So in today's episode I want to motivate you by revealing what your self care routine really says about you, and it's not all good. When we know we should look out for ourselves and we don't, why not? And what will it take to get us to do what's good for us. I talk about my own self care routine, ask myself some revealing questions and share with you what I really believe about myself, and I get you to follow along too. In the end we either care enough about ourselves to do what's necessary, or we don't. So let me chiddy you along to set your intention so you get to experience what it's like to put you first for a change.

Motivation is a burden- at least this is what I've come to believe. In this episode I explore the idea that we should motivate our team, our spouse our children and even ourselves. Our mindset is the only way we can have control in our life so why would we spend that time trying to burden it with taking the responsibility for other people? My answer is we shouldn't. Listen to understand why, it just might save you years of people pleasing that I've had to go through and the consequences of that. Let me know what you think

Now I am not a people pleaser but could only be this way by working on my mindset, so if you feel that you are reacting badly to people and you want it to stop, then this podcast is for you.
In everyday mindfulness you'll understand what it really means to be present. If you are triggered regularly or you feel 'off' regularly, then it means you are not present, so in this podcast episode I give you the mindfulness practice that 100% will show you whether you are present or not and is the best way to train you to be more mindful.
In this podcast, ask the question around what you do if you are not acknowledged, praised or recognised in any area of your life. I also cover my attitude towards this, my blind spots in this area and how to tell if you are accepting things about yourself that limit you, just because you've always felt that way. In the end once you are aware then you can change things
When we try new things, we can find ourselves doubting ourselves which is normal. But did you notice that self doubt is constant, but we ignore it, and the question is what effect is this having on that area of your life. Because self doubt makes us limit ourselves, and it not at all good, so in this podcast I go through some things you can do to reduce or even eliminate self doubt.
Why you still get angry, irritated and annoyed, with other people or situations is because your mindset has not been calibrated. which means you are still getting triggered by the same things that irritated you months and even for years. The way to know that your mindset needs recalibrating is that you react to the same thing said or done by different people in different ways. So if a friend says something and you react to it as it being a nice thing to say, but someone you dislike says the same thing and you think them rude, then your mindset is faulty, and needs recalibrating. So in this episode I help you understand what level your awareness is at, what you can do, and what you cannot do to change other people's reactions.
If you are not in control of your mindsets then you won't be able to have the success you so deserve. In this episode I talk about how the life coaching industry is pulling the wool over the eyes of would be life coaches who think that all they need to be successful is to be a great listener.... Their mindset is not going to help them get clients if they don't have the one essential thing a business mindset. And this is pertinent to you because it's about understanding that to be successful it takes more than just one mindset, it takes many, but if you don't know that you'll stay stuck.
If you are struggling with the goals you set, or you're not working to your optimum, or even you know what to do but can't get yourself to do it, it means you do not have the right mindsets that help you achieve your goals. In this podcast I outline the differences between a corporate mindset and a business mindset and what makes you success in one area won't and can't cross over and make you successful in the other. One type of mindset is responsible for the death of success and if you don't want that, then listen, take notes and implement the new mindsets you need today.
When someone or someone's criticise you, directly or covertly, it can trigger your past wounds. What you do next will dictate how well you continue to handle other people criticising you. In this podcast listen as I walk you through my own event where criticism derailed me for a while and how not to let this happen to you.
I had a major meltdown this week - I got triggered- But the only good thing to come out of it was how different my reaction was this time to the times before. In this episode I talk about how to be okay with not being okay. And how if you're not okay with being not okay, what you can do to sort this out. If you follow this one tip, the next time you spiral the effects of it might not last as long, in fact the effects will ware off quicker and those negative feelings will simply disappear.
Everyone knows how to set a goal and all of us know how to achieve a goal, but not many of us know how to achieve all our goals without the frustrating trail and error. In this podcast I outline the two standard ways of achieving any goal, which works as long as you can get yourself to take the necessary action. But if you want a fool proof way of taking that action, then the third way of achieving your goal is not to be missed.
If you are stuck but you want to be a higher achiever, then it would help if you knew where you were now and how to get to higher levels. So in this podcast I talk you through an achiever level which will show you whether you are at the lower stuck level, or you might be in denial, or higher but not motivated. I give you some ways to tell where you are now and the tell tale behaviour you now need to adopt.
Do you have attitudes of success? People talk about either being a person who sees the glass half empty or half full, I talk about what attitudes do you have about your own skills that you either dismiss or put down or discount? In this podcast I talk about how to recognise your own attitudes that others would envy you for, that you might take for granted, that if you didn't you would find you are more confident in life.
If you are an introvert, or ambivert, or even an extrovert, is your personality stuck in stone? There is a lot of talk about introverts having a different type of brain compared to an extrovert, implying that we are stuck being an introvert. Not sure I believe this given that I've changed from being an introvert to an ambivert over the years. So in this podcast I give you one question to ask yourself that will open up your potential for you and make your career and life bigger with you having more choices in life.
I'm sure you've heard of the power of our inner thoughts, but do you really understand how a little thought said in a particular way can and will stop you succeeding? That same thought said in a different way, can empower you? In this podcast I talk about how this happened to me just two weeks ago and how by changing one word it got me from being down and in a funk to being okay and getting on with my work. Our inner talk is powerful, we need to think with caution.
As an introvert leader you and I will over react to certain stressors, but if we know what they are we can do something to mitigate them. In this podcast I outline the 6 P's that have a dramatic effect on our life that you need to be aware of.
I've been severely triggered so much so I was about to ditch all this online business building in. My history is such that when I get triggered and I spiral, then it's into anxiety. Not been there is years, but that's because of my laser coaching. In this episode I talk through my trigger, and how I knew I was triggered before I felt the negative feelings associated, and give you pointers to find out your indicator that you've been triggered, and what to do then.

