A day to celebrate love, it's called!
We thought we'd down memory lane and share stories about first or most memorable crushes. We weren't expecting such funny responses but I guess we are all at that age where we are comfortable laughing at our naivety and the innocence of our adolescence.
Happy Valentine's to everyone. It's a day to love yourself and your dear ones.

Money and problems led by it can be the sole reason in breaking families apart.
How do you say no to requests for help when it's ingrained in the culture that if you are in a better position, you ought to take care of the rest.

Being raised in two different cultures comes with its own set of identity problems and one of the main one is the clash in personality between you and the culture you are supposed to BELONG to.
We learn cultural values that become habits and are rooted so deep that we sometimes barely question them.
Developing your personal values and then unlearning what doesn't align with what you have absorbed growing up, is a very heavy emotional journey.
It is not all negative, so we asked what you would or wouldn't pass down to your children.
In this two part episode, first we talk about the values YOU WILL PASS DOWN.

One half of our duo, Meri, grew up in a family with strong hindu religious beliefs.
This meant she had to follow specific rules when she first got her first period and subsequently every time of the month.
Without proper education of the rituals, she never understood why she and the females of her family had to go through an experience that made them feel isolated and ashamed of their natural cycle.
Female bodies, physiologically and emotionally, go through enough already, do we really need the society and religion to add more suffering to that?
To this day, Meri continuously stands up for her belief that women shouldn't have to go through a degrading experience and literally be made to feel impure.

As with every global event, there are rumours bound to spread and when rumours spread, the facts can get diluted, twisted and misunderstood.
When the world had little knowledge about who Covid-19 affected and how, there were plenty of guesses made and shared with very little fact checking.
One year down the line, health service and science still continue their research to understand this virus fully but one thing that’s very clear is that it can have detrimental effect on anybody regardless of age, existing health issues, lifestyle and diet.
In this episode we bring you a perfect example of how members of the same family were affected very differently, despite having similar health history, diet and lifestyle.

Growing up in a conservative society where sex is a taboo subject, we explored adulthood with little or incorrect knowledge about it. To this day, people are tight lipped about appropriate and necessary sex education.
This episode entails a candid discussion and intimate details about our journey of learning and unlearning everything about sex.
It’s our little effort to bring an uncomfortable topic to the table and talk about it in a way it deserves; normally and casually.
We hope to share our knowledge and want to make our comment section a non judgemental space for discussion.
