I left a sales page the other day because it had no clear flow.
*Not because I wasn’t interested in the product.
Not because the words on the page weren’t good.*
I left because it was chaotic, and I couldn’t tell what to read in order to get the information I needed to decide whether I wanted the offer.
That person lost a 4-figure sale that day. That sale was me, lol.
Listen, I’m not trying to be harsh or bash this entrepreneur who I’ll obviously protect and keep anonymous. (Honestly, I would have loved to help them.)
The fact of the matter is that our brains control how we process information, sales pages included.
You could be the best copywriter in the world and lose a sale because of a common sales page strategy mistake. You could also be a great sales page strategist and lose a sale because of bad copy.
In today’s episode, I cover these common sales page mistakes and how to avoid them.

If you were to ask me for one of my best tips to grow your email list, I’d say to start with your website.
You’d be SURPRISED how many people I meet who are eager to build their list but don’t have a solid opt-in form on their site. You know…the thing that you’re constantly driving traffic back to.
And, listen, it happens. But, tbh, growing your list by making simple tweaks to your website is easier than you think, and you can likely do it yourself.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
💌 which pages of your website to add an email opt-in form to
💌the type of opt-in forms to use & tips on how to write copy for them
Doing this will help you avoid:
👎 sending people to your site without capturing their info
👎 missing out on staying in touch with potential clients

After working with a handful of clients that had NEVER outsourced such a major part of their marketing to someone else before…
I thought it might be helpful to give you a little run down of what to prep beforehand to help you:
✨ experience a smoother, stress-free outsourcing process
✨ get more out of your investment
And, most importantly, avoid…
👎 a clunky, time-consuming work relationship
👎 extending deadlines and setting your launch back weeks, if not months
I also included a FREE checklist that summarizes what we cover in the episode that you can access here.
Now that I feel like I’m out of the weeds of putting my business together and in the thick of running it semi-smoothly, I think one of my favorite pieces of content to create for others is things I’ve learned along the way.
If I can in any way possible reach back and help you skip some steps or avoid annoying little mistakes I made that, looking back, could have been preventable if I just would’ve known, I’m all for it.
So, in episode 024, I’m sharing 3 things I’ve learned in my last year of business that just miiiiight help you.
Happy listening 🎧✨

When it comes to growing your email list you might have noticed that there are periods of highs and lows.
Maybe you create a freebie or waitlist that inspires a burst of growth — followed by a lull once the hype has worn off and begin to wonder...
“Crap, do I have to keep pumping out free resources in order to gain email list growth traction?”
My, personal, advice and take is – no, you don’t.
While I think it’s important to market your email list on your most frequently used social media platforms, I also think it’s about making the most of everywhere you show up online – even in the smallest ways!
In episode 023, I’m going to walk you through some simple and creative ideas for growing your email list.
My goal in doing so isn’t to overwhelm you and have you implement every single one of these ideas – but for you to take the ideas that make sense and feel good to you and your business!

When I first stepped into the world of copywriting back in 2018, ethical copywriting wasn’t really a "thing" in the online space I was operating in.
Even though I wasn’t educated on the topic, what I did know, or feel, was that the “bro marketing” way of copywriting that I was being trained in felt uncomfortable and slightly wrong at times.
The whole “paint a picture of people’s problems” and then “twist the knife even further” to really sell them did not align with my empathetic, highly-sensitive self.
And, maybe you feel the same?
It wasn’t until 2020 when I came across my friends Nat from The Brand Copywriter and her coach (and my now friend) Rachel Turner that I learned there was a different way to write copy.
A way that didn’t:
to get people to “take action” on your offer – and I fell in love and immediately started implementing what is now described as ethical copywriting.
If you, too, have been interested in learning how to take a more ethical approach to how you write your own copy – especially sales page – episode 022 is going to give you 2 simple things you can do today to write more ethically without having to overthink it!

Interested in becoming a full-time copywriter but aren't sure how to structure your offers so you can make the big move from side-hustle to freelancer?
After connecting with amazing, aspiring copywriters in the last year via IG + my email list — I've learned that's one of the most common situations people have a hard time navigating.
And while I'm confident you could find your own way — I just so happen to record an entire episode on: One Way You Can Become a Full-Time Copywriter.
What I share is actually how I left my corporate job and transitioned to part-time, then full-time freelancing, and built my business...

Yeesh — sales pages, am I right? You either love writing them or you'd rather watch paint dry.
Either way, if you're a business owner who has ever wanted to launch a course, program, or stand-alone offer of any kind then you might find yourself in need of one.
And contrary to popular belief, I don't think you have to be a copywriter to write a great sales page.
However, I do believe having a * P L A N * makes writing them a heck of a lot easier.
In today's episode, I'm happily sharing my 03-step sales page writing process AND I sprinkled in a free resource (sales page start kit, checkkk-list) for extra support.
What can I say? I'm a generous gal. Super humble, too.

Sharing all the juicy details and BTS of the Email Marketing 101 course launch in today's episode 🧃✨
FUN FACT: I've been a part of countless launches for courses, memberships, coaching programs, and even best-selling books!
BUT...
I've never launched a digital product myself -- until November 2021, that is.
What made this launch so special, besides that it was my first, was that I didn't do anything spectacular, however...
I launched the course to my WAITLIST ONLY for the first week.
And in that week, the waitlist produced 15k+ worth of sales, which was pretty mind-blowing for my first ever launch (right before Black Friday, too!)
Oh! And I was able to hit my new student goal in just 36 hrs! Again, all from the waitlist!
Which, ahem, is ✨proof ✨that using email as a tool to promote your offers when you've spent time consistently nurturing the people on your list -- works!
For all the nitty-gritty launch deets, tune in to today's episode!
I hope it encourages you to honor your launch process and put your magic out into the world!