I outline the 4 step model, give you the only question you need to identify the beliefs and how to then get rid of your limiting beliefs. To contact me to go through your own limiting money mindset - go to https://elaineblidgeon.com/contact

Use it and it will help you to get your ideas listened to.
Your blind spots are derailing your attempts of being successful. Everyone has them but most of us think it's just our personality and it's the way we are if we find we are compelled to keep repeating the same dysfunctional behaviours. In this episode I talk about how to identify your own blind spots, why you should and the benefits to you and your life when you get rid of your blind spots.
If you've ever wondered what really stops you thriving in life or business or even your career, then this podcast will answer that for you. Your shadow emotions really do dictate what you can achieve in life, and also what mood you experience in a day. So many of us get in dark moods even at their own birthday party, and think it's about what happened, it's not, so I give you tips and what to do so that you can live a life without your shadow emotions eclipsing your enjoyment of life.
Do you know what triggers you? And if you do, what do you do to stop them? If you don't know you get triggered by certain people, places or things then you won't be able to fight it. Most people focus on the wrong thing to 'cure' their triggers, and all this does is make you shrink your life to suit how you feel. In this episode I talk about how to unravel your triggers, where to work on them to disarm them, and what that means for your life
What's your anxiety trying to tell you? Do you know? I never used to think that anxiety or the worries I had was anything other than a bad feeling, but if you know how to read your emotions, you'll realise that it's trying to tell you something that really makes you feel scared. I talk about this and give you an example from my life where I felt a particular emotion and this was my trigger. Listen go through the exercise I've given you and see if you can identify your trigger that makes you anxious.
If you find that despite all the self help, coaching, courses, trainings you've been on that you aren't more further along, there is only one reason. Listen with an open ear because what you'll hear is easy to dismiss, but it's very real and you might be suffering through it too!

If you lost your memory for being able to feel inappropriately sad, or you lost your memory for being upset and feeling like a victim, what difference would you life be then? What happens when you create boundaries - Does the other person calmly say, that's okay, I'm your friend and I understand. NO So should we then stop creating boundaries because we get push back? I agree, me too! And that's why I advocate being a rule breaker. I have been one all my life, only thing is, I got so much negative feedback that I stopped and played by their rules, just for an easy life. But what I also noticed is when I play by my own rules, my life works better for me. So join me as I share with you my plan for living more authentically me, and becoming a rule breaker for a better and happier existence.
