain run through the lead-up to election week and vent some frustration over the absolute disaster that has been the last few days. Despite all the evidence and litigation, the media decide to call it for Biden. The two of us have lost faith in our election system, and the longer this goes on, the more answers we need to get it back. 4 AM vote dumps, preventing poll watchers from witnessing counts, counting ballots that should be rejected, judges re-writing election law, software "glitches," and statistically impossible vote breaks in all the right places thanks to the above. Buckle up and please read the show notes.
Really good games in all the slots this week. Some great roller-casters and last-drive games.
Lockdowns are marital law without troops in the streets. Athletes and sportscasters have responsibility when speaking out about issues to also speak out against the riots and looting. Can anyone explain to me why mass protests are OK, but my job is still shut down?
Show notes:
Finally a COVID- free week. Time to bring back the fans!
Week five saw some close games, upsets, huge comebacks, as well as the loss of one of the game's stars for the season. COVID strike again for a 4-0 record so far.
Here we go again... Dems dragging up the 25th Amendment while Speaker Pelosi positions for 4 more years of impeachment or 4 years of President Harris.
Notes:
The President got COVID, the responses are ridiculous. Divisive politics are ruining the NBA and hurting the NFL. Topped off with a bit of perspective on climate.
Show Notes:
Talks break down again because our politicians have savior complexes and elections. Our quick take.
Test-cast for our Recap of the NFL. Finally a week where the injury reports are shorter than the box scores.
