Today I want to talk to you about some of the things that I found while building a couple of businesses. The first thing is that you have to establish your brand. You have to know what makes you different and that is the one thing that you have to hang your hat on if you're going to succeed.
I've had businesses that were brand built and businesses that were basically me selling the same fork as the guy down the road. If we're all selling forks then the only difference is the price and my friend the race to the bottom when it comes to price is not a race you want to win.
In this episode we are going to set you up for success. In this episode I'm going to give you three things that you should think about before you start your own business. Today there is a lot of stress out there that comes with worrying about money and how to just simply exist. I know that it can get crazy when the bank account feels low in between those paychecks so let's work on fixing that. If that' s not you and you have set up a business where you have to grind 24/7 let's fix that too. The burnout world is real, but it doesn't have to be real for you.
Here's where the magic happens and this is why I say that you have to spend time alone doing nothing. That is where the magic happens and that is where it happened for me. The secret is in where you look to build your business, your family, and your future. However, let's focus on business because this is an entrepreneurial podcast.

If it is readily being offered to you as a solution it's probably not the best solution. The best solutions are usually the ones that you have to dig for. The best solutions are the ones that aren't being offered over and over again out in the public. The best solutions are often right in front of your face, but you are trained to be distracted with all of the shiny objects and opportunities.

It Takes Courage To Be Successfull...
The one thing that I want you to get from this is that you are going to have to go it alone for a moment or two. What I learned from life is that you are going to have to go after your dream and often times you are going to have to go it alone.
A lot of the time the people around you are not going to be the ones to help you get to your new you. It's not that they are bad or that they are hating. It's actually the opposite. They are loving.
They are in love with the old you. The old you is comfortable. The old you is familiar. The old you doesn't challenge their own limiting belefs about what is possible. You are going to have to give yourself the courage to go forward. You are going to need to give yourself the courage to step out and find the people, opportunities, and situations that are going to help you flourish.
Give yourself the courage to step into your purpose. We need you!

What Are You Willing To Do...
This really spoke to me today because I didn't want to do a daily podcast. I didn't want to be a social media person. I didn't want to do all of the things that it would take to be someone who helps people on a large scale.
However, I also didn't want to see another person struggle in life when I felt like I could help. There is someone out there who is struggling because you aren't willing to step into your purpose. There is someone out there whose life will not get bettter until you share your purpose with the world.
Fulffilling your purpose is bigger than you. It really is. IT IS BIGGER THAN YOU! So here's your homework for today.
- Write down one thing that you have not been willing to do and DO IT!
Don't wait until tomorrow. Don't wait until the end of the week. DO IT TODAY! Your purpose is waiting for you to step into it and so...are...we.

1. Your Liming Beliefs Aren't Even Yours.
Most of the limiting beliefs that you have aren't even yours. You came here to be an astronaut. You came here to be the President or a Broadway performer, or a fireman, or an entrepreneur. You came here to change the world and you are limiting yourself based on someone else's beliefs.
2. Most People Haven't Even Tried To Do What You Want To Do!
Most of the people who are limiting your beliefs haven't even done what you are trying to do. Don't let people limit your beliefs based on ZERO information about your industry!
3. STOP Working From A Pre-Internet Ideology Space!

4. Be Honest With Yourself!
If you suck, be okay with saying that you suck. Being bad is not a permanent state. You have to have a growth mindset and then you have to be willing to be honest about where you are in your process. You have to be honest about where you are in your process!

I was struggling before I learned these things. My hope is that these tips will help you skip some of the pitfalls that I faced.
For my entire life I have been looking for that one person to..."take me under their wing and show me the way"! Now at 47 I'm realizing that I found my own way. I was the person that I had been looking for.
Now I want to help you realize that you are the person that you've been looking for before you get to your 40's and if you are in your 40's I want to help you realize that you are that person now so that you can go out there and capture whatever goal it is that you want.

I can guarantee that you are shooting too low. Don't be that guy. Your first step is to shoot for the moon! Multiply your goals by 10. Make your current goal the midpoint and your new goal will be 10x what you thought was possible. The crazy thing is that after doing that you might be close to your actual abilities.
- Multiply Your Work By 10
Now the idea behind this is that you are capable of way more than you think. Multiply whatever it is that you think is necessary by 10 and then you will be on your way to the amount of work that is necessary to reach your goal.
- Celebrate your wins!
Make sure that you celebrate your wins along the way. These little celebrations will tell your subconsious mind that you are on the right track. You want your subconscious mind to be rewarded.

1. Have A Vision.
You already know what you were supposed to do. The problem that you are having is that someone has told you that your dream wasn't real and you believed them. Well, you were a kid then. You are an adult now. Time to tell yourself that your dreams are real and go get your vision. Get a vision and be very specific>
A. Allow Your Vision To Change With New Information!
You can have a new vision. You have to know that your vision is YOUR vision. You can allow it to shift and change as you live your life! Don't let anyone tell you how your goals and dreams and how they should look.
"Don't expect people to understand your calling it wasn't a conference call."
B. Ask Yourself What You LOVE To Do?
Not the thing that you thought about after your conscious mind kicked in. I'm talking about that first thing that jumped in your mind. That is the thing that you are supposed to do. Your job is to become a master at it and find your triibe. Most of the time you don't know them yet. They willnot be the people that you currently know. Remember what you love to do and start moving towards mastery.
2. Ask Yourself What Is In Your Zone Of Genius
What are you great at doing? What is in your zone of genius? Put it together with what you feel is your calling. Do this and you are on your way to your supreme success. Speaking of supreme success...
3. Plan For Supreme Success!
Plan for your supreme success! Plan to win! Plan to make it. You have done all of the things that you needed to do to have what you need to have. So plan to win!
