Tiller Talk returns for another week to talk football and the upcoming end of the "Pandemic Football Season" for the Wolfpack as they face Richlands on Saturday April 10th. It will be Senior Day as the seniors from the football team, cheerleading squad and the band will be honored for the contributions to Wolfpack athletics. Coach Tiller and host Rod Mullins delve into the last week and a half, the scheduling of Richlands, missing the playoffs, some candid thoughts and also how the VHSL playoffs have been impacted by complaints by a parent in regard to quarantine and denial of a player the chance to play, even though he had tested negative for COVID.

Also, Coach Tiller informs us of the shuffling of the playoff picture right down to wire as one team will not be playing for a regional title and the runner up moves into the higher seed. From there, its a look at the two teams from the Mountain 7 that made the playoffs, Union and Wise Central, and their upcoming regional playoff games and a preview to their opponents, Graham and Tazewell, respectively from the Southwest District.

The podcast then returns to the upcoming game against Richlands, the goal of the Wolfpack players to win and send the seniors out on a winning note and the preparation for the fall.

It's another sit down discussion between Coach Todd Tiller and host Rod Mullins, as they get you ready for the upcoming game this weekend on Tiller Talk, a podcast presentation of The Ridge, covering Dickenson County's Home Team online!

On this week's podcast, Coach Tiller and host Rod Mullins discuss the nearly 20 day break between the scheduled and later postponed John Battle game and the preparation for this week's scheduled opponent Gate City.  Coach discusses film breakdown and what they have discovered about the Blue Devils heading into Saturday's contest at Legion Field in Gate City. The two later turn their attention to the playoff picture and how it will be implemented as well as future scheduling for the fall of 2021, the announcement of one new opponent on the '21 schedule. Also discussed, the issue now of scheduling.  Once an easy thing, consolidation of some public schools in the region has reduced the number of opponents, meaning every game secured is important and the attempt to schedule a new Tennessee school, that sounds very similar to the 'Pack.  The podcast also touches on college recruiting and how the recruiting system has changed over the last few years.

So sit back, listen in and track the latest on the 'Pack with "Tiller Talk", a podcast produced by The Ridge.
