Welcome to the MSG Podcast with your co-hosts Kelly (@kellynguyvn) and Lily(@lilyyson). Stay tuned to hear our more subtle guidelines on life! New episode every Wednesday at 10AM (PT)
Good morning to the MSG Podcast, and happy Wednesday to all. This week's episode, Miscellaneous Shower Guidelines, will be a bit different as co-host Lily shares her silly, yet somehow serious, shower thoughts in her solo episode for Season 1 of the More Subtle Guidelines Podcast. Different topics will be discussed, ranging from random facts about popular trends from her childhood, to different notions of handling and approaching grief. The purpose of this episode is to give clarity through comedic (?) leisure, to share with listeners an important lesson which continues to help our co-host stay steadfast and committed throughout her journey of life: to accept reality as it comes. With imminent love for the MSG community, we send prayers of blessings to all. Manifesting great fortune and happiness for those out there listening. Thanks for tuning in (:
XOXO, Your 5'3 Big Sisters
Welcome back to another episode of the MSG Podcast where lifestyle guidelines are given in some of the most unsubtle, yet subtlest of ways.
We would like to start off by thanking our special guest, San Vu, for making the time to speak with us in collaboration of our ideas on what we define as “Work Hard Play Hard,” the very title of this episode. This week’s interlude will cover varying aspects of this topic, including the ways in which we incorporate this ideology in our everyday lives, how we go about challenges of energy management, and how to find a healthy balance between the two.
We love ya’ll, and thank you guys for tuning in <3
XOXO,
Your 5’3 Big Sisters
Happy hump day to the MSG community, and an exceptionally good morning to all listening to the MSG Podcast every Wednesday morning at 10AM!
This week's episode will be prefacing subtle guidelines on how to practice healthy coping mechanisms during times of distress. Rebranded as "Mildly Sad Girls," cohosts Kelly and Lily will be sharing their tips and tricks on what they have learned over the years when it comes to properly accessing difficult, uncomfortable, and/or overwhelming situations in a light-hearted manner, while giving the time and respect to comprehend the cause of instability in one's life. Advice will be given in a joking, yet serious way which embodies a key lesson of this episode: to yes, be self-aware, but to also remember to step back, relax, and acknowledge the fact that circumstantial events in your life do not define your identity. Having moments of mild sadness is a universal experience, and we hope that the coping mechanisms shared are helpful to any, and all, listeners going through it.
Love ya'll, and thank you for tuning in.
XOXO,
Your 5'3 Big Sisters
After a week of unexpected absence, we are excited to share news of today's release!
Courtesy of the MSG Podcast's lovely co-host Kelly, this week's episode, Mirror Mirror, will cover different aspects of self-identification and perception. Through the storytelling of her journey of self-personal identity, tips and tricks on how to alleviate and go about societal pressures, with a large focus on the influence of social media, will be shared. With the purpose of this episode aiming to encourage a stronger, more resilient sense of self-identity and confidence within any audience members struggling with issues of self-image and acceptance, it is of genuine hope that this episode gives positive insight into the beauty of loving oneself simply to love oneself, because resultive of this achievement of self-respect is a feeling of euphoria which cannot be attained in relationships other than with oneself. Kelly shares her story in order to address the continual trend of young people creating different facades, of different personas, in order to consolidate a valid sense of self-identification through the assimilation of societal pressures.
Wishing the MSG community health and love, we hope this episode helps to pacify any distressed feelings of emotional instability. Thank you guys for your patience and support. We love you guys, and can't wait to continue this journey of growth together as the MSG community.
Feeling: #appreciative
XOXO,
Your 5'3 Big Sisters
Welcome back to the MSG Podcast. In this week's episode, we will be talking about the different connotations of what it means to be single, and how societal views influence the postulation of self-identity, based on the evaluation of relationships had/we have in life. With an adamant emphasis on the importance of self-love, we hope to remind any listeners going through their journeys of self-love that being single is a signification of independence and strength, not of incapability. We love ya'll, and hope ya'll love yourselves too. XOXO, Your 5'3 Big Sisters
